I have them :)) fully stripped them and removed the middle catalyst, and the dbkillers . Had fitted unrestricted headers matching the fitment with them. All that headache, time and money just because I love the look of them but not the sound. Now they are perfect. If anyone want to do what I done think twice as it’s not a easy process.
This Busa sounds awesome. And that looks way cleaner. I love it
I've never been a fan of the Busa's looks. The Akrapovic you removed seemed to fit the looks quite well. Losing 40lb is huge.
🎉🎊HAPPY NEW YEAR CHRIS🎊🎉
Great stuff as always. I'm sure your time is far too valuable to be doing this, just so greatly appreciate you doing it for the content!
Sounds so sick! And looks clean af on it!🔥🔥
That thing looks pretty darn good i must admit! Never really been a 'busa fan but i like this!
Great job Chris
Much better! Those slip on’s were just glorified stock mufflers lol. I got that exact brocks system waiting to put on my zx14👍🏻. Coming your way this spring, can’t wait!
It must have been the dual set up.
My K6 GSXR 600 nearly 20yrs ago, with aftermarket Akropovic slip on (plus velocity stacks,) sounded EXACTLY like this one here on the Busa.
*Miss that bike; RIP.
That sounds fantastic
Nice. Missed you guys at the winter nationals California. Covid sucks.
Thank you #mooremafia for this Busa Content ❤️✊🤩🙏🔥🤘🏝️📸
My Kind of Exhaust for my ZH2❤lovit
A bike as bad-ass as a Hyabusa shouldn't sound like a freaking Ford Tauris!!! Let that baby "Growl and Snarl"!!
You’re right about that, especially since I own a Taurus SHO.
Who spends $2600 on a set of slipons in the first place? Just NUTS......
Sounds good👍👍👍👍👍
What rip at 2600 bucks . 😮
Akrapovic full Ti system single canister is $1700 but then your Busa exhaust looks like a CBRRR, ZX10, R1s.. the mufflers look exactly the same .. anything is better than a Brocks .. gheez what a crook.. use much racing fuel Brock babycakes .. his ears are burning..
Yes 😂😂
@@carlmayer691Akrapovic full system for gen3 is not full ti, headers stainless and only canister ti.
Lookin just fine 😎
In most European countries, it is prohibited to have a full Brocks exhaust. However, the Akra is approved. It's why I keep an old Suzuki B King with a Devil exhaust that sound quite similar to this Brock.
Brock’s,let that bike breathe sounds great!!! More hp for sure!!
Hey Chris, oh I see now this is what we’ve talking about. Gotcha, I’m using the discount code for my Brocks. #mooremafia✊
I recommend that the silver “V” pieces on the fairings get changed out to the 2024 gloss black that come on the new busas.
I have a busa 2015 and I like the dual , by any chance did you have any headers to used with the dual exhaust ?
2:30 Pure Dyson! 🤣💀
That exhaust sounds badass. Where is your shop located out of. And do you work on sand King sand rails with a busa engine.
Gen3 busa doesn't need the clutch pulled down in order to start the engine?
U just made that busa into a BUSA!
what has happen to the before and after bhp videos? this is just a advert 5% off
That Akra has catalytic converters to be Euro 5 compliant. Of course it's going to be quiet. The single canister Akra is louder and cheaper than $2600
CHRIS!, man I love that exact exhaust system, but what would make it 100% better for me if it was dual. I emailed Brocks Performance and they told me they don't make one for a 2023 or 2024 Hayabusa and told me to talk to their r&d department, can u guys get make that exact exhaust dual!???? I want u guys to do the work for me if u can. Thanks
Hy Chris, I would like to ask if this slip-on exhaust requires air-fuel adjustment (ECU flash)( with decibel-killer... here in French obligatory) ?? There are many contradictions. Half of them say that it is not necessary, the other half says that it is necessary.
Wao back in 2005 thru 2008 I bought like 5 of those brocks alien head full system for $850 each for my bikes for zx10 gsxr 1000 zx14 best header made period
I personally feel these companies sit in an office and say “let’s make these mufflers $2600 and see if some idiot pays that even though it only cost us $100 to make them. Oh crap someone ACTUALLY bought them! Set the price!” These products cost so much because people are willing to pay the ridiculous prices. Hopefully he can sell those cans to recoup a fraction of what he paid
Waiting for a V-strom 800 flash and tune!
