it was a gift watching them all....yes, I saw every single episode and even the Q&A. Thank you.... for bringing us all along and keeping it very real. I was sad when it was over....and a little shocked at seeing him all cleaned up without the beard. You guys seem absolutely honest about it all and that is what brought me back to see how you were doing whenever I could. Keep walking....Good luck and thanks again!!! I hope someday to see you again.
I watched 4 channels last year. One sadly went off Trail, HRC on the PCT was a fun Mother/Daughter thru-hike and they were good but there was nothing out there which compared to your channel. The videography and the music made the episodes. There were people referencing you on other channels whilst you were out there and I'm watching 5 this year and 3 have said they were glued to your channel last year. One question that was never answered, and we had an ER Nurse on the Hike 😳😉, what was with Rob's recurring nose bleeds? Anyway. Last year I needed an escape, I couldn't get away, but your channel made me laugh on days I really needed it. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.
Extreme heat in the desert and NorCal caused my nose bleeds. I had a couple at high elevation too. I have always had a tendency to get them though. I estimate I probably had 8 different bloody nose situations on the trail - all in California. I imagine a medical professional might opine I was dehydrated, which couldn’t possibly be true because I was always the most diligent about hydration… like, probably the best example of hydration on the PCT of all time…. ;)
@@HeadingSomewhere thanks for answering Rob, I was worried it was anemia. Especially when you passed out too. I really hope you vlog future small hikes or CDT, AT or for that fact, any hikes. A pleasure to watch and I for one appreciate every bit of editing and mixing you did. I'm not blowing smoke, you two had the best vlog I found in 2021. It will be a hard one to beat. Thanks again for answering.
Thanks for the concern, I have been tested (due to bloody noses) and am not anemic, but a valid thought! That’s interesting that others have reported having watched us last year! Hopefully we were of help to some! Who was it that mentioned that?
@@HeadingSomewhere April all Around for definite and I believe Dogfoot did too. But April was an avid follower like me. They are both out there as we speak.
Oh your videos were spectacular and authentic. So glad you DID vlog but I do appreciate even more how you sacrificed down time to do all that editing. Thanks for doing that.
Thanks for answering my question and making me feel not too bad about all the time that goes into editing a video. It’s kind of mind blowing the editing to play-time ratio. I’m putting together a presentation of my hikes for my parents’ retirement community in a week. Looking forward to telling others about the trail as you have. Happy trails!
I appreciated all the naturalness of the videos, and little staging. Hats off for being able to edit and post while on the hike. I really loved the scenery.
You guys were my favorite couple and I followed you religiously. Thank you for sharing it was fascinating. I lived through your journey because I know I will never do it - not in this lifetime anyway
Since you brought it up, I loved your music joices! Especially the Eddie Vedder music is so amazing...thanks for taking the time to edit your trail experience, the end result is amazing and I enjoyed every single episode of it :)
And thank you for inspiring me to go out and hike more. As a 19 year old german guy in university, getting to the pct is a bit harder but you definitely put it (or another long distance hike) on my bucket list :)
Thanks for your episodes. I’m a couple years away from doing the pct and it was great for my wife to see. Noticed Rob switched packs part way. What happened?
His strap actually ripped a couple of days into the High Sierra stretch. He mended it the best he could to get through that section but it wasn't reliable for the remainder of the hike!
Hello from La Pine, Oregon. Thank you for the great trip, my favorite was Truckee Ca. "is that the trail"? and Rob when your shinsplints got better. I was wondering if it was going to end your hike.
I was very very distressed about that for hundreds of miles. Listened to my body and thought carefully about my gait and kept it healthy enough! I lived in LaPine as a kid on Day Rd. :) -BB
Y’all talking to to the camera is wonderful! It appears like y’all were born in front of the camera….natural, spontaneous, effortless…that is how y’all appeared. I am shocked that y’all don’t feel like y’all were good because y’all were great….kept me hooked ! Y’all also are very attractive people ! Y’all are just sooo cute! Is y’all were to decide to do the AT I live just down the road from Springer Mountain (36 miles) and would be tickled to help y’all out getting on trail.

“Speaker” is back out there, too. He started 1 April I believe.
Best. thing. ever...
to wake up and see a new vid from you guys!

I for one, am very glad you decided to vlog your hike, the vlogs were very well done and enjoyable. Thanks for bringing us along.
We loved watching your adventure! Thanks for sharing with us!
We looked forward to your video updates. They were very well done. Loved the editing together of the each of your viewpoints into a story.

What was the video editing app you used? It was hard to hear. 😢

Oh thank you so much! If we make it out on the AT we would absolutely love that! :-)
I love your videos! Quick question tho, would it kill you to crack a smile? 😂
I don’t know, I might 😂
The best part of your Q&A's?? Looking at your beautiful wife!!
