My idea for a AvP3 movie is as follows: Weyland-Yutani has required the Yatuja technology. They have both a bunch of weapons and have captured several ships after setting a trap in the jungle where Weyland-Yutani has discovered that the Yatujas use to hunt human soldiers. They set course for the Yatuja homeplanet. That would be so awesome with these comic books as alien vs. predator series. I would definitely love that! But I still love alien vs. predator (2004) film.
AvP should have been an Aliens spinoff with a predator thrown in the mix, with the ending setting up a sequel inspired from the Capcom arcade game. A winning franchise from there..
The Sentinel You mean the ‘Infinity War’ of the franchise. ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ was just a bunch of jokes, nothing else, just like Shane Black’s ‘The Predator’.
They should do a predator movie where they show the other predators harping on the assholes who fly to earth to hunt the local wildlife. Their Preda-Twitter feeds would be epic.
The setting of AvP was the worst the writers could possibly have chosen, utterly, abysmally nonsensical. Both films make it very clear that Predators only rock up when it's really hot so setting the film in arctic conditions is just baffling and wrecks the continuity. I think the film's worth watching for the fight scenes but that's about it. I'm with you on the second one :]
Pg 13 fat preds a story lifted from the original comic which was a bad ass comic just wasn't executed well and holy shit ADI pred faces...Ouchhhhh. Yea first one was pure garbage. Paul Anderson destroys everything he touches
First avp only suffered from it's pg-13 rating it didn't do the film justice at all...the second one suffered from shit characters and being literally unseeable for the most part
@Litshttam Haha, how condescending. Well done. The point is that there's areas of the world that were always more suitable because they were roasting hot before the ice age and are still hot now. Africa springs to mind. South America, where's there's already ancient pyramids to boot. But no, you're spot-on, we'll go with the frozen south because no-one will expect that. lol.
Damn man... if they made/make it, people will show up. If not in theaters, it WILL be streamed. I am one of the many--albeit the minority--that has watched and loved each and every film in the Predator, AvP franchise. I really enjoy the Aliens franchise sans A/3 or whichever one it was that took place on the XYY chromosome prison camp. The plot for this film SOUNDS like it would've been an awesome film. The mere experience of watching the Predator/s appear on screen usually seen for the first time as they expose themselves to the protagonist via light bending camouflage to their actual selves with the nightmare inducing face mask. Its one of the most iconic sequences in film history! Love it everytime
So far the best AVP story I've read is the original Dark Horse comic. The only thing that would need to be tweaked is the Alien birthing from big snakes and cows, since Alien3 established the gene transfer plot device. Or keep that plot point, and have snake and bull Aliens. Either way I still thin the the Dark Horse AVP story is one of the best.
You said that there was no way that they could've known about the Alien Queen in AVP1, but you forget, one person did survive, Alexa Woods. She walked to the last tractor at the end of the movie and she wasn't far from the ship. She could've told Weyland Industries about the Aliens, and they could've have recovered her Alien head shield and possibly Scar's mask. Also, one thing I thought would've been interesting if Yutani Corp. bought out Weyland Industries and got their information about the Aliens and the Predators. I also once had this vision of a story where they find the Alien Queen frozen in a block of ice and she breaks free. But I gave up the idea of an AVP3 and think it would've been best to have a reboot instead.
The autistic child didn't bother me, he wasn't full on rain man, like the kid in Mercury Rising. The suit was idiotic, as was the predators harvesting DNA. The rest I enjoyed, it was on par with the rest of the predator movies. None of the predator movies were great, even the original was not great- bad acting, cheesy dialogue, bad effects, over the top action, the idiotic minigun with only enough ammo to last maybe a minute, miniguns fire 3000 rounds per minute, and a host of other problems- but Arnie and the cast made it fun. We don't remember the original as a good movie, we remember how we felt watching the movie.
@@arndnaj predator 4 is not even close to being on par with the rest of fhe franchise, the story has FAR too many characters, the plot is convoluted with so much sh*t, the humour is childish, and the absolute disrespect that was done tinfhe lore is absolutely unforgivable, if this franchise is to continue they need to completely retcon this film from the canon, not just because its a literal mockery of the franchise but also because of lore reasons
I think an AVP film under the Disney banner would be most likely to be less of a gamble on their part. Of course it would have to be treated with more respect and care than AVP-Requiem.
I would like someone to make the predator rage war series into movies. It’s in the future. Predators kind of win as they help humans. Lots of kick ass battles plus we would get to see more of the underused colonial marines.
Lots of potential in this series. Maybe they should have a few fans create a movie script. They couldn’t screw it up any worse than the last couple attempts!

