I feel that. Been thinking about it myself. I'm turning 40 & it's been like 15 years.
In the 90s older skaters used to tell me tales of how important Allen Lodi or Micke Alba were to skate progression. Being young I thought they were out of touch and losing their focus with age.
Now I look back at old footage of Losi and Alba and they knock me out.
So kids… it’s my turn. Fred Gall paved the way. He went switch on handrails, went from ledge to rail, invented modern street skating. Pay attention to me I’m old.
The blunt slides across the stairs in the credits couldn’t possibly get any smoother. So good Freddy.

Thank you, this is what I needed to see, I still remember seeing Pepe (RIP) do a k flip back tail and Fred slay everything in the 90s and my mind was blown. This video reps the heart of skating. Respect to the sls xgames etc....skaters and their talent but skating just doesn't feel the same when I watch these contests or even some the video parts contest skaters put out.
