    It's gotten very frustrating to see mainstream media paint good things as bad and insane people as healthy. Good info here. Hopefully people can carry on building a world with more moral character as people open their eyes up to the subversion in the public eye.

      It bothered me for a while, but now it's a blessing. It's allowing people to really show who they truly are. The past few years have been very telling on a lot of folks I've known. Folk who'll fall right in line with what they're told, including demonizing those who don't.. and the folks who'd rather face the suffering head on, rather then bow down. Ain't good or bad, just clarity.

    • @MrX-zz2vk
      @MrX-zz2vk 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @jamesborek8125 "Woe to those that call evil good and good evil..."
      Isaiah 5:20
      And that's what the world is doing. Not just in politics, but the media, education, everywhere.
      But like you said, when they reveal themselves as immoral, low quality people, they're actually doing you a favor. For instance, if you're a young man or woman looking for a high quality life partner, pay attention to that girl/woman's or guy's social media photos and posts.
      If there's pictures of them partying hard and getting completely plastered that's a major red flag they're gifting you with. Pay attention to that. And the mixed messages. If they've posted on their page, wall or whatever that they're a Christian and "...living for Jesus" but on same page they've got pictures from the crazy keg party and sexually suggestive photos and comments or the same from someone they hooked up with over the weekend, that doesn't jive with their Christian "witness" that's another tell or reveal about their true character.
      Always pay attention to those things. Because they're essentially telling you to avoid them like the plague. If you choose to ignore all those red flags/warning signs you're in for a world of hurt. Any guy or gal who chooses to ignore all those warning signs will only have himself/herself to blame later.

      What I have grown to despise is the "Sympathetic Villain" in most movies these days. They create these villains that had something make them bad as to absolve them of their responsibility and then its not their fault that they are evil, like the modern take on The Joker.

Kinda nuts if you ask me. Would not trust that kind of person. 😇

I was so excited when I heard about your book that I pre-ordered an extra copy to send to my older sons (from a previous marriage). I wish I could have been able to afford more than the two copies, because I hope to send them to as many of the other men and young men I know as possible. I plan to by one or two copies every 2-4 weeks, so that I can send them out as Christmas presents. I truly admire and appreciate what you do and the message you share. I have overcome a lot in my life, but I still have a long way to go. Videos like this are a great reminder to stop and evaluate the places I still have plenty of room for improvement. I have a great relationship with my children and a very respectful and courteous relationship with my wife, but there is plenty of room for improvement on my part for our relationship to be more "friendly and playful". It's so easy in our world to get burdened and weighed down by the "have too's" and "need too's" these gentle reminders go a long way to self evaluating where we are at and what is truly important!

    John, I had a friend who is no longer a friend and he checked off all of your boxes with red flags. I never thought of it this way or put it into words like you did but it makes sense. We were friends up until the day he turned those negative traits on me and I could see through the hypocrisy. After hearing your criteria, I know that you and I would be friends, just ask my lovely wife or 3 really great kids who we got complimented on their whole lives and are now 23,22 and 19. Thank you.

    I could not agree more. I completely understand where your words are coming from. Part of our internal security mechanism inate in each of us should surface some warning to you when danger lurks. I believe this sense is stronger in few than others. It is relative to understanding and being aware of your surroundings. On another note, we should always be watching for the good in people; the warning surfaces when you see the absence of it. I appreciate your post. Sam, USMC Ret.