There was an other story by the Brothers Strause. I quote: "What was the plan for the third Aliens Versus Predator movie? We heard that you wanted it to lead directly into Ridley Scott's Alien. Greg Strause: The original ending for AVPR, that we pitched them, ended up on the alien homeward, and actually going from the Predator gun, that you see at the end, it was going to transition from that gun to a logo of a Weyland-Yutani spaceship that was heading to an alien planet. And then we were actually going to cut down to the surface [of the alien planet] and you were going to see a hunt going on. It was going to be a whole tribe of predators going against this creature that we called "King Alien." It's this huge giant winged alien thing. And that was going to be the lead-in, to show that the fact that the Predator gun [at the end of AVPR] is the impetus of all the technological advancements that allowed humans to travel in space. Which leads up to the Alien timeline." Source: io9.gizmodo.com/5675883/the-third-aliens-vs-predator-movie-would-have-served-as-a-prequel-to-alien" I think you can still find a discussion about it in some forums. It kinda fits to your Video. First set in africa and then moving into space.

i love this movie make a crossover game between akame ga kill and suicide squad i also love aliens vs predator requiem and aliens vs predator i want them to make a predator vs rwby crosover movie franchises
As much as I love the AVP games, particularly AVP 2 that came out in 1998 on the PC, those games take place in the future, and EVEN THEN we were still getting our asses kicked by Predators. While the human campaign was the most balance in terms of what weapons you had when fighting Aliens and Predators, the Predators were extremely OP, most of their weapons, as well as their healing abilities, were energy-based, and so they had an energy device that COMPLETELY replenishes their energy. I suppose the drawback that needs mentioning is that when the Predator is healing himself or using the energy device, they're temporarily left vulnerable until the process is done, but most of the time players use them when they're nobody around, so that "drawback" didn't affect players much. I can't speak for multiplayer, since at the time I mostly played games on consoles, and even then, the only multiplayer games I played were fighting and racing games, but for the story, the Predators were VERY OP, and therefore the most satisfying to play in the games.
The studios should really give AVP another shot but here are several things they need to do to make it successful: give the movie and any sequels an R rating, pay attention to continuity, watch the other films and pay attention to the previously established traits of the Aliens and Predators, make sure to build as much suspense as possible during each scene where the titular monsters are, be sure the Predators are badass, set the movie in a location that makes sense, have the characters think rationally, make the characters interesting and recognizable, and one of the most important things: have the protagonist say “You are one ugly mother fucker.” To pay homage to the original Predator
Hybrid Theory I personally didn’t like either of the AVP movies very much and while the first one was definitely better than Requiem it still sucked if you ask me any way. But if you liked that movie I won’t judge you
As a fan more of the Alien than the Predator, the problem I always had when they ever brought these two together - & this goes right back to the Dark Horse comics, was that 9 times out of 10 the Alien would get it's biomechanical arse handed to it by the Predators in nearly every fight! - given that they intentionally breed these creatures because they deem them the ultimate prey, the ultimate hunting test if you like, the Predators seem to take them down extremely quickly & easily, hardly a challenge at all, even an unarmed Predator seems to barely break a sweat taking on multiple Aliens at once! - & winning!! Even the 'novice' Predators of the 1st AvP movie - granted the 1st two Predators were both killed by the 'grid' Alien - but then we are led to believe this Alien is like an 'alpha' - an exception to the rule - & even it barely won against the 'celtic' Predator & the Alien was on the back foot for most of that fight! So for me, I would rather they not make any more AvP projects, it's just embarrassing watching the poor old Alien come off second best time & time again - don't get me wrong, I do like the Predator in its own right, but it does come off a lot of the time as the 'favourite child' as fans go when these two 'fight' I would just rather it was a case of never the twain shall meet!
I've always found the Yautja and Xenomorphs incredibly interesting. Although the last avp and predator films were lacking in several ways that don't inspire much confidence in getting sequels greenlit. Personally, I loved Alien Covenant, but I had a hard time maintaining hype for The Predator as I was watching it...The Iron Man predator suit was cool (but out of place/random to the cinematic narrative), and the cat and mouse game between predators could have spanned over more of the film though. And it would've benefitted more from it imo. I'd love to see any new Alien/Predator films and stories tossed into the two intermingled anthologies.
If Aliens cannot survive depressurization, then it’s unlikely the Queen in AVP could survive the pressure of abyssal depths. The amount of pressure at those depths crush steel structures and frames lol. Steel weapons can cut aliens. So if steel cannot withhold those pressures, neither can an Alien if I am not mistaken lol. Maybe I am, I ain’t no physicist or mathematician
We haven't had colonial marines since Aliens and I want to see them mowing down Xenomorphs as much as I do a single creature stalking people in confined spaces. So much room in this universe.