The hayabusa has always been gorgeous but man the Gen 3 😮💨😮💨😮💨
That Brocks sounds so much better than those $2600 paper weights 😂😂
agreed brocks is the way to go
Bro if possible please make some more Street riding contents on a Hyperbusa OG and Hyperbusa 2.0.
A fool and his money are easily parted.😂
I rode a tuned one of these gen 3s and I tell you what they hide their weight so well
Looks and sounds much better. The ECU was flashed. The customer should've asked for a tune with the new full system. Right?
He used a baseline tune for the full system. Just not a complete dial in via Dyno tune, but it's close.
Did I see a can am in the background and when will you start turning ATV’s🙏?
I was bitchin saying 400 was too much for a slip on for mybike I'm so glad I went for full dual exhaust sounds so good I paid 1200 for a stainless it's everything I wanted. Fuck slip ons.
Night and day difference for the BETTER! May I ask, why is this a single sided exhaust and not dual? Is it weight savings? Looks odd without dual pipes.
@mooremafia would be awesome you you did a video on your dad and how your family grew onto motorcycle business.. that would be sick
Perfer a header with a two brothers slip on sounds amazing on a 600 rr that bike looked like a BMW touring with that dual set up
Two brothers 😂 are junk the quality is terrible and there not exactly cheap either
I don’t want a hayabusa but I really want a hayabusa.
In Germany isn’t legal this beautiful system😭😭😭
A friend of me in greece they call it water heaters slip ons because same size 🤣🤣
What's up with Akro and their prices these days? Holy crap the full titanium exhaust on my 02 Aprilia Mille Haga replica was not much more than those slip-ons back in the day.
2600 for slip ons in mental
All it needs now is the custom cams and velocity stacks.
yeahhhh....
Not sure that either one would add any appreciable HP.. only at the top end .. reach peak HP than 800 more rpms and your at the rev limiter.. Waste of money, especially the velocity stacks.. remember every gain is measured at the rear wheel.. any gains at the crank are subjected to parasetic losses .. which are 15-17% A claimed 150 hp at the crank gives you about 134 ish at the rear wheel. So given that, how much seat of the pants rwhp can velocity stacks give you.. NONE ! Gimmick baloney unless you have a fully built motor larger TBs, airbox.. etc.. It's all gimmicky .. until you get into software .. this is where Chris is a really good . he seems to get a bit more HP out of the base aftermarket IIRC Woolwiches software parameters ...the rest is sound and bling
@@carlmayer691 I have HTP velocity stacks, Brock’s CT Full System, Moore Mafia ecu flash and Sprint P08 air filter on my ‘22 Busa. Cams is my next mod because my ‘23 GSXR-1000 with Carbon Smith velocity stacks, Brock’s CT Megaphone Full System, Moore Mafia ecu flash and Sprint P08 air filter will drag the shit out of it. My question is are the cams really worth the cost and will there be much or any gain for the investment or the long term reliability on the engine. I don’t drag race anymore, just ride and play on the street.
@@carlmayer691you do more talking than you do actually saying anything. Velocity stacks make a lot of sense. It makes the engine respond better at the top of the rpm range. Exhaust evacuates the exhaust gases out of the engine without government restrictions.
I've been following the development of the aftermarket goods for the 3rd gen Hayabusa on this channel. Also I watch Brock's Performance when he has product development and dyno sessions to share.
The top end is where this model falls off peak. Why? Lack of volumetric efficiency with the OEM throttle body lengths (pulse frequency favoring lower RPM) and mild cam profiles (pleasing Euro5 bureaucrats). Both of these issues cannot be overcome with OEM hardware. You can tune the ever living potatoes out of it and you'll be hindered by a lack of efficient air flow north of around 9k RPM.
Brock's exhaust, Sprint filter, ECU flash with OEM stacks and cams, vs. all the same mods + cams + shorter stacks = 30 horsepower recovery at 11,000 rpm and a longer flatter peak of the power curve. There is a TINY loss of ultimate power in the mid range but that's about 1-2 horsepower and you won't even notice that on the street.
Reliability? I think it's proven how durable and overbuilt the Hayabusa engine is. Certainly the Hyper Busa is fully built to take the increased pressure and power but the stock engine is plenty strong. One of Suzuki's statements about the 3rd gen engine was increasing durability.
