Before anyone comments, the thumbnail with Obama and Joe Biden is a widely used meme and should be treated as such. I know that Obama is not an INTJ and Biden is not an ENFJ. It's just a funny picture guys!

How come C.S. Joseph says INTJ and ENFJ can't work in a relationship? He actually worried me because I met a great ENFJ woman and all seems amazing so far.

INTJ: Explains something, gives solution, no one cares.
ENFJ: Repeats it and everyone listens, solutions implemented
I appreciate all the enfjs that have helped me with that.

ENFJ female here.❤ My beloved late husband was an INTJ. We were so compatible in every way. We adored each other intensely. He went to Heaven last year/2023. I am lost without him😢. We had a fairytale romance for over 4 decades/43 years, and I can't wait to see him again. 😢❤❤❤

  • @lalaguill8634

This is way too accurate! I'm an ENFJ happily non-married to an INTJ for 5 years, this is the most uncommon and deepest relationship I've ever had. The greatest and longer conversations have always been with my partner and I've noticed how much we've grown since we've first met. I've become a stronger and assertive person thanks to his honest insights, while he's learned patience and understanding with me (he still thinks the world is full of stupid people though, but we are working on that). INTJs are the most loyal, caring and smart people in the world once you have the chance to know them. They are more than the stereotypical "villains" in the movies, they are the heroes in the shadows. :)

    • @justcallmejon22
      @justcallmejon22  ปีที่แล้ว +4

"Happily non-married", you didn't have to say it that way ENFJ 😉. I love hearing about this pairing because I really do believe it's a strong pairing! Keep growing together and please take care of your INTJ 🙏

    • @lalaguill8634
      @lalaguill8634 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@justcallmejon22 hahaha oh, that's our statement to the world. I'm an ENFJ, but a 8w7, so I guess I share the tendency of not liking to be controlled or being traditional, as my INTJ :). Today, I went through most of your videos, looking for additional insights that will help me to understand and support my partner better. Even after all these years together, there's always room for improvement and understanding from both sides, especially for me, since I've found out that INTJs are a bit more complicated to "read" than many other personality types. Seriously, thank you for all the information, time, and effort you've placed on those videos. You have no idea how much you are helping everyone 😊.

I dont know if someone has already said this, but one of the main things I found that I contribute to ENFJs is teaching them to have boundaries. ENFJs have such a difficult time with this. And most of the time, it's like they wake up and realize, "Oh wait a second. This person is abusing me." They are so happy to help and care for others, its all they see, like tunnel vision. They don't recognize the patterns of other people's behaviors. They are so warm, we learn a lot from each other. I dont mind watching their back and protecting them of they need me.

I consider ENFJ INTJ to be a golden pairing. So underrated, I (ENFJ) am able to have the deepest of philosophical conversation with another human being (INTJ) and fully flesh out ideas. They have endurance unlike INFP and INTP who peter out, whereas INTJ can take ideas to their limit. Amazing pairing as friends or significant others.

ENFJ-A Here: I've learned that introverts batteries get drained quickily if they are always being dragged out. When they are are quiet, I suggest a quiet place for them to be alone to recharge and I love seeing theirs light up. I leave them alone if they are very quiet as much as I want to ask whats up. I've learned the introverts like to figure things out on their own first before they can vocalize it. So I love giving them that space and know they will come to me when they are ready and recharged.
    Excellent video ❤

I am an ENFJ and something I think is gravely under represented in so many MBTI videos is the fact that ENFJs highly value objective information that we might not necessarily agree with.
Even though our “super power” is connecting with people, we CRAVE differing opinions because it is a literal source of growth for us and an opportunity to potentially help growth in others.
You are so on point with how ENFJs use Fe with Ni for lessons. Our Fe supercharges our Ni!✨

I’m too late to comment, but I only wanted to say that this analysis is super spot on.
One of my best friends is an ENFJ and it’s very interesting to see our interactions since a lot of people don’t understand our sense of humor. She is one of the few people who can make me cry laughing while other people will just stand there confused. Apart from the sense of humor, we both enjoy analyzing EVERYTHING. She doesn’t really know anything about MBTI, but as soon as I started telling her about it, she was sitting there and asking “what else?”, “tell me more about my type”. I love her so much, and I can’t begin to explain how in sync INTJs and ENFJs tend to be in most of the times and how we compliment each other so well.

I am a male INTJ and I've only dated or crushed on (female) ENFJs. They are good at everything I am not, they challenge my weaknesses like mass social settings with strangers, and offer a more empathetic POV on life when us INTJs can be more cold or overtly rational. It amazes me to watch ENFJs get everyone to love them immediately, but are also able to keep up with me 1-1 about deeper and complex topics with Ni going wild.
To add onto growth, they challenge me to be more in tune with emotions as it is very easy to say something blunt and hurt their feelings unintentionally. ENFJs typically will not call it out and hold it in. In my opinion ENFJs challenge INTJs in the way we need it most but we can also understand and respect them for it.

