After last week's heavy episode, it's time to relax and watch part three, where we cover Kenny Anderson's rise from a reluctantly sponsored Vegas local to "your favorite skater's favorite skater."
We talked with Kenny about learning under Brian Lotti and Chris Miller, riding for Planet Earth until the very end, and how artist Marc Johnson made his mark on Girl and Chocolate. Enjoy!

10:15 - i feel like the word marc johnson is looking for is literally chocolate. it's smooth and it's got flavor. one of those perfect brand names that fits the vibe exactly.
I'm sure that right now every young buck is extremely pumped on their life. An their experiences and that's dope!! But I have to say growing up in the late 90s starting in like 89 and coming to age in like 1999-2000.... experiencing skateboarding in my late teens or early twenties was amazing. I wouldn't trade it.
☮️
Loved Kenny's shoes for adio back in the day.
That's cool that Chris Miller was the guy on his walls, Kenny Anderson was the guy on my walls growing up and the shoes I skated for years, he's still one of my favorite skaters today. Love Adio, Kenny Anderson, Chocolate, and Jerry Hsu forever, you guys are the best.
Yeah Right is still my favorite video of all time. So many MVPs and superstars involved in that production.
fun to see this kind of stuff and be like "oh yeah, right here is around the time I started getting into it." the era of 411. One of my first boards that I really remember was a kenny anderson planet earth board my parents bought me from play-it-again sports.
Gepetto 411 was the shit.
Man, sometimes i wish i started skateboarding instead of rollerblading

@@worwor1721 lmao, even a roller blader insult to skaters is absolutely whack.
@@mikeschmidt4800 huh?
@@mikeschmidt4800 it wasn’t an insult you mong
I wish I could backside 180 to nose manual
Another awesome episode. I love these documentaries. So real. So much flavor.
Darn good episode! Thank you for posting
MY FIRST BOARD WAS A PLANET EARTH BOARD. LATER ON I GOT THE KENNY ANDERSON ADIOS, WHAT A FUCKING COINCIDENCE
those skate clips in the last few seconds were amazing
there boards are amazing they have such a gifted team in all aspects of the company
Great series.
This makes me wish i won the contest they set up, dream right there! Seeing ones art on boards distributed around the world is a dream!
Girl/Chocolate boards would be my favorite again if they went back to having their boards made in america. Cause they suck now, all I skated when I was a lil kid was dlx & girl wood. Then I noticed Girl wood started chipping & breaking on me faster. I figured it out on my own they were being made with cheaper materials. So I've been skating dlx since then. It's been about 8 or 9 years.
Văn Trần Same shit the last Girl deck I had was a Malto board like 5 years ago and same shit it chipped and was destroyed so easily. Now I ride an element Nyjah pro model and it’s actually a really good board
.. same Canadian mapple veneers. Same Mexicans press the boards. Same climate, same glue. Same boards. You just changed broth. Girl and chocolate always was soggy. It was just that all the best people where on there so it felt more superior
this is interesting, keep it up vice.
Got to party with this dude both times I saw him in twin cites and he was super cool. Much skillz this man posses
Watching Kenny skate, it looks like he is riding on air.
First ever like legit skate shoes I had were Kenny Anderson’s Adios ah I loved them!
Caleb Hogue Adios Amigos!!!
You need to do one on Kenny Anderson and Brian Lotti individually. I also like how Kenny keeps saying it's 14 years later but Now and Later came out in 91.
all ive got in Scotland is an abandoned car park with pish stained mattresses to ollie over
Something is something.
Kickflip over a haggis
All you need
**24 years later Kenny ... lol
I'm going to Familias 20 years of chocolate show tonight. KA is gonna be there, so hyped :)
Kenny is the best.
Shoutout to all the keyboard warriors hating on skating. Ignant. People hate what they don't understand. Roll forever :)))))))
Damn ! I've had one of Kenny's pro model deck from planet earth .... In the early 2000's .... One of the best i skated 'till my best friend broke it .... :)

What happened to Justin Eldridge?? He looks different but I can't put describe how
MikEanatic I think he was injured around the time this was filmed so he looks kinda fat and outta shape.
You guys need Jason Adams.
Glad Kenny got out of Vegas. It is not a place for young people who have any dreams. It's for old people who are way past their prime, that's what I see.
what a very simple way of looking at things..
8th xd
this was a pretty poor documentary, I'd of been more interested to know why planet earth went under rather than hear various skaters say how stoked they were about various tours and vids
+ghostyfish dude its a video about Chocolate, the best company ever
To all the haters, name one other sport/lifestyle that has no racism, no sexism and no excluding others?
deepns None? Not even skateboarding is immune to bigotry. Some people are shitheads, some shitheads skate.
Hip hop welcomes all.
Porn
MackinShizzaveli #WeWasCavemen You could argue that hip-hop/rap has always been inherently homophobic and sexist/misogynistic. Although it seems like the new wave of the genre has definitely improved in that sense. It's a lot more tolerant and accepting now among the younger crowd than it was back then or with the "old heads" lol
I thought this series was actually about chocolate. Much disappointment ;(
Skateboarding is dumb.
