      They're also the only synth manufactured that released and shipped 8-10 long sought out analogue hardware synth clones in unbeatable prices in like 8 years... They just publish their new synth ideas and mockups while others leave it as a surprise...

      I don’t mind. If they release 10% of the synths they show in their videos, they will have released more vintage analog synths and drum machines than Yamaha, Korg and Roland combined.

    I currently own exactly 10 Behringer synthesizers alongside my Arturia, Korg, Roland, Yamaha, and Ensoniq Synths and I can say with great certainty that I can’t wait to buy more Behringer instruments as they’ve proven valuable to my personal collection. I’d never in a million years would have thought I’d say such a thing about a Behringer synth, let alone 10 but Behringer makes great synthesizers and this is coming from someone with decades of experience…

    I'd love to see a self-designed sequencer / groove box by Behringer. Something like a Digitakt or MPC, but with their own ideas and a Behringer-original workflow and interface. Kind of what the Neutron is on the synth field, but for groove boxes.
    Apart from that, I'm looking forward to the Model D Soul, Hiro Tribe Soul, and Proton.

    • @apoclypse
      @apoclypse ปีที่แล้ว

      That was actually missing from this video. Behringer had announced the JAM which is supposed to be an MPC style groove box. Like most things Behringer no word on whether it actually exists. Sometimes I think they like to just troll other manufacturers. That being said the chip shortages have really affected a lot of sectors so it’s hard to say what the real deal is.

    • @georgegeez8708
      @georgegeez8708 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@daleadelic In my opinion, I think they do. No vintage piece of gear sounds exactly the same depending on the age of the circuitry. There is nothing that can't be fixed in the mix if you have the skills.

    • @alexwestconsulting

      @@daleadelic some do, some don't. I've got all the models above except the MS-1, and quite a few more besides. behringer in general isn't quite as smooth as the smooth ones they clones. the crave is a glaring example of this. And they end up sounding kind of same. Many people say the MS-1 is quite off, while the TD-3 is very close. But they all sound great regardless even if not spot on to the OG. Deepmind 12 D is a real gem IMO, nice Juno sounds, amazing true polyphony you wont get anywhere at that price, and great form factor in a desktop.

    I have owned Beringer products for years. My first purchase was a small mixer. Perfect for my Home PA! Next purchase was a V amp 2. Really needed a multi fx unit.This one was only 100$! Still have it and use it ! Recently got aTD3 and a RD6. Run both through the V amp. So affordable and really cool products from Beringer. I'm a budget minded person,so Beringer fits me perfectly!

    • @Door_dash11
      @Door_dash11 ปีที่แล้ว

      Seems like I’m on the same path
      Go myself started with the xenyx1204fx then a hpx6000 (why not 😅) then a Marshall amp, I just recently got myself tge TD-3, having great time
      Eyeing now on RD-8 & crave
      If I become confident with the patching on those I’ll definitely head on to
      my next list kinda have model -D, Pro-1 and neutron 😅
      I’m afraid in a decade or so i might get into modular and live under a bridge 😂

  • @xa1a
    @xa1a ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Bought the Pro One and Model D mainly for live (taking the originals out now is a dumb idea), and for that, they are perfect. I have been reaching for them a bit more in the studio, mainly because of the somewhat limited modular options. At least one of them is permanently occupying a channel of my sequencer at any given time.

  • @Luthiart

    In order of desire (sorry, I can't remember all the Behringer-specific model names):
    UB-Xa
    PPG
    CS-80
    Solina
    LMDrum
    I'd prefer the keyboard versions, but I BARELY had room for the Poly-D that I just received yesterday, so I guess I'll have to settle for the desk-top versions. The Poly-D is my first hardware analog synth, so I think that will keep me busy for some time to come. I'm satisfied with the V Collection for those other synths, so Behringer can keep taking their time as far as I'm concerned.

    I believe the Pro16 could actually be considered like an upgraded version of the dual manual prophet 10 feature set as I recall that Behringer mentioned that it would be multi timbral (= different sounds for different midi channels). That alone would make it better value for money than the re-released P10 (which now does layer and split but nothing midi related).

      @@HOLLASOUNDS the sub 37 is a little different than the subsequent 37, there's a sub 37 tribute as well I think. They are all duophonic, but a ton of fun and very powerful. The presets are largely useless which kind of helps motivate me to make more of the 70s Floyd synth sounds I'm still fixated on.

    I just need the DS-80 to release. I've been able to justify buying a Juno-106 (even though I also have a DeepMind 12D) and a Prophet-5, but I cannot justify buying a CS-80. I also think it'd round out my studio REALLY well.

    It’s nice that Behringer thinks about the end user creating & manufacturing their range, revamping & remodelling old classics which for many musicians the original gear is way out of a lot of people price range and just not really affordable, Behringer releasing such products at cheap, affordable & realistic prices for the modern day musicians, im pretty sure a lot of musicians are like me wanting to always add and buy more synths, studio & guitar gear to my endlessly growing studio gear and instruments etc, but the big problem is being a very skint musician working our arses off doing a full time job and rarely have any extra dough to spend on that next piece of gear! Especially since Covid and everything in the worlds crazy price hikes, Gas, Electric & water bills in the UK crucifying me & millions of others now!!!
    Nice one Behringer trying to make things accessible for everyone and not being greedy making huge margins! I used to work in the purchasing department for a UK electronics distributor who at the time were the main Behringer UK distributor spending millions each year with them, we were lucky to make 15% on many products in the Behringer range, it was all about buying shit loads and selling loads at low prices fast.

    I was really looking forward to the Maelstrom, which was supposedly in production back in 2018. It was a mixer/effects/modulation/warming unit that would have changed the way electronic music is made. I thought it could end up being the new Octatrack. But it never came. And now we never hear about it at all. I hold out a very tiny shard of hope still.

    I have a Korg Kronos 2 which has many classic synths built in. And the synths that are not included can be sampled or downloaded. So, if your classic synth sounds don't have to be persé analog, the Kronos eliminates to buy any more hardware.
