Tried the instructions that came with my key fobs so many times (unsuccessfully) that I started looking for a hidden camera! Your instructions worked perfectly. Thanks!
Took me several tries but confirmed to work on 06 tundra crew cab limited. The only thing that messed me up was the step before last after turning the key on and off, you remove the keys before pressing both buttons. I was leaving them in the switch until I saw that you took them out. Thanks for the help.
THANK YOU so much....I should have watch your video first. Short of doing the hokey pokey on the other video, it was NOT working!! Took me twice your way, got it on the 2nd try...IT WORKED!!! I'm definitely subscribing your site, will definitely help my 06 Toy T....have a happy Thanksgiving!!!
I watched several videos and I tried this four or five different times with different variations until it finally worked! Thank you! You’re a life saver!
@@KaiMiller I just tried doing what he showed in the video at different speeds. I had a full double cab. If you have an access cab, it might be different
Omg, thank you so much I bought a MET FOB and the instructions were like a mile long. Now I'm going to go try this process and see, instead of paying the dealer more then I'd care too I'm sure. 😉👍

Would this fix a no fuel pressure problem? I have good fuel pump circuit, relay, ground, EFI fuse relay, good Resistor, 13.7 at the ECM now I’m thinking Crank Sensor and someone pointed to the security system to me too. Gonna try it on Monday when I get to the shop, thanks for the video!
Do you have a link to the key fob? I've been searching everywhere and nobody has it and when I find out it doesn't program. can't find one that works. I have an 06 tundra double cab limited 4.7 v8
Hi, Bill. How important is it for the FCC ID's to match...the old/original key fob and the new one I bought online? The online vendor made it sound important that I send them the FCC ID from my original fob, but they sent me a fob that doesn't seem to have a matching ID. So far I haven't been able to get the process to enter the programming mode. I have a 2006 Tundra double cab V8. Thanks for answering.
Not sure about the matching IDs. Cant hurt though. I would expect that if the replacement transmitters are made for your specific model that they would be compatible. My OE Denso transmitter has an FCC ID of HYQ12BBX. The replacement aftermarket transmitter (China) has an ID of 2AOKM-TOY-V2. They both work fine. Hope that helps. I know that the matching process is difficult and takes many tries to work. If in doubt on the transmitter (key fob) you could always get one from your Toyota Dealer.
@@billbergen2817 Thanks for the quick reply! I will give it another shot, or two, after watching your video...which is really clear and helpful. If that doesn't work, I may have to resort to the dealership. I am encouraged since your FCC ID's do not match that perhaps that is not the problem. Fingers crossed!
Hi dear. Please look for a way to program the Center Lock Toyota Sequoia 2002. I have a problem that the ash device does not work. It gives a signal, but it does not lock or unlock the device. Note that all doors operate a manual center lock, please help.
I did this and it kinda worked the first time... Only thing it did cycle twice so I had to redo it. But the next time isn't doing anything! Wonder if anyone knows what it's going on?? 🤔
Hello I have the same 2006 SR5 V8 Tundra doublecab , and I’ve followed these steps exactly more than 10 times but it never goes into programming mode . After you put in the key and turn to on and back to off and pull it out , yours cycles once , mine doesn’t cycle at all to let me know I’m in programming mode . I’ve followed these steps exactly do you know what else can be done ?
I dont know of any alternate methods. I had to do it several times before I got it right. Even then it didn't work on my video first try. As a last resort you could go to a dealership. Good luck.
You might want to try the procedure for the Tundra "without" double cab. My '06 Tundra is an "access cab" and I used the Tundra only instructions. I got my brand new fob programmed on the second try and it works perfectly! I used the Double cab procedure first and it would never enter the program mode, again try the single cab procedure which is a bit different.
@@peterwright4720 I went to www.remotesremotes.com . There are two headings after you enter model, year etc. When you pull down the model column again, you will see Tundra double cab and also just Tundra by itself. After being frustrated with the double procedure I used the latter Tundra only. It programmed right perfectly on the second try. Hope it works for you. There are also other web sights I have not tried but I sure hope this works for you!
I have the exact same vehicle and was told the keyless entry was not standard on this vehicle so I.m wondering if the transmitter is different from the factory installed versions.

The 2007 is a different model. Likely to be a different process. You will need to confirm the exact process. Remember, it doesn't seem to work every time but with a bit of tenacity you will be successful.