I love the comic books I just don't see the point in making movies unless they did make it set in the future way after the time line of the original alien and predator movies.
yeah if they did it as a predator 2 type of thing, but it doesn't really fit since suburbs aren't exactly prime hunting grounds for the strongest humans at their toughest. Unless it's "the predator" which I don't really consider canon anyway.
I bet the VR would take off bring sales thru the roof with major blockbuster movies scifi horror and superhero comicbook icons coming to VR if gameplay is executed well as expected
a good way to use the Aliens vs Predators 3 in the film would be having them used by Wayland Yutani as a means control populations or eliminate rebels cells each one has a means to be control with bomb inside their heads or collars the below up when detonated but now they lost control of them
Why oh why cant they just do a AVP movie set in the future featuring xenomorphs, predators and colonial marines fighting on some distant planet the humans have settled on..... Big guns, big monsters. Big action. Simple.
I think The predator could have been better if they made the classic predators a clan if their own and the predators who upgrade themselves like the ultimate predator to be from another clan. This way they can explore nee ideas while sticking ti the original predators we all know and love.
As far as "reclaiming tech"...remember Scarface from Concrete Jungle..yes..other Yautja had attempted and failed, either captured or killed, BUT...it was a full century passed before Scarface was accepted back into the clan..and allowed a chance of redemption to reclaim his honor.
What I wanted from this franchise was the dark horse comics. Aliens vs predators in some colony planet. There is a 90s arcade game that was awesome. Humans send a distress signal into space due to the aliens and predators intercept and indirectly help the colony by joining the Colonial marines to fight the alien infestation.
I don't know many things about these franchises, but I'm pretty sure that AVP:R is set in 2004, because is set directly after The original AVP from 2004.
All we need is a AVP reboot that can or cannot tie-in with both series. Have a interesting story set on either Ancient Times, Space or a Retro-Spaceship. And give us great brutal fight scenes and no more Alien mutations or dumb Hunters this time
Id love to see a standalone predator movie personally starting off as a child and maybe over a movie or so he turns into an elite maybe a series and eventually it could lead into an avp film this franchise as a hole with its fan base should rival marvel only r rated but now Disney owns itb🙄
The first AvP movie was decent enough. The 2nd was awful but at least I liked its locations. I wouldn't mind to see another AvP film. It can't be worse that AvP Requiem
Dude we need a movie based on the Pred home world in this lifetime!! Lol and Would definitely like to see the female predators in action especially the black widow clan would be dope
I so wish we had an Aliens Vs Predators/AVP III on Xenomorph prime either a briskly paced 2 and a half hour film or a 3 hour epic, I would do the Giant Queen Xenomorphs the King xenomorph, and Xenomorph variants mainstream audiences haven't seen. I would try to think of new Equipment for the Yautja. Maybe set up something about the Xenomorph outbreak on earth because that's a whole other Story that has so much potential The Aliens/Predators series has been so under utilized and I hope to see a comeback soon.
If that first AvP movie had been set in the future on a different planet I think it would be far more highly regarded now. I'd rather see the AvP concept explored more than those silly prequels or where they've now taken The Predator.
They should have based it on three novels/comics with Machiko Naguchi aka Short Knife who eventually joined the Yautja species as the first human Predator.
I don't know what people that dislike the AvP movie franchise are smoking but I think its just as good as Aliens and Predator, the end fight scene in AvP 1 was insanely awesome, and the pool scene and the hospital scene with the blonde from the pool scene was fantastic, the Predator and Alien fight scene at the industrial site in AvP 2 was epic, yes AvP 2 did have things I didn't like about it like the high school sweet heart love story but the good far out weighed the bad.
At the end of The Predator when they opened up that pod and that thing popped out, I honestly thought it was a container for the black goo coz the slime from it absolutely looked like the slime from the black goo containers.

The I am hungry for anything of this universe and I would love to see any other aliens, you aliens vs predator comics turned into movies, especially the very first story of Aliens vs predator! Why is it so hard to turn a comic into a movie? I mean they have it storyboard adore ready and scripted already? So is it about getting the rights to the story or finding somebody to actually produce it or direct it? I think you they wanted to go with the TV series, picking up the very first aliens Dark Horse story would be the way to go with that! Again thank you for always being there with great stuff Mr H!
AvP 5: an unlikely alliance between a solitary Xenomorph & a Yautja held captive by the humans... Their only chance to escape is to work together and if & when they do, will they remain allies or turn into sworn enemies?
