@@biganimetiddies1287 yeah it was but everywhere i saw was people hating on the band for year until Eternal Enemies came out then they started talking good about them
Only song I kinda wish I saw here was "You got a henna tattoo that said forever" Such a rad song lol. Either way, super solid list Baena! Thanks for doing this.
Their first two albums were bangers then IDK what happened. As always the play through was on point and I'm so happy you make these videos. Do Veil of Maya next!
I like how you put your Hand up to ear, channeling that Josh Travis in ya dude. He does that live so much. Plus the Hoodie up, and the Gravedigger move. hahahaha
Goodbye to the Gallows still holds up to me. Because of this video I literally went and learned when keeping it real goes wrong and rusted over wet dreams. Thanks for the inspiration
There’s more melody in those earlier albums than I remember. They got that East-coast douche-core vibe at times, but I can’t help but loving Goodbye to the Gallows. They’re so good live too because all those single-string lines and chugs really transfer, no matter who sleepy the sound guy is at the venue.
This video made me realize that emmure has a HUGE catalog of music. Say what you will about them but props to them making metalcore after all that time in a short spans of time
Absolutely loved it,you kicked ass as always 🖤🖤🖤🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿...loved smokey but missed natural born killer...that would make it 100% complete...just a personal opinion
Love the vids Andrew. How do you get the high not screech effect like in Smokey at 6:17 with a plugin for a daw. Trying to fit these into my mixes but can’t figure out or find a plugin that makes those sweet high not sounds
Chicago's Finest was the song that really got me into Emmure. I didn't really feel The Respect Issue at the time, but then Felony came out and I was sold.
Even though many people might not care too much about it. There's really a huge difference in the sound when they switched line up. They went from having pretty basic and bouncy riff to relentless backbeat style riffs. Everything they've created with the new line up is constant bangers.
So happy josh joined😂😂 please do Glass cloud and northlane tuned down (for real). 🙂 And just my own personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt but try northlane on the 9 in double drop A and if you feel up to the challenge for glass cloud in double drop E on the 10(for PFW ep) and double drop c on your 8 or 9 (for TRT album)👍👍
Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza riff evolution would be insane
Parker Rognrud YAASSSS
DO IT
all of this.
Yes, please as much Josh travis aspossiblrrjrj
All he eight strings ever Marc dokubo from VOM as well his kiesel diggy are wondrous
Surely, I'm not the only one who thinks that their earlier stuff needs a remastered version? Because I can see a lot of potential in it all.
I agree it'd be cool as hell.
Before: Chuggy chuggy breakdown
After: Lower tuned breakdown
Goodbye to the gallows will forever be the soundtrack to my life. First time hearing ten signs and rusted over wet dreams changed my life.
Same
Doesn’t get the credit it deserves. It was ahead of the curve.
Ticket to the Paralyzer is the greasted intro track of all time. Nothing is more melancholic lol.
518ashtray pure facts. Always nostalgic for me
Sleeping Princess In Devils Tower is my favorite song
Veil of Maya evolution would be sick
Best idea I've read
You ain't lieing
Would be hard as fuck tho lol
All their riffs are so fun to play
We'd see the opposite of emmure. Going from techy riffs to generic deathcore.
0:50 YOU KNOW ITS ALL A GAMMMEEE THAT WE PLAY BACK AND FORTTTHHHH!!!
Sooo groovy
I leave, you chase.
And we're back to square one!
Don't forget to check out the links in the description! Let me know which band you would like to see next :)
Miss May I
Misery Signals and For The Fallen Dreams
Acacia strain
The acacia strain man! Or Tony danza!
The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza!!
Wow you made Smokey sound just BRUTAL! That tone... I could feel it, down in my plums.
blackened872 amazing reference 👍🏻
scotty smith what a great show that was.
blackened872 indeed. They don’t make em like they used to.
Jezza
Also, those first two albums had some low key BANGERS on them.
The entire albums were bangers.
felony slaps too
man have been an emmure fan and everyone hated it on then so much. so I'm happy that people are liking them now
@@dmc_9894 I remember a TON of people loving When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong when that album came out. That intro riff was a killer.
@@biganimetiddies1287 yeah it was but everywhere i saw was people hating on the band for year until Eternal Enemies came out then they started talking good about them
Loved the hand to ear during Smokey XDXD
I must say I underestimated Emmure for a very long time. We need to give them credit for bringing the Tom Merollo pitch shifting style into deathcore.
Demons With Ryu!!!!! My favorite!!! Love you Andrew!
I’m literally singing to every song here. I used to love Emmure. Brings back memories :)
I totally forgot that Josh joined Emmure.
Sick video, brotha!
Jeremiah Hart ^ true!
Makes me wanna go listen right now
You have quite an ability to both read and play binary.
*Morse code
Totally a coder
Cody baena
Man you're such a solid musician.
I'd love to see an After the Burial edition. After seeing them last night slam out old from new tracks.
Sounds good man, you really got that emmure vibe good
Only song I kinda wish I saw here was "You got a henna tattoo that said forever" Such a rad song lol. Either way, super solid list Baena! Thanks for doing this.
Man your guitar evolution videos are incredible! You have such beautiful guitars, keep on rocking🤘🏼
I loved this so much. Emmure gets shat on a lot but nobody sounds quite like them.
First time ive ever been in under 100. sick one man!
Join our discord man! Gotta get Andrews hands on an Ormsby! You got that new job yeah!
I hope you keep getting more subs. You put out some really good stuff. Don’t give up on TH-cam! I watch every video you do

