It's always interesting to see what skaters do after their time is up in professional skating, and the difficulties they face entering the real world. We tracked down Chocolate alumni everywhere from weed dispensaries to auto body shops to real estate firms. In the final Chocolate episode, we tried to tie up all the loose ends and take a look at the future of the team. We also caught up with some of the Trunk Boyz and went to East LA with Vincent.

+RC Codes In his last video about his situation he kind of blamed everyone else. He might have been talking more about converse burning him. He had a lot of major sponsors that all just dropped him, can't be a coincidence--all for probably the same reason.

Amazing series. The insight, the stories and the over all in depth feel of really, a time less skateboard brand with a timeless team.
But holy shit, did Pappalardo almost take liability for his falling out with a sponsor- instead of blaming everyone else?!?!
Marc is so smart and isn’t afraid of saying it, drugs are really the link of all those pros that got kicked off or left. Really in any professional sport, addiction accounts for almost all top athletes falling out.

VICE dudes, I've got so much respect for you! You bring up all the behind the scenes of what we used to hipe on back in the days when I was saving my lunch money for new sk8board. So many great memories. Thank you and keep doing what you're doing it means alot!

I moved on about 10 years ago. I'm now 33 years old,happily married and with three beautiful kids. It hit me when I was about 22 years old or so, I was skating my usual skate spot and no one was there, early in the morning. I warmed up had my cup of coffee with some Jim beam in it lol and all was going good when I decided to go for the usual 8 stair handrail and do my favorite grind trick which is a crook. Truck slipped out about half way and slipped out and landed on my ass hard and made me slam the back of my head. I laid there for about 10 minutes in the floor, in pain, thinking wtf I'm I doing with my life. So I put the board away for some time. I still mountain biked so I still had something to fall back on, something with adrenaline. Like I said I'm now 33 years old and I picked up the board again and dam it feels good. It's been about 4 months and I still semi got it lol, no big gaps nor hand rails. But still got it. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I regretted that I stopped skating completely. I knew I was not going to become pro because I wanted something else. Never quit skating you will regret it and if you want to become pro do it just gotta work really hard at it. I now skate with my oldest, my 4 year old son and we just love to have fun. Skateboarding should be fun not something you feel you need to do. I have a 6 figure pay career and I love it. I still skate, snowboard, mountain bike and even motocross. Ride or die!!

Vincent mentions having to move from that area because of how bad it was -- he ended up coming to my area in the Hi-Desert. He arrived out our high school just randomly one day back in '05 - '06? Same style: shorts and high socks, he had long hair he kept in a little bun tucked under a cap. He kept to himself; rarely talked. He'd come to our park and just shred, and we all knew he wasn't from any local area; he'd just attack our ledges and hips with so much speed. He'd spin into grinds from fakie and carry that same speed into a gap...it was mad. I graduated with him, and then never saw him again until his exposure with Chocolate. What an incredible arc. 🛹

Young Vincent used tag around Justin, Keith Cole cornbread and I’d see Nate kocka occasionally n the inland empire og Pomona pier 7 ish park or at West Covina at night. Keith cole used to be a local legend. He had mad style n pop n was super nice to me. Shout out. Vince is super unique n more than that a crazy awesome human. Great 4/4 chocolate part. Getting on n kicked off was such a mystery at crailtap. But they know talent undeniably and r loyal despite the bad feelings. Crailtap forever for me. They treated me extremely well in buisness. But it was for FTC too. Keep running it Rick n Megan.

Drugs are why I never went pro, no i didnt do drugs, everyone around me did so i had no one to film then one fateful day I asked a homie for a sip of his water, it was drank and i was trying to kickflip crook a double rail and got my front foot caught in between the bars and snapped it in 13 places, took a year to heal, then i had to learn to skate regular because I couldn't flick withmy right foot the same. Im lucky im even sponsored right now
