Dromarch can be seen as a carving on the door arch in the Cloudkeep!! Also not all Agnian's are blades but a lot of them can be seen to be human blade eaters! Teach, Juniper and Fiona all have core's on their body but have the accent of a human from their respective regions (Indol, Gormott, Mor Ardain)
    Great videos!! :]

Or, more likely, they're human/blade hybrids, as in the ending it is shown through Nia's photo blades are 100% able to give birth to hybrids. Maybe only flesh eaters/aegis can but IDK. Since under the new leadership in Alrest after XB2 blades and humans were seen as equals and that knowing that most of the cast of XB3 are the children of the people from XB1 and XB2, probably a lot of cross-species fun times were done resulting in the next generation of Alrest being mostly blade/human hybrids aka flesh eaters/blade eaters.

@@PhazonKing 1: You COULD argue that Fonsa Myma was more in the middle of Uraya. It seemed like Fonsa Myma was more located at the bottom of the stomach if anything. But that is just my thinking.
2: Even if the locations did move, the ruins of Seebu look exactly like a destroyed Fonsa Myma with a very similar layout. Monolith soft would not have done this unless they intentionally wanted to portray Fonsa Myma in a ruined state

The vegetation in the great sword base is not unlike that of the bionis interior lungs. The mechonis struck a blow to the heart of the bionis with its sword so it's not impossible that some of the vegetation remained from the strike or the time egil jabbed at the bionis with its hand

Aionios is not necessarily comprised of actual pieces of land from the previous worlds, as there are things that weren't like that in them. Like Mechonis sword standing like that, or the locations of some of the titans compared to the end of XC2, or how the place where Adam sword was, now is above ground. It is most likely that Aionios was made as an interpretation of the world by Z, or something like that.
So, what I mean is that there is no need for an explanations as to how the vegetation ended up being there. Although yours would be a good one for that case.

About the arts shared between games, there are many others you didn't mention.
Myopic Screen - also in XCX, which can be used by anyone using the psycho launchers
Violent Streak - also in XCX, used by dual gun users (Gray's class Full Metal Jaguar is also Elma's class)
Wide Slash - is one of Rex's twin ring arts

There's a side quest involving 2 key military squads from Keves Castle. One is named the Soltnar Squad, and the other is named the Khatorl Squad. These are the names of the High Entia sororal statue goddesses Khatorl and Soltnar, whose names when combines get you Satorl. The seal islands to Prison Island are also named after them.
Captocorn Peak isn't just a frozen part of Gormott, it's specifically its head. You can see the back of its neck go up and around Colony Gamma, and then at the end lies Captocorn Peak. You can even compare some of the horns and see that they are the same.
The plants in the area by the Great Sword's Base isn't a reference to Sylvalum, they're from the Spirit Crucible Elpys, found in various areas throughout the cave.

Origin, the machine created to save all the info of humanity and pretty much all of existence so that life can be recreated after the collision of both worlds works in principle just like the lifehold in XCX where the lifehold contains all info of humanity so that it can be recreated somewhere else after earth is destroyed.
    Keves = xc1
    Agnus = xc2

The thing about the statues, I think it's the DLC storys cast. You play as N & M, or back then known as Noah & Mio, but you also gonna play as the reincarnation of Rex & Shulk. Plus 2 more characters.
And you will play in the time where they became the first Uruboros & founded the city.
My reason to believe that is the statues have a lot of back stories, like the guy with glasses became 80 despite being a keves soldier or that guy with the robot arm.
Also I still think the guy with the glasses is actually Shulk its reincarnation. The guy with the robot arm will be an original character.
But that's all just my theory.

He is basically described as a genious engineer, just like Actual Shulk, and looks a lot like him. I think that Shulk might have been already dead by the time the founders came together, as his statue is there in place of the actual founder because she admired him, and this other Shulk was a reincarnation born inside the flame clock system. That or they were both alive at the same time.

So, xenoblade 2 had a heavy focus on blades and affinity building between blades in battle. Then, a couple years later, Astral Chain came out with a system similar, albeit, noticeable changes. In that game, there r creatures that are clearly linked to the main character by a blue chain (the astral chain). In that game, the player can control both the “blade” and the “driver.” To me, that system does fee inspired by the driver and blade system from xc2.
Now, in xc3, the creatures in astral chain have made an appearance in Xenoblade! The design of ouroborous looks very similar the creatures in astral chain. Furthermore, there is a skill tree to upgrade the ouroboros very reminiscent to astral chain.
So, the theory is as such: Platinum was inspired by xc2 and xc3 was then inspired by Astral Chain. I like the theory and there really are a lot of similarities that can be drawn between the 3 games. I’d like to believe that monolithsoft and platinum games inspired each other’s mechanics.

One of the biggest connection between 1,2,3 and X is the fact that origin in 3 has every data to save the ppl of the 2 worlds. It is right that origin goes down and the 2 worlds drift apart at the end but this is the future which they had choose. We don´t know if the new world has origin and if yes....that would mean, that planet mira is the world of XC3 after defeating Z. Everyone who had played X know that every data of the whale was destroyed and there should no explanation for it, that they can life on mira. The other thing. At the end of X is, that 1 person comes from the sea and is alive again ( he died in the final battle) So If Mira is the world of 3, Origin is maybe the core of mira and has still the funktion to gather all data of lifing things on the planet.

