Would love to see how the normal Turbo GT compares to the Lucid Air Sapphire

Like you said, I think the W package will only be for a select few people. The GT is the way to go. It’s close enough and most people won’t even take it to the track lol!

Hi. Another great and thought provoking vid for those fortunate enough to be experiencing this dilemma.
I replied to an earler one you made re this vehicle type and at that stage I'd opted for the Weissach Turbo GT option after having been granted an allocation. Now I've changed it to the non Weissach and it's arriving mid July so the OPC says. One main reason, strangely I admit, was the auto chassis height lift on the Weissach provides less height when raised compared the non Weissach.
My route through Bradford on Avon every day has a good few speed bumps and the auto lift in my Taycan Turbo S manages to clear those well. So, after having been advised by the dealer that the non Weissach lifts higher I swapped. Also it seems a bit daft to have 4 doors and only two seats for the Weissach model.
Totally agree with you that a Taycan has smooth lines and a tail spoiler looks a bit odd.
Sorry for the length of this reply. Thanks.

Thanks for the comment. Yep, I think you made the right decision there, does seem strange to have 4 doors and no rear seats - the weight saving really is a minimal % of the car too.
Excited on your behalf for the delivery!

I’m impressed with the 49-74 mph figures- amazing!
I personally wouldn’t use one on the track. Another great video, keep it up!

Exactly - the right foot must make your head spin in this one!

Non Weissach looks better, is more practical, has more configurable options and the aero and weight advantage will not be noticeable except on a track at the limit.

I honestly think anyone buying a Taycan now is nuts given the depreciation. You’re better off buying an ice car then returning once the volatility has cooled

I think there’s two kinds of buyers: people who want to own a great car for several years and drive it through its lifetime; and then there are flippers who care about things like depreciation.
