I work in the US Navy, so I'm always in a uniform of some variety when I'm at work. One day I had off but I had to get something really quick so I dropped by the ship to pick it up. I wore in my Harrington replica (Quantum Jacket by Magnoli) and I was bombarded with compliments at every turn. I'm not gonna lie, it was quite astonishing, especially for how little effort I put into it... just dark jeans and a coyote tan undershirt with the jacket. Your channel has helped me not to realize how much I love the Daniel Craig Bond style, but actually act on it. He has been an inspiration for me to dress better when I can. And of course stay in shape so I can fit in all this stuff indefinitely. As for jackets, I'm still deciding between the Skyfall Barbour, RGT Supply, or the Solden Jacket for my next one. I also got my C&J Moltons coming in tomorrow which I'm really excited for. On a side note, I watched a lot of TH-cam videos during the many months of nationwide quarantine. One of the things I checked out a lot were sartorial videos. Your videos were among these. This all led me to pull the trigger on getting my first suit back in April. It's a charcoal prince of wales check suit, not anything Daniel Craig wore on screen, but inspired by his Bond. A couple weeks ago I stopped by Suitsupply and saw that they had a black herringbone fabric, similar to the Spectre funeral suit. This led me to check out their customization program and I was really surprised at all the non-standard options: extra wide peak lapels, 5 button functioning cuffs, ticket pocket, even the 6 button vest. I went ahead and had them make it for me. It's like a "frugal bond" option and I use quotations because while these suits are 1/5 the price of Tom Ford, ~$1000 is still a lot of money for me to be dropping down. Especially for something that honestly isn't going to get much wear. It's likely that this suit may only ever be worn at a literal funeral 😅 as morbid as that may be to think about. When I head back though to pick it up I'm thinking I'm going to order a "Skyfall Tuxedo" that I can have it for my ship's holiday party (it's a black tie event for the crew, although to be honest it's 99% not going to happen this year). The other suits I'm looking to purchase/reproduce someday are the Skyfall light grey sharkskin, Spectre navy PTS suit, and Spectre herringbone trackstripe suit. I'm going to be really picky about having things like the suit features, colors, and pattern dimensions be as close as possible to the on-screen portrayal, so I've been doing some research as to how these all appear in the movies. It's become a hobby for me I would say.
Great video. I’ve been wondering where to get a Fall (or early Spring) jacket. I’ve been wearing layers - with a vest underneath a light coat. This video is very helpful. Thanks!
David if you want to push your RGT love into winter I recommend the blanket lined version from Stag Provisions, it’s my new favourite. As always, great video!
Always love your jacket episodes David. They're great fun and my Skyfall Barbour Jacket is one of my favourite jackets. Like the others, I can't wait to see your coat video. And I must get a frugal Tom Ford Harrington jacket from Quantum one of these days. Thanks David.
I bought an RGT jacket based on your review, I knew I'd like it, but I LOVE it I have to force myself to wear other jackets. I think the ultimate fall Bond rotation for me would be RGT, Skyfall Barbour, either Casino Y-3 jacket or Quantum Harrington.Great video as always David!
For those who don't have $9000 for an OMEGA .Or want an every day watch that carrys some cue's from the Bond watch.. I found a Solid watch. Automatic Seiko NH35 Movement Winding and Hacking, Sapphire Crystal, Ceramic Bezel, , Decent Lume, Bracelet and or a Tropic strap .By Pagani Design . It is styled as an amalgamation of the old new Bond watch and the old. You can get it with the Sand Colored Indices and Bezel Markings.
My Barbour skyfall jacket is one of the very few legit 007 pieces I own. I adore it, but that liner inside... eesh. If it’s slightly too cold or slightly too warm, forget about it lol. I wear it but I pay for it every other time. Probably today as well lol
The Skyfall one is certainly a classic but I really love the Tom Ford Solden. I can't wait for Daniel to release a new at Royale Filmwear so I can get my hands on one.
I've thought about this quite a bit, especially with the Pacific North West weather, and I believe the most versatile and functional Bond "Fall Jacket" is George Lazenby's Navy Anorak from the OHMSS infiltration climax.
@@TheBondExperience Hi David...don't forget Ian Fleming and Gibraltar are forever linked!.....we remember the Land Rover going over the cliff when they filmed the opening sequence of Timothy Dalton's 'The Living Daylights' in the late 80s....my sister Yvette met him as she was part of the Miss Gibraltar show and it was part of their pre-show treats etc haha
Stephen, you tried the Royale filmwear Harrington? Nice, should be fine for a llanito autumn. Btw, Cortefiel doing a suede jacket (according to their website) quite similar to the Spectre one.
This autumn I'm going to live in my morroco spectre style suede jacket and my Ted Baker Wool jacket which is like a thinner shorter version of the coat at the end of skyfall
Hi David, I haven't invested in any Jackets yet from No Time To Die, but I agree with all your choices. I have quite a few of the jackets on the list, or beautiful replicas. I wore my Solden Royale Filmwear Jacket today, and I have to agree it is more of a cold weather jacket. My personal favourite is my Barbour Beacon. Love it. I have worn it in a heavy rainstorm while bird watching. Realise this is a long text, but can you please do something similar with fall boots. Thanks
Great video as always, David. Los Angeles sadly lacks this "cold" thing I hear so much about, so for me the Quantum harrington is my go-to. Just got a new one that looks very much the part but isn't Tom Ford price. Now if I can just find a stand-in for the QoS Y-3 Haiti jacket that actually looks the part...
Great video David...but very dangerous for my wallet! Very tempted to go and get the Rgt this week. Personal question...what height are you?! You look similar to me and the medium looks a great fit
I have to stop meself from binging on your vids. Sir . I'm saving up for a Private White V.C. Harrington as it's made with ventile. Also a brown mock suede from Will's. Just got my j crew dock peacoat ( on sale at v. low price). Cheers.
Got myself the rtg jacket love it never take it off , incidentally I always like to drop a little fact everytime I post a comment weather you know it or not so here's today's, they've officially filmed a new gunbarrel sequence for no time to die it was filmed when they shot the Cuba sceans and yes bond is wearing a tux in the new gunbarrel
David - so enjoy your content, you've cost me a fortune over the years! ......you got to give those European pronunciations a bit more work though ... "Gilet" is a French pronounced word and spoken as "She...lay" ... actually originated from the Spanish "Jileco"...... I know ... I know ...gotta to get out more but don't we all right now ;-) Again thanks for all you do.... You also inspired my London Bond Shop Odyssey and yet more expense complete with a sore head the next morning courtesy of Alessandro in Dukes!

