- Cheryl Miller was the original Caitlin Clark and it came from a very young age. She was raised to be the star she was, and her parents method is explained here.

This is my GOAT right here ! She was just built different
It makes me sick when talk about great players, she isn't first
Cheryl is so Humble
Cheryl & Reggie are living legends that are still great people. Still love seeing them on T.V. to this day.
Cheryl miller was a treat to watch on TV. I consider her my favorite College payer of all time. It was especially meaningful because the McGee twins Pam and Paula played along side her. I grew up with them in Flint, Michigan and it was so awesome when they went to USC. Cheryl played like no one I had ever seen before she was amazing ✨💙💫🤗
Wow. She still looks healthy as ever. 🐐
Cheryl is my favorite Women’s Basketball player of all time 🤍
She’s my favorite NBA commentator of all time. Whenever Reggie dropped a half court jumper she’d chastise the defender about giving her brother layups. It was so cool watching her trash talk about her brother.
Me too! Of all time.
She's still killing Reggie
Question....who taught you to shoot?
Answer.... wasn't Reggie 😂😂❤
People are talking about Caitlin Clark like she is the all time great, but Cheryl Miller once scored 100 points in a game. I think Caitlin Clark is an outstanding basketball player, but there were others who came before her who captured our attention. Cheryl Miller is in the basketball hall of fame.
It’s ok to talk about Caitlin Clark. Cheryl hasn’t played in over 30 yrs …….you act like you haven’t watched basketball since. Caitlin is elite it’s ok to celebrate her.
Why is there a need to compare them. Why can't they just both be outstanding players.
Yes I love Miller and what she has meant to women's basketball, but why make this comparison? Different eras, appreciate both why not. There wasnt even a wnba in Miller day so the young folks will flock to Clark because shes her now.
@@Jbcomedystl All he's saying is that before you could just hop on-line and gush over something 'in the moment', there's an entire generation that essentially has been overlooked, especially if you're under that 30 year old mark you've mentioned. It's OK to celebrate Cheryl and the ladies even before her time that weren't even on scholarship too.
I’m a Catlin Clark fan but it seems people forgot Cheryl miller mya Moore Diana turrossi Lindsey Whalen Candice Parker etc etc as if they was just tomato cans
Love Cheryl’s candidness. She and Reggie are all times greats!👏
Cheryl Miller is my G O A T. I think she could have played in the N B A - that's how good I think she was. Perhaps, the W N B A should have a trophy/award in her honor, like the Bill Russell award/trophy for the N B A Championship Trophy 🏆. Who's out there agree with me?
agree
Stop no she could not even with her immense ability. She was a forward at 6/3 did not have rhe athleticism to effectively compete with men in the NBA.
Agree.
@@anegril1 I hear ya! However, to each his own. Peace, love and good health to you , and continue watching women's sports. Reply from the beautiful, tranquil Islands of The Bahamas 🏝️🌅🏖️🇧🇸
Oh my bad. My agree was to a 🏆 in her honor.
Of course she could not have played against Charles Oakley and Hakeem and the NBA monsters of the time.
However, she did drop a hundo on mfr's so there's that. Lol
I want to see women's professional sports grow. That is a difficult journey by itself without ignorance and hatred.
Peace and Love.
I saw this entire interview when it camee out, Cheryl miller is very entertaining
Cheryl is awesome! 😊❤
Reggie and Cheryl look like twins, they even have the same mannerisms.
The absolute GOAT of women's basketball. A legend. Caitlyn, could never!!!
She used to shop at an establishment I worked, probably still does: wonderful wonderful lady.
I loved watching them play!
And that is the problem now, parents want to be “liked” instead of being a task master and doing what needs to be done. It’s ok to be an “a-hole” to your children. Because life will be an “a-hole” to your children wether you like it or not.
I agree w/you whole heartedly. Parents want to be their children's friend. What they don't realize is that their children WANT & NEED parents. They'll have friends outside of their home.
You’re really making a very general statement. Many kids today are being raised fine. My kids, four in all have turned out much better than I ever was. Mostly because I raised them much differently than my parents raised me.
@@mtadams2009, you can say it’s general but I work in the school system and I know what I see. No discipline and a lot of kids not being scolded in public.
Depends if you want to raise soldiers or leaders. I'm definitely the task master and my kids had scholarships, but we also spoke things out for full understanding before punishment was dished. This taught them to think logically vs act emotionally.

Cheryl Miller - 🐐 ❤
That communications major sure comes in handy.
Knows how to deal with the camera
Why is she NOT a coach, analyst, TV personality? How are people like Joy Taylor, Malkia Andrews and Kimberly Martin ALL OVER TV and Cheryl Miller (a Hall of Famer) not on TV?|
she is on tv
@@tommyfu9271 she IS NOT on TV to the degree the 3 dingbats I named are.
@@lkpeay ok but that's a lot different than what you originally said. i've heard her announce plenty of tnt nba and college games.
@@tommyfu9271 she is hardly ever on TV…
I was wondering that as well. Cheryl was analyst back in the day, but then suddenly disappeared.
Definitely aheaad of her time. Truly the GOAT OF HER ERA!! And Awards and Schools or Sports Academies should have her name on them.
I would have love to seen a Reggie & Cheryl type of reality show.