Regarding Ashera, it could be that she's simply Dunban's descendant. Looks similar, same moveset and even move names plus they are both dodge tanks. I believe every member of each respective party (XC 1and 2) got kids, save for maybe Zeke and Shulk (As Shulk was stated to have adopted kids instead or maybe Eunie is Shulk and Melia's kid but I'm just grasping at straws here). Like how Mio is obviously Nia's child. Noah looks waaaaay too much like Morag to simply dismiss to but that's me guessing again too.
Plus there's a location called "The Great Aegis Sea", which we can assume is a crater caused by Mythra or Malos and it's been filled up by water at this point.
Regarding Vandham, in his post battle dialogue he states that he did have a son but he's dead. So we can either assume that 1. Vandham's son had a kid that continued the family name 2. Vandham had a family already that continued his name 3. Rex took up his name and continued with it. Just because Rex was a mentor doesn't mean he wasn't part of the Vandham house or whatever. Yet again, it's a guess.
One of the founders has an Aegis core crystal, I don't know if that's been said already or not. That means she is one of Rex's children or both. If Pyra and Mythra can fuse maybe their kids can do the same....? Lol naaaaah... that wouldn't make sense, either way, That is either Pyra's or Mythra's child (Whether it's an Origin clone or not)
Melia during battle has wings that show up behind her, those are Telethia wings. Don't read too much into it. It's not what you think.

Actually, most of Noah’s base class arts are similar to shulk’s
Mio and Nia are seemingly related. Mio having a bunch of arts from Nia’s chakrams in 2.
Jackal claw is also an art present in 2.
Aionios is a reference to Aion from xenoblade 2.
The door at Nia’s refuge is marked with the aegis/conduit symbol
D’s weapon we see in his human flashback is a reference to Mumkhar who had the same fangs in XC1. Also D himself is Metalface V2.
The opening fight of Xc3 between Agnus and Keves looks really similar to the two titans fighting at the start of Xenoblade 1
Senna’s hair look oddly similar to Brighid’s hair, maybe a descendant?
Will try to find more connections in a reply below!

    • @angem.6717
      @angem.6717 2 ปีที่แล้ว

In the music track « the weight of life » we can briefly hear a bit of « counterattack » inside.
iirc the lucky seven is a reference to an XCX weapon.
For the incoming DLC hero Ino, she says she is the best and last Artificial blade. Probably the last project of Tora before he passed. That makes her Poppi’s little sister!
Turkin’s stupidity is a reference to the turkins of other games being stupid too! (Joke)
Colony 9 where you start the game is a call back to XC1 where you also start in Colony 9.
Consul N is likely very inspired from Jin, as seen by his katana weapon, his motives and battle theme.
Krys oddly looks like Claus or Shulk
The fossil items often refer to past animals/items that are now extinct in Xenoblade 3
The art icons when Noah draws the lucky seven are monado arts logo

You missed the machinery and catwalks in the Urayan Tunnels look like Ardainain tech. I kind of liked thinking there were survivors after the event who set that up before Mobius enslaved them all.
I'm inclined to believe that probably is a statue of Dunban as Shulk could have made another artificial Monodo for him or the person who made the statue is getting the info on what he looked like from retellings of the Battle of Sword Valley without know that's what it is. This would also explain the mecha arm as they may have heard, "He lost the use of his arm," and thought it got chopped off so of course he'd got a prosthetic.
I can't get over that fact that in my head canon (and the real canon for all I know) the three heroes representing XC2 are all probably Rex's children. One near the door is Pyra's, one with Rex as the statue is Mythra's, and the definitely-not-Mio-in-a-different-life statue is Nia's. Not to mention you missed that big bit about Nia and Mio.

As a huge X fan, it’s nice to see everyone trying to make connections, but I really beg you all to *please* play the game and read the lore for yourself. It has a lot of its own plot and cliffhangers that made it unique, and I personally think would’ve been devalued if Aionios was Mira all along. It’d be like if the planet Kosmos was floating to at the end of Xenosaga 3 was the planet where Xenogears took place.
Or for a more extreme example, if after BotW there was a Timelapse of Hyrule Castle repairing itself, with the camera panning down to the ground at the end, where a green pipe rises from the ground and a red plumber hops out and reveals that BotW was a prequel to Mario 64.

As far as special moves being reused. That's common across most JRPGs Ive played over the years. So I never really thought anything of it. I didn't even consider the recharge system...This video was cool, it helped me realize and remember a lot of small details of past games.

Yup, part 3 will talk a bit more about the reused attacks. Because... there are a LOT of them. Thanks for the kind words :)

Myopic Screen Is the name of an art in Xenoblade X, Full Metal Jaguar uses dual guns just like the class of the same name from Xenoblade X. All the people from the City use realistic looking weapons and I think that might be a reference to Xenoblade X. Near the end of the game both queens pilot giant robots and their interface looked like Skells from Xenoblade X. Also during that same scene the windows that show information in that skell like thing are circular for Keves and diamond shaped for Agnus, just like how the arts look like for those nations’ classes.

Guernica Vandham is likely not blood related to XC2 Vandham because 1. Vandham is not his real name and 2. His only son died prior to the game. Most likely, XC3 Vandham is the descendent of Rex through Mio

All this time I fought the thought that Keves Castle area looked like Alba Cavanich because I thought It didn't make sense, since Keves side was obiously meant to be XC1's world. But my instincts were right. Makes sense now