Love this comments and thank you for taking the time for such a thoughtful post.
I have always liked George Lazenby's blue ski jacket he wore in OHMSS.
I do as well!
I love fall/coat weather. Sadly I live in Texas where it gets down to a bone-chilling 50 degrees
LOL....maybe a windbreaker at best!

Love to revisit the older posts. Invested in the barbour jacket a few months back and highly recommend it.

I have been very much enjoying wearing my “frugal bond” RGT jacket! It looks great and is perfect for the fall!

I am sure they will appreciate that!
Over here in the Rock of Gibraltar not that cold yet....bomber jacket is the most I can wear at the moment haha
A great choice!

Love your content David. The jacket looks great. I wish it got cold enough in Gold Coast, Australia to wear one 🤦♂️
Upvote for the Barbour Skyfall jacket.....the only one I own!

Mmmm the Harrington jacket
Love my RGT jacket! Perfect for fall!

Maybe it is just me. The longer they hold out on "No Time to Die," the more enthusiastic I want to see.
My yearly go-to is still my Barbour Commander. Although I'd really like to grab the RGT.
XD i have been buying RGT clothing(mainly jeans and denim jackets) since 2014
Does anyone have the link to that Orlebar Brown jacket review? Would really love to watch it.

The RGT jacket is a beaut. I have one and I feel pretty sexy when I stand in front of automatic garage doors.

The Daniel Craig Barbour jacket is the most perfect Fall (Autumn) jacket for the U.K.
You can never have enough jackets (and I live in Australia’s answer to Florida (weather wise))
That Tom Ford Harrington is an obscenely $3,690
Tried to love it but too stiff and tough :/
*still waiting for pie eating video.
It is a bit cosplay though....
Ok. Now we’re getting super bored..😑😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
