NOTE: As I said, this obviously are just games I played, I did play Hades 2 and No Rest For The Wicked. Hades 2 is probably a top 10 game but it's not the full game, so I'll hold off till it fully releases and is probably my GOTY 😂
I don’t agree with Life Is Strange as the “Best Games Of 2024.” I did play the game and I was kinda disappointed because the story felt completely rushed and it doesn’t feel like a Life Is Strange game. It’s by far the weakest entry (not the worst) in the series.
Totally fair lol. It's just my list. I do think it was actually fine for most of the game. The 15-30 tier isn't spectacular, could have gone a lot of different ways
I haven't played any of the games on the list, so I can't comment on them. I am working now through Indiana Jones, and I purchased Metaphore, so that is up next. Indie so far has been incredible, really takes me back to my childhood when I watched the movies. I love Persona, so I'm thinking Metaphore should be right up my alley. I am planning to get FF Remake and Rebirth at some point, probably towards summer on a sale. I'm gonna have my hands full with KCD2 (which I already pre-ordered) and Avowed. Great video BTW.
for me, marvel rivals has quickly shot up within my top 6 of the year (#6 lol) otherwise our top 5 is almost identical just some stuff swapped around. great stuff
For a year that in some peoples mind (not mine), it's been a poor year for games. But yet somehow I have managed to play lots of good and above average games this year, and some that are not in this list. I had initially missed Rise of Ronin and Flintlock from my list, both are good / reasonable games
i played 5 games that releases this year ff7 rebirth astro the last of us part 2 remastered sillent hill 2 remake and until dawn remake my game of the year is rebirth silent hill 2 was my first full silent hill game and wow fantastic gameplay and story astro was fun hoping the future is including more games like this Hopefully something sly is coming the last of us 2 remastered i enjoyed the improvements made i loved until dawn i had recently played the og so i thought get the remake solid year

The problem with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown lies in its fundamental disconnect from the franchise's core fanbase. While it’s true that the original Prince of Persia was a side-scroller, the series gained its true notoriety and lasting fanbase with the Sands of Time trilogy. Fans have been yearning for a game that captures the magic and grandeur of that era, yet Ubisoft has delivered a side-scrolling platformer that feels worlds apart from what the audience truly wants. This misstep is exacerbated by the poorly received reveal and delay of the Sands of Time remake, which many had pinned their hopes on. It raises an important question: who was this game made for? Regardless of its quality or potential fun, the project fails to address the demands of the loyal fanbase. Before experimenting with new concepts, the franchise needs to prioritize honoring the legacy that fans have been waiting to see revived.
Well for me I didn’t play as much game this year other than FF7 Rebirth, Marvel Rivals, The First Descendants, and Shadow Generations that about it there with a few more I haven’t got to yet hopefully I can down the line
My top 4 i can think of 1. Stellar Blade 2. Astro Bot 3. FF7 Rebirth 4. Silent Hill 2 remake Stellar Blade and Astro Bot are very close for 1st place. I hope we get sequels for both
Yeah it's pretty funny lol. I don't even think it's controversial. I think maaaaaybe having LIS in there, and having Helldivers not higher were my main controversial things, which it's like....o well lol