The people that study cam profiles, do the R&D work to modify lift and duration, aren't doing something that will damage the engine. In fact even if you rode the bike at 11,000 RPM down the interstate in 6th gear, burned through a new rear tire, drained an entire tank of fuel without ever letting off the throttle (if the police cleared the entire way), the Hayabusa would just yawn at you. There's no durability issues whatsoever. Run quality synthetic oil, appropriate octane fuel, and you're good.
Maybe the $$ isn't worth the VS and cams, but that's up to you. Depends on how much you like the top end RPM or use the top end.
What is the price of "Yoshimura R-77 (Black)" slip-on exhaust for 3rd Gen Hayabusa.....?
about 1600US. I was looking at the akra factory ones but they literally make the same sound as the stock ones and they are insanely expensive. Almost 3 grand euros in europe, that's ~3300 USD. I'm getting the yoshi R77 as well, it's not even that loud with yoshimura since it still has the central cat
If he wants to sell those used slip ons let him know I’ll give $400 cash
So much of a difference.. could hear in the beginning, but now nothing..😅😅😅.😂😂
I'm very sorry because in Italy all these modifications are absolutely prohibited and we are obliged to use the totally original motorbike otherwise we risk the seizure of the motorbike and very expensive fines. I envy your wonderful country, totally free and democratic and full of fantastic things.😂😂😂👍👍
You should have done a horsepower comparison between the 2 exhaust systems and see which one makes more power
Do you also do a ride test ? Show that…..
Shoulda shown the power differences between the 2 ??
CM$ 🤙🏾🙏🏾✌🏾
But your Brocks exhaust is not euro5 emission safe. You have to run a exhaust with a catalytic converter in europe. The Akrapovic exhaust is made for the european market. If you want it loud and nasty there is a titanium race exhaust from Akrapovic for maximum performance.
Not every country in Europe is super strict here in Ireland there no problem putting a full system on your bike removing all emissions controls no test etc 😊
The Brocks exhaust is the biggest power maker from all the testing I’ve seen. The fit and finish is also really good.
@@K-carbon Is the bike then technically still road legal? If you remove the cat in germany the bike is not longer street legal, the operating permit for your bike is is gone. If the police notice that the bike is not operating with a ECE or an ABE proven exhaust without permission from TÜV you will get a nice 90€ Fitnessstudio and a so called "point in Flensburg" If you have "collectet" 8 points in Flensburg they take away your driving licence. And you can get points for any kind of shit you doin on your vehicle.
@@dounutmitkaffee2777That’s crazy. Is it more for noise reduction or emissions? Or both? In the States it varies by state. Some like California are pretty strict and similar to what you described I think. I’m in Ohio though and there’s absolutely no emissions or dB level testing here. The cops don’t seem to care either, maybe unless being really obnoxious with the loudness at night or something. I have a sheriff that lives almost right across the street from me who has never said a word about my loud ass bike with Brock’s exhaust.
@@screennamenottaken2 For both, emissions and noise. Die vehiclenoice ist written down in the papers of the car/bike/ truck/ tractor even there you have to look for that the new exhaust pass the emissions and The noise tests. Manufacturer like Remus, Akrapovic etc. have to test the exhaust systems for emissions and noise regulations. If they pass they get a certificate of approved testing and you as customer now that this exhaust or any other type of performance mod ist testet, passed the test and ITS street legal. You can buy stuff thats not street legal Install it etc. but the the operating permission for the vehicle ist gone and its no longer street legal.
I cant believe someone would actually pay that kind of money for a black pair of stock slip ons.
Why does that exhaust look too close to the foot peg
This is not a sound of hayabusa, try Black Widow pipes from UK, it si like riding on A-10 and from three to four is special : }
2600$ for slip ons you would have to be insane to buy them when you can buy a whole system for half the cost
2600 fpr the same sound basically 😮😢
Those slip on are expensive because they have cats in in each one.
I love this acrap they are look awesome!! Ok they are very quite exhaust but here in Greece you cant have loud exhaust the police gives you 100 euros ticket and they take your license and the bike papers for two months and you must go to KTEO to chek your bike to not make noise and then they give you a paper to give it to the police to take your license and the bike papers back!
That is hands down the most expensive & waste of money for slip-ons ever. A Brocks full exhaust for half the price, & it's a lighter.
