    The original headlights look better than the new ones.

      If porsche really wants to beat every one in the game,they should use battery cells with over 450 wh/kg energy density,and they should manage to have a battery pack with atleast 400wh/kg in pack level energy density,CATL will massproduce it's automotive version semi solid state condensed battery early summer this year with over 450 wh/kg in cell energy density,2025 porsche taycan turbo s weighs 2280 kg din which is 15 kg weight reduction and considering that more power and range and battery size is amazing but if they manage to have CATL semi solid state battery in their taycan line up they will have 400 kg weight saving from battery pack and they can reduce the weight of e drive units with another 80 kg from drive units,if they do this taycan turbo s will weigh 1800 kg din and a lot more range and performance i hope they will do what they should do to be the best

    I got my 2020 Taycan turbo recently as a certified pre owned vehicle and it’s great but definitely for a certain type of driver. Love the videos, keep them coming

    So it will be another 4 before we see another major change? That great for me! I will be in the market for one this summer and I’m going used with these great prices. The facelift was minor visually, so I’m good with buying used and holding for the next redesign.

  • @charlesbcraig

    The 2030 redesign is the one to get...then again, the 2035 facelift of the redesign will probably be even better! ;)

    Out of spec motoring got 450mls doing around 50-60mph and I believe if I am not mistaken dual motor. Which is incredible and that combined with the new high charging curve is arguably a game changer. Residuals on the new one should be better due to over coming the perceived negatives which as an EV driver rarely becomes an issue in the real world. I have a Kia EV6 GT and I love it and is a rapid piece of kit and very comfortable and highly spec”d as standard. However the huge price drops in Taycans has now got me looking at a year old GTS. Similar performance and prices similar and this drop allows me personally to get back in to the Porsche family. Had a 996 GT3 many years ago go. Jesus wish I still had that now based on what they are worth recently. 🤯😩. Love the vids 👍

    • @TABonTV
      @TABonTV  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The new quoted mileage is a lot higher, and looks like real world might be even more?! This can only be a good thing. I'm not sure about residuals, there's still too much used stock in the market, and the majority of used ones are bought though business. Thanks for your comment and glad you're enjoying the vids!

    You will always get the the range you got if you always drive the way you do! Yes you will get summer winter variation! Obvs the range in Sport is much less the than in range!

    Quick question. Will the Taycan receive a PCM upgrade if it's backward compatible with the hardware. The Taycan and Macan EV also has a feature that allows users to load non-OEM/3rd Party apps directly to the PCM screen, which a Taycan forum user wonders if the Taycan could also have. Have you heard of this coming?

    • @TABonTV
      @TABonTV  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would hope so, I hear Porsche are working closely with Google for the new system so let's keep our fingers crossed for some kind of backwards compatibility

    Never buy a new car with your own money! First you lose 20% in VAT! Once registered, not new ! Lost another 5%! 6 months old Ex demo or up to 18month return for new purchase! Then you got rid of the High end depreciation curve! You still 18months warranty!

    Wanna ask for opinion here.. i wanna buy a used taycan turbo s for £80k from uk.. my country got duty n tax exemption for ev till 2026.. duty n tax here up to 130% of the car value.. which makes £80k used car becomes £184k after duty n tax in 2026..
    While a new taycan in 2026 could cost me £400k
    Is the 2021 taycan turbo s worth the duty n tax exemption or i should buy a new tesla model 3 instead

    • @TABonTV
      @TABonTV  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Personally I'd be looking at the used taycan. You're getting much more for your money than with a new model 3.

  • @RB-lt8kt
    @RB-lt8kt 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    No one wants to buy a used Taycan because it is over priced with poor range and you can never be sure how the battery has been charged before you buy it. Servicing might be a similar price to a Mercedes C or E class, about £700 but repairs will be very expensive and you can only take it to Porsche. I helped my daughter fix her petrol car, that was leaking coolant on our driveway but you can't do that with an EV as it has a high voltage battery. Replacing a thermostat housing on a Ford took less than 2 hours but how do you do that on an EV with the cars coolant being used for the battery ? Our repair cost £40 parts and some coolant as I had a £40 coolant pressure tester. Anyone could have done the repair as it wasn't that hard but fiddly.

      Many people are going after the used market and they are not overpriced. There are some really great deals out there. Range is t the highest, but more than enough around town and short trips. What you are speaking of sounds like you really can’t afford this type of car electric or not. What I mean is comfortably afford it, not nickel and dimming to get it. Lastly, why are you even on this video? You clearly don’t want an EV.

    To be honest the one thing im sick and tired about is electric cars, which is the constant need for faster power... bigger footprints. When are we actually going to see a reasonable powered, priced and maintain car launched. They are few and far between. Yes we all know electric cars are amazing in delivering in performances, but its all become meaningless and boring

      105kwh with 97kwh usable apparently which accounts for 15% of the 21% extra range in the RWD

    new facelift is shit IMO. old one is much much better. especially the headlight and teardrop. If you say otherwise, you have aweful taste in terms of design. good luck. fk Aerodynamics. I much prefer something look nicer vs a little bit performant.
