Dom2k I'm a 2k vet, but I gotta give an honorable mention to the 2k13-2k14 Spurs. As someone that can shoot the 3 and post up, This team was perfect in my book. You had the Big 3 of Duncan, Parker, and Manu. Parker was a cheat code because you could shoot basically from anywhere, strip someone's pocket at any given time, and is one of the best lob passers. Then of course you had Duncan, who could do anything you can ask a big man would do (besides shooting at the 3 of course ). He has a pretty decent midrange, can kill anybody in the post if you know how to play in the post. I swear everytime I'm in the post with him it's an automatic green weather that's a fader or a hook shot. He's a brick wall at the defensive side of the court, can get you as many blocks as you wanted. Then u had Manu who is a pemitinter threat, and could shoot anywhere as well. Not only their starters are OP. But their bench was as well. You had Corry Joseph, Danny Green, Matt Boner, Splitter, and Leanord. In my opinion, Splitter was a cheat code as well. If he came off the bench, he can go off from any given point. Basically there was no point of defending him if he was hot. Then of corse you had "The Claw". Now I know that he wasn't in his prime just yet, but Leanord was a low key player back in the day. He could be an automatic green machine from the midrange, and like Parker he could strip someone's pocket at any given point.

That team was my squad on 13 as well. Iggy was unstoppable if used right in 13 & I loved going small with Faried at Center..... Lawson, Chandler, Iggy, Gallo & Faried. Not to mention how underrated that team was defensively. If you ran an up tempo game with a lot of pick n rolls/pops, the Nuggets were never an easy foe for your opponent.
I always liked the 60s hawks too. Lou Hudson and Maravich were unstoppable with hop shots and step backs from anywhere on the floor. Literally all you needed were those two running the floor.

In previous years I'd play a bunch with the same 2 to 3 teams and then got tired of it so I decided challenging myself and try to win with every single current NBA team. I never touched retro teams. But this year I got tired of that too so I did try out retro teams and the first one was the 64' Celtics, for the first time ever AND YES! They're beasts! They have athletic fast af players, they have defensive players they have incredible rebounding and shot blocking bigman, they got shooters! Bill Russell is just a freaking machine and I had a blast playing with that team, moving away from only shooting threes which is basically the game nowadays, it was like a breath of fresh air to play with something different. Highly recommend you guys try them out. Very fun.
The entire time I was telling myself "the 13' Lakers HAVE to be on this list" then when you got to the #2 spot with the Miami Heat I was convinced the 96' Bulls would be on your #1 spot, you completely got me off guard with that one. I used to terrorize people in 2k13 with that Lakers squad I remember at one point going on a 50+ Win streak on online ranked matches it was ridiculous to say the least.
2K21 Bucks are way too overpowered, Giannis can shoot from everywhere and no matter how many people are under the rim, he will get a standing dunk, and you can't even shoot over Khris Middleton, I play Hall Of Fame difficulty
the 2k13 warriors were actually pretty good as well. Lee was a very good post scorer, Bogut was a great rim protector, Barnes was a poor man's Kobe and can hit deep threes, and Klay and Curry both had really easy shot releases.

PS: I usually only play Play Now Online around this time of the year. In previous years I'd play a bunch with the same 2 to 3 teams and then got tired of it so I decided challenging myself and try to win with every single current NBA team. I never touched retro teams. But this year I got tired of that too so I did try out retro teams and the first one was the 64' Celtics, for the first time ever AND YES! They're beasts! They have athletic fast af players, they have defensive players they have incredible rebounding and shot blocking bigman, they got shooters! Bill Russell is just a freaking machine and I had a blast playing with that team, moving away from only shooting threes which is basically the game nowadays, it was like a breath of fresh air to play with something different. Highly recommend you guys try them out. Very fun.
The entire time I was telling myself "the 13' Lakers HAVE to be on this list" then when you got to the #2 spot with the Miami Heat I was convinced the 96' Bulls would be on your #1 spot, you completely got me off guard with that one. I used to terrorize people in 2k13 with that Lakers squad I remember at one point going on a 50+ Win streak on online ranked matches it was ridiculous to say the least.

the 2k13 warriors were actually pretty good as well. Lee was a very good post scorer, Bogut was a great rim protector, Barnes was a poor man's Kobe and can hit deep threes, and Klay and Curry both had really easy shot releases.
