I'd yeet that beat onto my playlist in an instant. good stuff, homie.

Nice beat!! I actually prefer to record an 8 bars sketch on the linear view; then send each track to the live loops gird to start messing up with the scenes. Finally record the scenes on the linear view. I just feel like recording on the loop grid is kind of messy for me, but it’s grate for improvising on new ideas

This is cool! I’d never considered doing that! I’ve made my peace with the clunkiness of using Live Loops for recording but that sounds like a cool workflow too!

You can do a full arrangement in MPC (with automation etc). You build a song with sequences as blocks in the usual way, and then you can "convert song to sequence" and it will write out one long sequence for the whole song which you can then edit and automate. Nothing wrong with moving to the DAW whenever, but this way of arranging is at least adequate.

Oh sick! I’ve done automation on sequences then strung them together but I didn’t know you could do that! That sounds potentially tedious but like a solid workaround if you want to do it all in standalone. Good call out!

Thx Dylan! Hey, I still cannot decide whether to get the Akai force for songwriting with guitar or not. I have an Ipad m2 - could I get a great workflow with guitar and vocals and Footswitch on ipad / logic pro or will I get better focused/structured with the force? With a proper launch pad and templates could the feeling get similar? Btw I switched to ipad from Mac bc of the fan noise...and quicker access. Thx br

Hmmm that’s hard to say! I’m not sure I’d recommend a force if you already have an iPad but it’s a neat device for sure. It feels a bit old at this point which makes me feel like they might release a new one soon but I don’t have any insider information on that just a hunch

Great dude, but you didn’t actually walkthrough how to get the clips into the arranger view. 😂

Man I noticed you used a lot Drambo plugins. Didn’t realize they had effects that could be used outside of it. Looks like I need to get Drambo. I stopped using logic on iPad. Looks like I’ll go ahead and get it back. This video opened my eyes 👀🦾🦾

I haven't actually used Drambo a lot, some of the effects I use may work in both though! In this project I think I'm just using Perforator and Kosmonaut from Bram Bos