I hate how much of an inspiration you are. Thanks for the years of amazing content AB
"I'm probably AGAHAHAGAGAGAG"
lmao
??? The worst fuck you ever had ???
You should do The Acacia Strain
he just did tho.
Lol
First time I've ever heard Emmure pronounced that way
I'm friends with Josh Travis and he doesn't pronounce it that way either LoL
I came to the comment section to see if I wasn’t the only one thinking this lol. Thank god. I was trippin
I’m a simple man. I see Emmure guitar covers I hit like. Good work!
Without a doubt my favourite one of these to date! Also, mad love for going all the way back to The Complete Guide To Needlework
Their first two albums were bangers then IDK what happened. As always the play through was on point and I'm so happy you make these videos. Do Veil of Maya next!
Latest two records are their best though. Travis and Miller are superior to the Lionetti bros.🤷♂️
@@skutts perhaps by a technical stand point. I did love the guitar work on Perfect War Forever by Glass Cloud so ill give it another listen
@@kirkmiller5152 bro, Perfect War Forever is fantastic! Dug a Grave is up there amongst my favorite metal songs all time. Good taste in music 👍
@@skutts such a shame they broke up when they were just finding their groove as a band. That EP is a looked over classic
Bro you seriously chose the best tracks from each record to represent the changes.
So glad you're working on Emmure stuff
I feel like they hit a whole new level when Josh joined. Killer vid Andrew
2:49 I often come back for this... Idk, so beautiful in your version (and on the original too but, for some reason, I like yours the most)
BRAVO!!!
Love emmure. Amazing work man❤
Gotta do Chelsea Grin, Oceano, and Tool next! Awesome video man!!!
Glad you included mdma in there. It's such a simple song but so catchy and is one of their classics! ☺

Within The Ruins would be a good one. They've changed quite a bit since their first album "Driven By Fear". Veil of maya would be insane to do too.
Best one yet Andrew. Keep em coming man
By the way, very good imitation of Josh travis on Smokey ahah
I think given the new Motionless in White album that could be next. Great vid, love your work, just subbed!
ERRA guitar riff evolution please!!
Yes
There’s more melody in those earlier albums than I remember. They got that East-coast douche-core vibe at times, but I can’t help but loving Goodbye to the Gallows. They’re so good live too because all those single-string lines and chugs really transfer, no matter who sleepy the sound guy is at the venue.
Very good guitar cover.
Also liked your green guitar. This color really fits to emmure style
Chelsea Grin, Suicide Silence, Of Mice & Men, Memphis May Fire, or Periphery would be awesome.
The whole time, I was thinking “that Bars In Astoria riff better be here” 💙💙
Dude your guitar sound is so fucking epic!
killed it as always. great job!
I only listened to their last album and I must say, love their riffs. Good job Andrew!
Yo, I've never listened to Emmure before but now I'm never gonna stop!
This video made me realize that emmure has a HUGE catalog of music. Say what you will about them but props to them making metalcore after all that time in a short spans of time
Maybe go next born of osiris or veil of maya?)
Who else sang "i see the fire in the sky" When the jam came on ?

Loved how MDMA sounded on your rig! Also Andrew, whats your album of Emmure? Big Emmure fan here. Also sweet video! :)
What about Disfiguring The Goddess or Here Comes The Kraken?
Fuckin love what EMMURE has evolved into. So heavy and grooooovvvyyy!
This was a blast!
Great video I really enjoyed this!
It looks like the guitar playing got more simplistic over time
Basically play binary code with dissonance and there you go.
Same with The Acacia Strain imo.
You mean Glass Cloud featuring Frankie Pastrami?
great guitar tone on this one dude
That white Solar guitar sounds fucking amazing. God damn.
Sounds Killer bro!
Not much has changed and i love it that way!
Anyone else started screaming Chase your dreams when Chicagos finest came on? 😂😂 I love that song so much
Chicago's Finest was the song that really got me into Emmure. I didn't really feel The Respect Issue at the time, but then Felony came out and I was sold.
Holy fuck I just recommended this on the last video and Baena did it. 😭
The guitar evolutions are my go to when I'm at the gym
The brought back memories. Nice work
So fucking happy you did A Gift A Curse, would do anything for a full instrumental cover or one with Johnny on Vox
Love these new camera angles
DEADLIGHT † ExoTruth new house I’m pretty sure
Great riff bro
What setting do you/Emmure use on the digitech whammy? Trying to get these songs down as well
Amazing video! Made me re-listen all Emmure albums :D Would love to see Northlane or Architects next :)
Northlane is in progress and Architects has already been done 😁
@@BaenaCarcosa oh wow I feel bad for that hahaha I will check it out!
Hell ya, thanks for doing this video.
That's really good!
OMG! this video is simply fantastic! could you do one of Architects?
I already have! Check out the playlist
Thanks bro! What effects do you use in this video for breakdowns?
After hearing WKIRGW with more updated production, I so wish Emmure would release an older album redux like Born of Osiris did with the New Reign
Even though many people might not care too much about it. There's really a huge difference in the sound when they switched line up. They went from having pretty basic and bouncy riff to relentless backbeat style riffs. Everything they've created with the new line up is constant bangers.
What Josh Travis does to a mfer
Can you do a Chelsea grin evolution or tuned down?
would you be interested in doing the evolution of Chimaira?
I want to learn every song you just played 😆🤘 the only one I know is solar flare homicide!
Emmure is forever!!! I’m ready for Hindsight how about you? 2020 will be good for the music!
Oceano riffs please!!!
I would love to hear the "Goodbye to The Gallows" in full, with this tone.
Love your videos man! Would you be willing to maybe do an As I Lay Dying evolution video? Or maybe even a UABB evolution video?
This just took me back in time
You should do evolution of Attack Attack I think you could have some fun with that one
I need a Felony remaster. That album would be incredible with better tone and mixing
Agreed, the lyrics will always be cringy but there are some meaty fight riffs on that album!
Goes hard as fuck at the gym too.