Great interview ❤
Love Cheryl. So confident and likable at same time. I always heard she was the female 🐐 and assumed she was very skilled but, good lord she was so athletic. True alpha. Before LaVar, came the Miller dad/general. What a family.
Cheryl is the GOAT. Full Stop. Do your homework, youngsters.
I grew up on the East side of Riverside and her HS was our rival, though she's like 13 years older. My neighborhood wasn't anything like Mayberry in the late 80s-early 90s but she grew up in a bit of a nicer neighborhood that seemed farther away then than it actually was. A mile back then seemed like 5 miles now.
Love 💞 Cheryl Miller
I first began watching women’s basketball because of Cheryl Miller.
STILL CANT BELIEVE THEY CALLED HER 6 DAYS BE FOR THE ALLSTARS GAME & DID’NT PAY HER ONE RED CENT BEYOND SHAMEFUL!!!!!
JC was special! He was a messenger from God himself!!
She was the women's GOAT for years
Cheryl and Reggie you're the best, fantastic basketball players 🏀🏆💯
That's how you become a very good ball player. This should be heard by anyone who doesn't understand dedication.
My girl!!!
Looks better older than when she was playing. Talks like her brother and looks like him.
I was saying the same thing before I saw your comment
Cheryl is a capricorn. If you tell us we can't do something, we are going to do it and do it better than imaginable! GOAT
Cheryl is my goat…
Went to junior high and high school with Reggie and Cheryl, Riverside Poly High, they both were great athletes, at that level Cheryl was the bomb more so than Reggie !!
The goat 🐐 🙌 😎
She’s my favorite woman’s basketball player of all time, and all I know is she won national championships at USC, while her brother didn’t for the FUCLA bRuins…..✌🏻
little known fact- Reggie and Cheryl have a brother Darryl who played in the major leagues for a few years.
She was better then the guys growing up
GWOAT 🐐
Her dad said she was way better than Reggie
Reggie played in the nba she did not
She stilled crushed Reggie now imagine if she was in NBA.
@@johnmarshall4399 And Cheryl Miller helped him to get there. He will tell you that.
I love to watch Clark play but Miller is the greatest ever. Any female that can beat her brother that ended up in the NBA hall of fame is special
Someone who grew up in a traditional 2 parent family and turned out to have a good life. Maybe we should support and encourage traditional 2 parent families...
5:50 Those women of Troy! Cheryl, cherie Nelson, tina thompson, the Mcgee twins, now JuJu.....tradition
Yes. Please talk about Cheryl and the accomplishments made at USC with the McGee twins and Cynthia Cooper. Please stop the hype with Caitlin Clark. Cheryl was legend and gets no love.
Cheryl Miller is without a Doubt the Greatest Female Basketball Player of All- Time !!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful killer, Miss 100 points.
Cheryl used to beat Reggie until he was in a junior in high school.
if she played today she would smoke em ALL.......!!!!
The REAL womens GOAT
Cheryl
Reggie Miller was not a March Madness legend.
I lived in LA in 1987 and EVERYONE out there was looking forward to either UCLA or UNLV to win the national championship.
That didn't happen because Fennis Dembo lit him up for 41 in the Wyoming win and Indiana outran UNLV in the Final Four.
Wonderful family speaks to many who grew up in a very racist California outside of local neighborhoods
❤👑
Parents back in the day compared to these kids parents today some of them on to much drugs and no professions.
Cheryl miller might be the best basketball player ever. And I hate the WNBA
Greatest troll . Trolled Reggie with a 100 point game you see his spirit beig crushed Reggie i scored 40 im going be on TV Cheryl i scored 100 in 3 quarters. Reggie i hate you😂
Competition much harder now in woman basketball but still impressive
Love her but Cheryl looks rough. Is she ok?
🤔 You buggin...
She looks great at 60.
@@SeshatPG82 💯☝🏾
She bullied Reggie
He let her. He didn’t let it fester and destroy his life. There’s much love between them.
Reggie spent his whole life getting 1 uped by his big sis.
True story....I love Cheryl! I always thought she was a class act and a great ambassador for basketball and women's athletics. Meanwhile I can't stand Reggie. I wanted to fight that dude. I can't stand to see his face, or hear his voice.
Reggie Miller played the Blind man on Uncle Drew , Hopefully theirs not lots of driving around can't see , trying to Run people over ?
Why do people fabricate so much? If her dad was active military and a part time musician, they weren’t financially struggling unless they weren’t budgeting correctly. Our people get cornered into the same old third party stories of hardship instead of celebrating a glorious upbringing. Two of his children made it to the pros and she’s discrediting him in derogatory fashion. Unbelievable!!!-Godspeed!
Because you know better than her
@@collonturnage3637 -Actually it’s because I know better than to believe everything that I hear. Gullible people like yourself will absorb other peoples tales and suffer their falsehoods to live vicariously through them. Cheryl is trying to still stay relevant, she is using storylines(fabricated) because her basketball career is long gone. This process and formula has been repeated by many other former athletes. Sad stories pull on peoples heartstrings. Many times they are contrived and make victims of other people as well as the narrator of the story. Lying or fabricated truth prepetrated against your dead parents is foul behavior coming directly out of a persons mouth. Disrespectful in many ways.-Godspeed!
Lip sync.
Wow. She hasn't aged well at all.
Let see you at 60 my brotha. You don’t know what she may be dealing with 🤫
The Miller family is awesome
Riverside!!!!
