I think it changed after the Pistons and Pacers Brawl especially after Ron Artest (excuse me Metta World Peace) went into the stands and fought a pistons fan.
I’m rewatching the last dance and I looked for this comment because there’s a part where In a story taking place in 87 Reggie had 10 points at half and he says in the interview that he started talking to mike and saying oh your the guy who walks on water and then he only got two in the second half while mike went off. But that doesn’t match the same circumstances as this story cuz it wasn’t an expedition match so I’m confused now
As a kid growing up I idolized MJ like a lot of others. I had this natural hate for the Knicks, Heat, Pacers, Pistons, Celtics, Lakers, ect ect. As an adult I respect the hell out of all of them now. I really miss 80's 90's basketball.
Same except I was a knicks fan, so bulls and pacers were top two rivals. Rivalries mean nothing anymore, teams look completely different from year to year.
80s NBA was SOOO GOOD.. every game was exciting to me as a kid. The bulls killed it for me but it was really the NBA that killed it by making the league stale and soft.. the basketball play has always been great though
I think he's right, the trash talk he did to MJ after is about to piss him off. It' s different, the first time he trashtalked MJ is about questioning his skills
I love the story when Reggie scored 40 points in a high school game. He got in the car with his sister and father and was ready to brag about his game. So he ask his sister how many points she scored in her game. He said, “was it 40, 50, 60?” Their Dad said Cheryl scored 105. Which broke the National high school scoring record.
MrReggie31miller there's multiple times they got caught on film doing it. MJ grabbed Reggie by the face once cause he got into MJ's head and annoyed the f outta him
I am fat. And super ugly. But just because I'm 13 and super hideous doesn't mean he couldn't have taken one/Two hours TOPS to drive me around. Seriously, the nerve.
Why the hell would he give you a ride in his car? What if you were some pissed off fan and tried to hurt him or something crazy like that? It would've been stupid of him to give you a ride
didn't Jordan get in a fight with him in the playoffs one year because of Miller's trash talking? Cool story but defo wasn't the only time he did it to MJ
Reggie Miller is my favorite player of all time. THIS coming from a Pistons fan. But being there when Larry Brown took the time outs and seeing him get the standing ovation he did. That was amazing. Those Piston Pacer games back in the early 00's was FIREEEE
It's not the players fault it's the league's fault for making the game so soft. Players have literally been ejected for laughing too hard & for staring at the ref.
Reggie, I loved your game growing up and I still love your game (commentary/ broadcasting) today. One of the best player to play the game. Thank you Reggie!
I like the Steve Kerr story about his first NBA interaction with Jordan: Kerr's a rookie on the bench and Jordan is dribbling on by the bench where he is. Jordan says to Kerr "hey rookie, watch this", does a crazy spin move and slams it home. And as he's running back down the court he looks at Kerr and just laughs. Classic Jordan - miss that kinda stuff. Players seem so soulless now, all about their 'brand' and their money. Oh well...

Reggie looks like Obamas little brother.
Lol
He seems to have his voice as well...

I was about to say, he looks and sounds like a younger Obama

I love Reggie! What a class act and humble dude! I love how he gives praise to his big sister too. She is an absolute legend! God bless the Millers!
Splash Father
When I watch Curry dominating from beyond the arc, it reminds me of Reggie back in the 90's :)
Ian Baker .don't ever compare curry to Reggie Miller currys not even in the same league
Rodger Green Actually if Reggie weren't retired, they WOULD be in the same league
car1it0sWAY Ray Allen is Splash Uncle.
Rodger Green lol curry already broke a few of his records. They are definitely in the same league. An I grew up in the 90's so I saw em both
Reggie is very funny and always entertaining when playing. His personality really help the game. Good guy.
What I loved about Jordan is when he got pissed he scored more points, no one could get in to his head.
Reggie Miller did when Michael rushed him that one time xd
...and made up stories to get himself p1ssed off LOL...that is how nuts MJ was...But amazingly everyone knew he would go for 50 if he was p1ssed. I recall Phil Jackson saying b4 Knicks game...when MJ was pissed at Van Gundy...that he was going to have a big game....and he went for 50+ lol

Stephen Curry Miller shoved Jordan in the back. That's not getting in someone's head. That's starting a fight.
Reggie Miller got into his head he motivated him to play better.
Here after 'The Last Dance'.

Him and Kobe got into a brawl to remember that? They fell into the score table. Reggie was talking all kinds of shit and still does lol. Great shooter tho
He Shoved Jordan after he came down for a layup.
They did play more than once..
The reason jordan swung at him was in reasons of physical more than verbal. His point was, dont talk shit to MJ, because he gets good.
Ehrens I remember Jordan block the shit out of Reggie when he went for the game winner, that was badass
Cheryl's little brother did alright for himself.
