    I have this same bike sitting in my garage with ZERO miles on it..
    About another 6 weeks till weather here in the northeast turns and roads get cleaned up.
    I feel like I’ve rode now!

    I did the same thing. Had the bike one day and was taking a picture, and it fell over. My heart broke!!! I now always leave it in first gear and no further issues.

    I have a 2022 black/gold model. Always come to a stop, put the kick stand down in gear. Never an issue with tip over. That was painful to watch.

    I’ve only been a GSXr 750 & liter rider yet have always appreciated the ‘busa for both its historical notoriety and what it is when witnessing a few of my homeboys ride them 🔥

    I have a Gen 2 bike and within a few days of ownership the bike fell over in the garage. I could and probably did cry my eyes out. However, once you’ve dropped your baby like this you NEVER forget so I am extra careful when out and about and always put her in 1st gear when on the stand. I also carry a small puck to help with any doubtful road or gravel surface. Owning a Busa is quite special. Alongside my 1250 GSA BMW the finish and standard of workmanship on the Busa is in a different league. Like comparing a Timex with a Rolex. Greetings from London.

    As a Hayabusa owner there’s never ever ever any time I don’t one make sure the ground she’s on is leaning the right direction then check and re check that one the stand is in the correct extended position but as well as leave in 1st gear and rolled foward so it can never have the chance of doing this.. was horrible to see.. sorry for this .. wasn’t a cheap one .. nice bike

When a person is an accomplished writer and knows what it takes to operate a bike properly can appreciate the machine and then we listen to you you nail it you absolutely nailed it thank you very much for your complete analysis on this bike or any other bike for that matter appreciate very much excellent video I sure want to get a Hayabusa I'm 62 I deserve one I just need to build my cash up because right now I'm driving at a 2006 FZ6 which I love dearly the bike is an absolute charmer with a stock exhaust give you fairing and give me saddlebags Ciao Bello

    • @aluisious
      @aluisious 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What a weird problem. I've dropped my Multi twice, not the fault of the kickstand. Both times I was on an unfamiliar road and dumped it trying to stop to take pictures on the side of an uneven road.

  • @Jay_Michael
    @Jay_Michael 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

    Has anyone found a good alternative to the side stand? I've heard of issues while in neutral on any sort of Incline she wants to go down. That's the first time I've seen it.. that was hard to watch brother. I have the 23 Grey and red one. I'm in love ❤️ 😊

      @alexandrenogueiradasilva7983 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Mine (also a 23 grey and red) went down less than a week into ownership! My tip is to never park it in a decline surface, if you have to, put it in gear and go forward till it hits the gear. Slight inclines are ok.

      Nothing wrong with the stand - pure carelessness … dont leave it on incline in neutral and stand not clicked in position . Its bloody common sense !!! i have had 5 Busas ( all 3 generations) - it has never fallen.

    • @Chaals

      Here’s the solution: never park any bike in neutral. Always park it in gear, there’s no reason to leave it in neutral… just like a manual car.

    There is a Hardly Davisin Dealership representative at Wesley Chapel Hardly Davisin that claims this exact year Hayabusa is extremely uncomfortable, that it causes severe back pain. Can you imagine? These Hayabusas are known for their ability to tour cross-country.

      Use your brain. They would have said the same thing about any sports bike cuz they don’t ride or follow them, so Harley riders are not aware of the differences between the models.
      I have embarrassed a few Harley riders by showing them how to sit on a sport bike properly and to keep their hands (virtually, I’m not a Pro) weightless.
      Most people don’t even know how to sit on a sports bike properly.🙌🏻🦾☝🏻🏍️😇🙏🏻

    Daily Motor, let's say that I wanted to install a 5.5" or 6" TFT display and replace the display that comes with the bike. Is there an actual way of doing that with this bike? Lastly, California or places like it(like Hawaii for example), are notorious for stopping motorcycle riders even if they are riding within the speed limit..

    My bike isn't quite as fast at the peak as the Hayabusa. My 16 Multistrada makes "only" 150 or 160 HP, depending on whether you believe Ducati's marketing. All I know is it's fast as hell and shifting is mostly about making it more calm on the highway than anything you need to do to keep accelerating. I could pin the throttle and row the gears on a 600 regularly, but on a 1200+, not really. They're probably all just kind of faster than you know what to do with.

As i understand in most USandA this is not legal for whatever stupid reason. Well - in rest of the workd has more important issues to be concerned with - bikes filtering through are good for bikers and society in general in cities as it reduces congestion