2 pipes is too much weight.
is it just me or these under belly exhausts really look weird....
i like it sideways....
Only flex is it says “AKRAPOVICH” on it. Only benefit is cool factor. But at that price you’re just showing everyone that you make bad choices.
2600 hundred for stock sound 😂😂
Believe the point maybe to be legal...but not weight an ass ton?
2600 hundred..holy crap no way..if it doesn't make hp don't bother..
My 2022 Kayabusa is totally original and I honestly don't like it, I would have liked to put a modification on it with Turbo and everything else but in the country where I live it is absolutely forbidden so I'm really pissed off
I’d never do a dual slip. 4-2-1 all day
I LIKE the hp gains of the Penta-Carbon FULL system but, I prefer the gentle sporty smooth purr of that Akra sys. PLUS, my hearing "matters". A lot of ppl DON'T know: As you age and punish your ears with disregard, whatever hearing you lose, It's GONE. It ain't comin' back. You cannot "recover" hearing loss. So, be careful boyz. 👂 or 🦻, it's your call. -😉
Sounds mean.
Absolutely not worth 2600 big ones, full system everytime !
I don't like the short brocks exhaust stack. They are pig magnets too.
Have you thought about doing a Harley Davidson drag bike?
For 2600$ it better out last the bike
Sexy sound no doubt, what a rip off, lolz
The Akrapovics are expensive but bike looked and sounded much better than after the modification.
$2600 for the look lol
Does look good though lol
Love the sound of the Brock's but they look absolutely crap....
$2600 for slip ons??? 😮😮😮
Sound like he got some chinese akrapovic knock offs.
I don’t like the look of that brock system. Yoshimura is the way to go for busa.
Well the brocks will give you more power over all but the yoshimura is very good too not as noisy either
Yup, Yoshi's the ticket on a Suzuki. There's a reason they've been racing and winning together for 40 years.
Acrapovic is as bad as Yoshi shit exhaust lol
I'm sorry the gains from an exhaust are joke no matter the company. Especially for 20% of the bikes cost in some cases. Most modern bikes gain everything they are gonna gain by getting a 1-200 dollar link pipe to delete the cat box.
Akropivic is the most overpriced garbage in the world. They super expensive and stuck in the early 90’s with their stupid ass 3’ long mufflers. All their exhausts are waaaaay too long and have garbage sound.
What a waste of cash for the AK garage
I'd rather be different have a Akrapovic duals W/O the baffles ... looks like the duals have removable baffles .. If you can afford to have a shop like Moores install your performance shit, do it. nothing beats picking your ride up after a map and exhaust upgrade .. For a second I thought Brocks brainwashing wore off Chris... then... nope back to Brocks. A full Ti Akrapovic "race" system for the Busa is $1,700.. Brocks SS full is $1,600 --the diff is Akrapovic is honest about their RWHP gains, Brocks isn't...ask yourself who has the experience and the capability to build a better exhaust system -Akrapovic or Brocks.. It's Akra.. ..if you like the cookie cutter ubiquitous everybody has one Akra full system .. looks the same as the one they offer for the CBRRR, R1, ZX10...then a $1,700 dirt cheap full Ti and carbon is a deal.. In the end it's the manufacturer that build the best exhaust system present day.. the diff is mapping... you get a great exhaust system OEM the overwhelming majority of the time, unless it has welded in cat box .. It's the mapping that makes the POWER...
absolutely right. these slip ons are homologated for road use in European market and they have catalytic converters inside of them in order to pass emissions etc. and for a bike that costs 30k, a 2k exhaust system from akrapovic is a great price. and the manufactures have amazing knowledge and R&D spent to make new bikes with stricter emissions and regulations, yet they put down more and more power than the outgoing models. so even with the oem headers, a good tune can transform a bike from good to great.
Why do so many drag racers run Brock’s then? 😂 where’s your proof he fudged dyno numbers? Sounds like you’re just hating
@@los2133 who runs brocks? The 20% of Americans in drag racing?😂
@@TheRealBhuadoquite a bit more than 20% .
Judging from your rhetoric on emissions in the EU I’d say you’ve drank the Koolaid on overreaching governmental regulations so I’d say any actual intellectual convo would be menial at best with you. Not to mention my original comment was not even to you LOL. I will say this though, “he without sin shall cast the first stone”
Cheers m8
@@los2133 absolutely paste eater.
