This guy is like Truman Duncan. Both survived the impossible. Truman survived being cut in half by a train. This man survived being almost killed by his machine. Both of them are legends in their own way.
In my opinion he did something smart and stupid at the same time. I have both arms does that make me a legend for not losing the other?
And if your saying that he has an extremely high pain tolerance then your wrong he would feel that pain just as much as any of us he just acted instead of getting caught up in the moment that is all i mean should I brake a glass on my head to show that I can take it meanwhile I get a concussion or should I think about what’s smarter and then go through with what’s better.

Amazing as it is what he went through, it was a poor decision to reach inside the machinery in the first place, and unfortunately, cost him his arm and nearly his life. I'm afraid I don't aspire to be like someone who exercises poor judgement like this. Credit to him for handling it like a boss in the desperately critical situation he found himself in.

I actually had a relative who did the same thing, with the same accident a long time ago. Never underestimate the toughness and nerves of steel of a farmer.

When He gave some details about the way he cut his arm my arm started to burn and feel itchy and it hurt,man that’s terrible I can’t even imagine going through it- he’s like a real champion
Note that he actually shows his forearm dropping on that metal plate, so
he probably had to snap two bones - radius and ulna. Yikes.
It could have been the humerus as well, given he has a prostethic elbow, but that could have been from surgery.
Either way, his balls weigh more than both of his arms.

This is freaking unbelievable. This man is the most brave, strong, and resilient man I’ve ever seen. Just hearing this story gave me the starkest anxiety. Hats off and all kudos to him.
His story makes me completely speechless, the braveness he showed in that situation is beyond any words. The mental strength he had to put his other healthy hand in that exact position on the piece of machinery and describe the situation so vividly is insane. His story should be shown to all the people out there on the streets who burn down buses and harass people just because they think the world oppresses them and that they've had it tough in life. Hats off to this man!

This man’s story reminds me of that of Aron Ralston. For those that don’t know, Aaron Ralston survived a canyon climbing accident in 2003 when his arm got wedged between a boulder and the slim canyon wall. After 6 days of starvation and thirst Aron took a multi tool (like Sampson with his knife) and jammed it into his forearm, cutting away at the muscle and tissue, but not before breaking his arm to cut all the way through. Both men are incredibly brave for surviving these situations.
And he got a movie called "127 hours"
Great movie… the vein part was painful and it so badass that he didn’t stop he fought through and later continued to climb at the Grand Canyon
I don’t usually comment on TH-cam videos, but to do what this guy did took a lot of mental strength and will power. Huge respect for him and I wish the best for him in life. Can’t imagine the amount of pain he went though that day.

Watching him retell his story and showing us how it happened by putting his arm back in there gave me anxiety and it wasn’t me. How he overcame the physical and emotional trauma of that experience is incredible! Even though the machine is off it still is hard to watch and hear him tell his story.
What a wonderful man, sharing a traumatic cautionary tale. Thank you for your levelheadedness and your concern for your family in those moments. You are a strong, strong human being.

Quite possibly one of the most amazing stories of a man who saved himself. He absolutely refused to let that be the end because of how much he wanted to keep living with his family, and not let them find him like that, and all the other pressure of what it would mean if he disappeared from their life.
You saved yourself, my guy. You did it alone and with no help. In a situation most would deem hopeless. Survival instincts at 1000%.

I hope the profits from this video go to this amazing man. The story caused me to have physical pain throughout my body. I mean burning throughout my body. I have debilitating (at times) peripheral sensory neuropathy, so I feel a lot of pain. A burning, tingling sensation in my joints and extremities. More severe at times than others and plenty of time where the pain is negligible. I still can’t imagine having to go through what this man did. In the throes of death, he held on for dear life. This is the second inspirational video I have watched today. I believe I was meant to experience them. I do have this never-give-up mentality, and surely there are times when I feel like throwing in the towel. So watching these videos made me again realize how precious life really is.
