    • @jamesborek8125
      @jamesborek8125 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It bothered me for a while, but now it's a blessing. It's allowing people to really show who they truly are. The past few years have been very telling on a lot of folks I've known. Folk who'll fall right in line with what they're told, including demonizing those who don't.. and the folks who'd rather face the suffering head on, rather then bow down. Ain't good or bad, just clarity.

    • @MrX-zz2vk
      @MrX-zz2vk ปีที่แล้ว

      @jamesborek8125 "Woe to those that call evil good and good evil..."
      Isaiah 5:20
      And that's what the world is doing. Not just in politics, but the media, education, everywhere.
      But like you said, when they reveal themselves as immoral, low quality people, they're actually doing you a favor. For instance, if you're a young man or woman looking for a high quality life partner, pay attention to that girl/woman's or guy's social media photos and posts.
      If there's pictures of them partying hard and getting completely plastered that's a major red flag they're gifting you with. Pay attention to that. And the mixed messages. If they've posted on their page, wall or whatever that they're a Christian and "...living for Jesus" but on same page they've got pictures from the crazy keg party and sexually suggestive photos and comments or the same from someone they hooked up with over the weekend, that doesn't jive with their Christian "witness" that's another tell or reveal about their true character.
      Always pay attention to those things. Because they're essentially telling you to avoid them like the plague. If you choose to ignore all those red flags/warning signs you're in for a world of hurt. Any guy or gal who chooses to ignore all those warning signs will only have himself/herself to blame later.

    I agree except for the wife point. Sometimes you make a mistake when you're young and it haunts you for a long time. My ex was a cheater and manipulator from right after I adopted her first 2 children. We had 2 more together. I stayed with her for 20 yrs because I was afraid not to be in the home for my children. She slept with my pastor and since my youngest was 16yo I finally got out. During that time I didn't talk very much to anyone about my wife because she was awful, and I was trying to protect my kids from the truth about her.

      I notice that a lot of Pastors and brothers in Christ fail to mention flaws and duties of women. They go all day long about how husbands should die for her but don't emphasize the reverence they should have for their husbands. Divorces are filed 80% of the time by women because they live in sin and listen to other women. Christian men are afraid to point this out.

    John, I had a friend who is no longer a friend and he checked off all of your boxes with red flags. I never thought of it this way or put it into words like you did but it makes sense. We were friends up until the day he turned those negative traits on me and I could see through the hypocrisy. After hearing your criteria, I know that you and I would be friends, just ask my lovely wife or 3 really great kids who we got complimented on their whole lives and are now 23,22 and 19. Thank you.

    I can immediately spot a judgmental person just by looking at them. I deliberately run reckless drivers off the road to protect other drivers. I am also a remarkably humble person considering my amazing abilities. I’m pretty sure that someone like me only comes along once every 100 years or so. And that my friend is what makes my humbleness so remarkable.

    These character traits come out when you get to observe them.
    If you want to get the truth faster get em drunk or angry, they will tell/ show you what they really think.

      Drinking changes a person. I would argue that drinking produces lies; it is not a truth serum. If you spend enough time intoxicated, you may think that it’s a normal acceptable state of consciousness. Anyone drinking and ‘observing’ other people for a baseline on character traits is lying to themselves. Intoxicated people are just intoxicated. Angry people on the other hand; suffer from a different type of condition. Confusion is the root of most anger. 🃏
