    Well I installed the complete 3” Rockkrawler kit and my coils bow towards the front bumper. Trying to resolve the issue which has been very challenging.
    After many adjustments now my driver bows slightly towards the front bumper and the passenger bows towards the rear.

    If you’re looking to build your channel I suggest a lava mic and try to keep the camera from hitting things. That way your voice isn’t being drowned out. Good info!

    I am confused about the first no no. The mounting of the rear track bar. Does the Mopar lift kit come w/the rear trackbar or do I order one? If yes do I tell the dealer don't put bracket on the rear to lifted? Sorry I am new to all this.

    Hey, I got a question. So I have a jeep gladiator sport s with an ecodiesel motor and I did go ahead and installed rubicon/Mojave higher fenders. If I got with mopar 2" lift kit, would it give me enough clearance to go with 37" tires? And would I need to regear? Thanks a lot.

    Actually really liked your point of view on the lift. When i originally bought my gladiator i thought the only way to go was a major suspension upgrade like teraflex or rock krawler.. recently I’ve been reevaluating my options and after 4K in tires and wheels the Mopar lift seems like a great option to get them on the road. I liked your perspective and i think its simple.

    I installed the Mopar Kit and the spring bow was really bad, I dropped the front axle and double checked that the springs were seated correctly and it is still bowing forward like crazy. Bough the RK pads hopefully they fix the problem. Any suggestions?

      @@BennyTygohome I have watched videos that this has happened and also some of the more heavy off roaders like litebrit actually took the stock one off and put Antirock Sway bars on because they work better and give more articulation than the stock ones. Especially if you put them on front and back

    It's been my experience that control arms are not that necessary if you're only increasing your lift a couple inches, but of course become more important to proper geometry with higher lifts.

    • @c130aviator
      @c130aviator  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agree, usually over 2 to 3 inches. They need more caster.

    The mopar lift kit is totally overpriced. I got my Metalcloak Gamechanger with shocks for 2200.

    • @c130aviator
      @c130aviator  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Its been said that metal cloak is on par with rough country more than anything. The joints are rubber, the coating zink, and the flex is a gimmic because the flex is limited by the shock and the bumpstop. You couldn't possibly make parts cheaper than metal cloak. The shocks look spray painted by a guy in his back yard. There is a reason the kit is 2200 but to say mopar is overpriced with fox is not true at any price. 1100 for the mopar fox lift, still leaves room for quality control arms.. You may not have known that, but metal cloak is a big no for me.

    • @corpsman247
      @corpsman247 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@c130aviator ha ha seriously?? Your credibility just went way down in my book. And here I thought you were a knowledgeable guy. MetalCloak isn’t the best system out there but it’s one of the better ones by far. Please show me the comparison to RoughCountry. Hell you can get a RockKrawler system or pretty much any system cheaper then the Mopar one. The cheap MetalCloak shocks are just that cheap but ride way better then the rubicon Fox shocks. Also they make shocks that are 2grand that out perform their Chinese cheap shocks. You must be thinking of another company cause the cheap Chinese shocks give you 12 inches of drop compared to your 8 on Mopar. So not sure you even know what your talking about. The Mopar lift is great for pavement and the usual trials but any serious off roading and that system is terrible. Let’s list what it doesn’t give you for 1200. No adjustable lower or upper control arms, no track bars, no quick disconnects. So where is that 1200 going?? That’s right the shocks and that’s it. Take a look at JLLife channel. He had the mopar system and trashed it. Don’t be a homer with your gear dude.

    • @LarryRichelli
      @LarryRichelli 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@corpsman247 I agree with all that you said but....If I have a new JLU and I got an extended warranty and want to keep that warranty, I have to have the dealer install the MOPAR lift. I have seen a few different cases where someone put a different lift on their wrangler, then had a noise in the rear end and went in and the dealer looked under the jeep and saw the lift and told the guy that because of the lift they would not warranty the rear end.
