How can you tell how much oil to pour in? The amount of oil in the glass changes depending if it’s on the ground or on the stand

What are your thoughts on running xring chains on this bike? I was told a sealed chain will greatly extend the life of the sprockets. Just weekend track riding not racing.

X ring chains are very good chains

I was just wondering what oil you prefer I use the same brand as you but I didn’t know if the 10w 30 or 40 is the best Honda recommends 30 but I didn’t know if it matters or what your take on it was?

10W-40 can be used in a wider temperature range

Oh damn i’ve had my 2023 CRF 250 R for over a year now I have over 200 hours on it since I got the bike. It’s never had a spring. I never thought it was supposed to have a spring. Do you think it caused any damage I’m going to buy a spring very soon.

Yes, it can cause damage without the spring. The filter is not doing anything.