This one was another one I was waiting for, and oh boy did you nail it! My ENFJ friend is probably one of the few people outside of my most inner circle of friends where I'm ever genuinely concerned about their opinion on a matter and hold any thoughts they share on a topic in high regard. Pretty much right up there with my ENTJ friend like you mentioned in the video.
I remember when that first lighting of the loyalty torch took place between us. We were both learning a fight for the first time and he was one of our healers while I was playing a caster. Because I was playing a caster I naturally have one of the lowest health pools, and one of the things I typically experience when playing with a lot of other healers is they underestimate how much damage a move is going to do to me vs just about everyone else in the group with more health to spare. The boss does a move that specifically targeted dps role I take damage as expected, first mech clears. Then the boss starts charging up another raid wide move and I'm floating at about 55% health from the first hit. Based on past experience, I'm just expecting to die and start the mental count down to malding. And then as if the ENFJ read my mind I just hear him go over the mic, "Yeah... I don't trust that..." and he shoots me a heal before the move comes out to make sure I survive. It was such a simple action, but because there are so many people who just over-estimate themselves and under-estimate how hard the boss will hit I've died in that situation more than I really ever should, so to see someone who actually decided to not take that needless chance with my life just instantly raised the loyalty flag moving forward.
If they ever asked for me to adjust something to make their load a little lighter, where most other people got some pushback if it didn't make sense, with the ENFJ I already trust the feedback and just make the adjustment because I trust they aren't going to ask me to do something that will put me in a bad spot. Once we know a fight well enough, we can usually short hand signals to each other and know what the other is asking for without a detailed explanation of why because we both NI'd the shit out of a situation and saw the same path to the fix. An example of this is usually if I can adjust to take a hit and avoid a wipe, even if I shouldn't have too, I will cause the clear is the goal. But that also means I'm going to take damage I shouldn't have to take. When things are about to pop-off, I'll almost unconsciously just sigh and go, "Dammit..." cause I'm already expecting to die, but then my ENFJ friend will follow that up immediately with, "I got you!" and we just make it work.
The ENFJ is truly one of the few people that always has a spot on the VIP list when it comes to asking for assistance because I know they'll always pay it back down the way without even being asked. And because they inspire that level of loyalty, it's funny when they do try and get me out of my "known social bubble" to meet new people, cause when they make the invite, they always do so in this way that seems to say, "You may not want to... but I'll be disappointed if you don't." And I just never have it in me to actively want to disappoint them, so I'll always take up the invite. Probably because I know if the situation was reversed and I needed them to work with some people they didn't really know, they'd come along with no hesitation and fit the vibe to create that social harmony almost effortlessly.

ENFJ here 😁 OMG, it's so true that when I go out with my friends there's no way I won't ask within a few minutes: how are you, really? Or try to start conversations about life XD
I have some INTJ friends and in particular a dear friend from work and it took a few months before he felt confident enough to open up; but since he did, we can talk about anything in a deep and direct way (which for us ENFJs is great, since it's both a stimulating moment and where we can recharge, because we don't often get the chance to be direct).
I have to say that I've really noticed that we often make the same observations (which has only happened to me with other ENFJ friends), so when we talk it doesn't take much for us to understand and immediately reason about the subject of the conversation. I've noticed that compared to me, who I would say tends to guide people more by talking as deeply as possible, he has a much more practical way of helping, which I find equally effective and inspiring.
Unfortunately, very often what they say is misinterpreted or seen badly by people and probably this is also why they can have difficulty opening up and trusting others. I therefore hope to be able to give him space to be as much himself as possible in a serene way. At the same time, the comparison with him is very useful for me to see things from another perspective. Thanks for this video and for your observations 😊

Yay!!!! a JustcallmeJon video. I don't know if this is an INFJ thing or a me thing, but I take notes on what you say. And as I'm writing a book not about MBTI,, but is many short stories and I want to use MBTI in some of those stories. So after taking notes, my writing is just like a physicians and so I type up the notes. I have ADD, yea at my fricken age, lol. So you only get me for 20 minutes at a time and 30 if I'm into the subject. And my memory is that of well too much weed. By physically writing and then typing, I retain it better.

Will agree with you on appreciating people who challenge us as INTJs, and preferring that. It's one of the hardest things with Fe users that they don't voice disagreement when it would actually be helpful to the group to hash out the problems now so that we could move forward in the zombie apocalypse.
It's sort of a value of harmony over clarity, but as things become less clear, they also become less harmonious.
Anyway, I like the pick of Obama and Biden, even though I don't think those are their actual types. But Obama liked to hang back and is definitely a thinker, and no one who has heard Biden speak wouldn't recognize he's a Feeler and an Extrovert. And the two of them seem to have complemented each others strengths and weaknesses when they were in office together.
Someone reading this might not like their politics, but this isn't about that. It's just about them being an effective team.

For me personally, I find ENFJs fun to be around socially and it can be really nice to have them cheer up everyone in the friend group. But what I find annoying about ENFJs is their petty censorship and how they constantly HAVE to be in a relationship, and how everyone in the friend group is pressured behave and self-censor in a way that doesn't displease their girlfriend (talking about male ENFJs).
I don't like how they always suck up and try to please everyone while silencing you behind the screens. But yes, I did notice that on average ENFJs tend to he habitually in relationships and can't live without one.
I was once told by an ENFJ to please not imitate an Indian accent because it might be offensive to Indians... (being offended in their stead.)
I find they tend to be pretty disloyal and that a lot of times they choose to please their girlfriend over their close friends, for short lasting relationships.
But in group projects ENFJs can be very good to work with and they keep up group morale.
I have had pretty mixed experiences (both good and bad) with ENFJs, but if they're the bad types, oh boy can they grind my gears!
Thanks for you videos and keep it up John!

Thank you for commenting your insights! I wouldn't say that I have the same experience with the ENFJs in my life but I can imagine ENFJs being that way. The relationship becomes easier once both parties drops our egos and trust the other person's strength. I trust and listen to my ENFJ when they provide Fe comments because I'm also part of their tribe so their Fe is also looking out for myself and not just everyone else. In return, my ENFJs trust and listens to my Ni. Once ya'll arrive to that level, the partnership is easy ✊
