We finally got new tires on our Jeep Gladiator Ecodiesel. Nitto Trail Grappler 35x11.5x17. Now we will have the confidence to know our tires will get us across rough terrain better than the civilized OEM tires that came on the Jeep.

loved the commentary and editing! subsribed!
Thanks!
Looks good.
Nice investment! Hope they handle those trails better than the stock wheels.
FYI, those stock Falkens on the rubicon are ~33". New tires look great, i'm looking at the 35/11.5 Recon Grapplers
Thanks! Realized the Falkens were bigger when I put them next to the Nittos.
He said couple more things I need to do this car... C'mon man truck
I used to be a truck driver so my definition of truck is a little different. Cheers!
I had a place do that to my car one time ,floor jacked one side at a time, when done my driver's side rear door would not open anymore ,brand new car .
Now I ask first if no hoist no deal.
The 35s look way better. Great video man
Thanks!
Yes it’s OK to jack the vehicle up from the rear differential, it should always be done cautiously I always use a jacket that has rubber or I’ll put a rag under it but that’s a common place to jack up the vehicle and the gladiator in the rear is very light.
Thanks!
How did you fix that...when you got home?
Drilled holes in the fender well plastic and zip tied it. I showed that simple fix in the video. Thanks!
OK so it's been a year have you put on a 1.5 inch leveling kit or are you gonna do a lift ? How has it been running stock on the 35 11.50r17 tires ?
Diesel motor and gearing have no trouble spinning the tires. Tires are really great off-road. My problem is the weight of bumper and winch. Font end with stock Rubicon Fox Shocks and springs bottoms out going over bumps. Have to get a good lift like the Mopar with different springs and shocks before I can really take this vehicle off-road. Stock Rubicon shocks are mall crawler shocks. Just have to put some money together to do the lift.
Heard that same thing that holds me back money
can you put 35x12.5x22 on a stock gladiator WILLYS PKG
You can with the right offset on your wheels. I wanted to keep the stock wheels so they will only allow up to about a 11' wide tire to be mounted on them. I don't recomend spacers. I just don't trust them. Thanks! If you haven't make sure you subscribe!
So they sold you a 33.6 inch tyres, saying it's 35s?
Seems like they alway end up smaller
That’s my next step.
I still have to get a lift kit on this Gladiator. Thanks for watching!
all you would need is a 1.5 leveling kit, drilling was unnecessary
I’m planning on putting the Mopar 2” Lift on this Gladiator. Since it’s my wife’s I had to put some steps on the side first. Now just have to save money for the lift kit.
Will 35x12.5r17 fit the stock wheel?
Check the manufacturer guidelines on your chosen tire. Stock rims are 7.5”. Limits the choices. Thanks!
I have 35x12.5r17 on stock wheels. It fits but not recommended, and I’m waiting for my new wheels 17x9 with -12 offset.
It comes down to the width, your wheel needs to be no more than 3 inches less than the tire width.
@@twbl218 Sounds like your doing the right thing for safety. Thanks for the information and thanks for watching. Good luck with the vehicle!
No much different on size to stock
