Thanks for your great videos. My favorite is day 81, episode 13, because it is my adopted section. My sincere apologies for all the trees down, it was a tough summer for us trail crews due to the forest service being shut down. We were not allowed to work the trail as volunteers during the closures. I was able to get out in late October and cut the tree that you climbed over in the video. Still, there are at least 20 more in that part. Hopefully this summer we will be able to get out and get it done. Thanks again, I enjoyed every episode.
Thank you for everything you do for the hikers. I'm from across the pond and will never see it first hand but I know how much time and effort you all put into trail maintenance. Thank you.
Thank you so so much for Q&A pt2. Pt3? The question that I really wanted to know was about the nose bleeds. Iron deficiency or altitude? But regardless, thank you for sharing your hike and thank you for making a hard year for me bearable. Your videos gave me an escape and focus I really needed. I have started watching the 2022 hikers and you have set the bar so high with the music and videography that it will be hard to beat. Thank you x
Thanks for the follow-up videos, you did a marvelous job of your on-trail videos and a good portion of that is your personalities. I am not having any luck finding another PCT channel to watch this year, unlike last year. Thanks for bringing us along on your journy.
We really enjoyed your Q & A. We thought your videos were the best we have seen on a PCT hike. Your camera work and editing made for very enjoyable viewing. You took priority even over the Olympics for our nightly TV viewing. How did you keep your cameras and iPhone going? Did you have power banks and or spare batteries? The nine day stretch through the Sierras must have been a challenge for the equipment. We are from New Zealand and we managed five consecutive years hiking in the Sierras in October. Covid broke this cycle but perhaps we may get back this year. Maybe you will consider a NZ hiking trip some day. You have really touched our hearts. We wish you the very best with your endeavours.
Oh man, New Zealand is at the top of our list! I cannot express to you how badly we want to get over there one of these years! We each carried a power bank. The 9 stretched through the High Sierra was definitely our toughest for power. I was unable to use my camera the last several days because the cold wiped out my batteries and I had to prioritize my phone and garmin for the power bank. Happy trails!
What an awesome surprise to see the second video. I hope someone asked some gear questions!! Again, thank you for taking the time to do this. It's appreciated!!

Thanks again for the great videos
Would be interested in a “gear” video
I hope there's more q&as to come? Specifically on gear. I'm saving up for my hike, and would like to know what worked etc.
You two are delightful! Thanks for all the amazing videos, best of luck for your next adventures!
What an awesome surprise to see the second video.
I hope someone asked some gear questions!!
Again, thank you for taking the time to do this. It's appreciated!!
Agree... I was hoping for a gear review as well.
Did you have a physical checkup when you got home with blood workup?
Haha, before I started hiking I wanted to sail around the world and read every book written by those that had dome it single handed.
Wow, where the heck was that wind at the end of the video?
That Oregon Coast can be pretty hardcore! Florence area
Dude, it was 14. ... ... 14.
