Jon Johnson Hakeem was the one player that Rodman had trouble stopping, he was quicker than the centers rodman usually guarded. Hakeem also went GOAT mode in the finals, his finals scoring averages being at least 6 points better than his regular season averages

B2theProphet as a Pistons fan, this is mine. We won in '04 with Darko riding the bench. Then we lost in '05, game 7 to the Spurs in like the final minute or two (close game until then). I gotta think if we had drafted either Melo or Wade the Pistons definitely win in '04 and '05. Then, Ben Wallace had left the team...I don't think Ben would have left. I think they would have had a shot at a 3-peat for sure, and definitely would have stayed competitive for a good while.
Now bosh, I'm not 100% sure because we had traded for sheed. So it wouldn't have been the optimal choice. We needed a wing, and Wade and Melo fit the mold perfectly.
This mistake still haunts me. Also, damn you Spurs for making me cry as a kid watching you beat my pistons in the final few minutes of the '05 NBA Finals in game 7.

2008 : return of fisher and additions of Ariza LA to the finals but loss against Celtics MVP Paul Pierce
2009 :LA to the finals and win the champ against Orlando MVP Kobe Bryant
2010 :Addition of Metta and LA to the finals and take revenge against Celtics MVP Kobe Bryant
2011 :retirement of Shaq with elimination against Mavericks who won the Championsip and Dirk the MVP
So 2006,2007,2009,2010 LA would take champs and Kobe become the best player on NBA history with 7 Championships and shaq the best Center in NBA history too......and Kobe-Shaq dwo the best off all time

Im from Chicago and I will never get over what happened to DRose. So sad to think of just how incredible he was, and it hurts knowing how special he was to this city. He was the guy that was suppose to return us to a post Jordan championship team. Hit you right in the feels knowing that he was going to lead us to many championship for many years in a row but the NBA gods had to nurf him.

Here are my favorite What ifs:
- What if Jordan did not retire in 1993.
- What if Grant Hill never injured his left ankle.
- What if Denver got 1st overall draft pick in 2003. They had the same record and probability as Cleveland.
- What if Magic never got HIV. Seriously, he retired immediately after he found out and was only 31. Looking back Magic even says he would never had retired early if he knew what he knows now.
- What if the Chris Paul deal to Lakers was not vetoed. So close, How I wished the NBA did not own the Pelicans.
- What if Harden never got traded. This one is still fresh and really could've pan out if Harden accepted the offer or Presti decided to pay the man.

2. What if David Thompson never used drugs and messed his career up

Maurice Stokes and the Royals, Kareem being drafted to Phoenix, Bill Walton staying healthy, Sampson staying healthy, Len Bias and Reggie Lewis, Shaq staying in Orlando, Duncan going to Orlando, Kobe and Shaq, Harden in OKC, and now Durant going to Boston... okay maybe not that last one....

As a diehard Bulls fan from the early Jordan years, I can definitely say DRose not being healthy for the 2012 rematch against The Heatles was/is the biggest what-if in Bulls history followed by what-if MJ didn't retire in '93 and again in '98, do the Bulls win in '94 and '99 against the Rockets and Spurs? I say yes but I digress!
My top 3 what-if's in league history though gotta be:
- What if Magic Johnson didn't have to retire? Do the Blazers, Suns, Rockets, Sonics & Jazz each make the NBA finals in the years following his retirement if he never steps away?
- What if Detroit drafted Carmelo Anthony instead of Darko
- What if T-Mac never left Toronto and stayed to play with Vince Carter

I think of David Robinson as a physical anomaly as well. The man was a physical monster. 7' 250 pounds, ATHLETIC, Strong and quick. He could outwork point guards. I just wish his leg never broke and his back wasn't bad. The man could've even had a more dominant career.

When people say Lebron always gets Rose off the playoffs i laught, Rose has always been "alone", no superstars, Lebron was alone in the Cavs sure, but then he went to Bosh and Wade, and after that, Kyrie and Irving, and 2014 Bulls vs Cavs was the best series of that year to me.

Here's one that's interesting. What if Sabonis played in the NBA earlier in his career like in the early 90's. Clyde Drexler once said that " We would've won like 5-6 championships" if this were true Clyde Drexler would be considered the GOAT and MJ would've been the greatest player without a ring. It's an underrated one but definitely the most interesting.

Here's a What If? What if Jason Kidd had signed with SA in 2004. I think it's safe to say the spurs would have won another 2 or 3 championships beyond what they won.