To me it seems whenever there was a great idea that majority of the fans get behind, the industry does the total opposite and put out something that conflicts with the fans. In my opinion if you're not much of a fan or at least know something about the franchise and lore how can you remotely produce let alone direct a good movie that will both satisfy those simply interested in a action packed movie and will peak the interest of the fans as well. These movies and franchises that have a significant invested fan base surely deserves a director, producer, studio that understands and appreciate the fan base and also produce a film that will accommodate both the idea of a lucrative venture with a franchise that does bring in enough money yet at the same time continue to peak and keep the interest of the fans that follow this franchise as well. It seems that all the scripts that been scrapped or ideas that have been placed on the back burner seems to have been more attracted to the fan base and to people abroad versus the scripts and ideas that's been put on the screen thus far. If we can get an idea that can be backed up by Fox/Disney, the possibilities would be endless to say the least.
This sounds really interesting, i would have gone for this idea, especially it being set in Africa, a future setting away from the US (where nearly EVERY goddamn sci fi movie is always set), and the whole African wildlife is a cool sandbox to play with regarding the Xenos and propagation of animals.
Having the predator in Africa is such an interesting take. You could almost have it.. So the predator arrives for that hunt, but the culture and spiritual nature of the people end up fearing and worshipping the predator (as in he the one from their tales). This actually leads some political issues where the US and nations don't know why internal wars are not working, and spies end up dying and "skinned". This could lead to US dropping a secret bioweapon - an alien egg and this ensures the inevitable battle between predator and alien This does lead to the end of both, but the impact of the predator on the African culture is deep and they still workshop for his return etc..

And get themselves killed....the scrubs
Would've loved to see this story played out.
This script sounds so neat. This sounds so much better than AVP2.
Tbh first AvP movie wasn't bad at all; and the second's designs were interesting
I agree, they both brought something different and uniqueness to the table.
But no, you're spot-on, we'll go with the frozen south because no-one will expect that. lol.
Yet again Mr H another astoundingly great video, top notch work
Damn man... if they made/make it, people will show up.
I don't give a fuck how bad the movies have been...i just love seeing both on screen together.
Hell yeah it's like a fever dream.come true!
I wish they can make Alien vs. Predator 3 movie
The 2010 video game serves as a sequel as it is set in the same universe as the films.
I would Love to see Hunter's Planet made into a movie! Machiko Naguchi hunting with the predators would be Outstanding.
No autistic child and mech suit.
I wonder why the movie didn't get made.
They should have made Alien Vs Predator 3 movie a direct sequel to AVPR Aliens Vs Predator Requiem not Alien Romulus.
Would be good to see a sequel to predator for once
I would like someone to make the predator rage war series into movies. It’s in the future. Predators kind of win as they help humans. Lots of kick ass battles plus we would get to see more of the underused colonial marines.
Let Neil Blomkamp direct a variation of this.
Lots of potential in this series. Maybe they should have a few fans create a movie script. They couldn’t screw it up any worse than the last couple attempts!
They just can’t get this series going strong. So sad.
Turn it in2 tv show, explore th myths an origins an race war between preds
@@kryoboy1966 wtf no one wants to see a low budget, dramatization of avp. I hate when they turn movie properties in to shows, they always feel cheap and lacking in soul
@@SicSemperBeats dredd, lord of the rings, watchmen, star wars.all these movies gettin tv shows.giv predator a decent director an writer theres lots of stories 2 b told.
kryo Boy i understand that. It’s just that there hasn’t been a movie to Tv adaptation that ive liked yet. Maybe daredevil but season 2 wasn’t that hot imo. I like Jessica Jones though but everything else i haven’t liked(agents of shield, arrow(season 2 and up), flash) it just feels like a lot of the shows are mission soul. I am very excited for dredd though. Judge Dredd always missed out on a good media adaptation whether it was video games, movies etc. hopefully more people catch on to dredd with the show.
There was an other story by the Brothers Strause. I quote:
"What was the plan for the third Aliens Versus Predator movie?
Which leads up to the Alien timeline."

I think you can still find a discussion about it in some forums. It kinda fits to your Video. First set in africa and then moving into space.
That sounds absolutely AWESOME!!!!! They should've gone in that direction, for sure...... AVP 3 w/a logical and direct sequel to AVP 2....... Hollywood has never had LOGIC + COMMON SENSE!!!!
I'm desperately craving AVP3!!!
I just want another avp movie that isn't trash. Also I'd love yo see another aliens vs predator game.
Now DISNEY owns 20th CENTURY FOX maybe we will get a ALIEN VS PREDATOR remake
i love this movie make a crossover game between akame ga kill and suicide squad i also love aliens vs predator requiem and aliens vs predator i want them to make a predator vs rwby crosover movie franchises
My biggest problem with that story outline is that the Weyland and Yutani Corporations didn't merge until AFTER Alien, but before Aliens
the story outline didnt mention Weyland yutani. that was me talking about fan speculation
It's needs to be in the future with Colonial Marines.
I can't speak for multiplayer, since at the time I mostly played games on consoles, and even then, the only multiplayer games I played were fighting and racing games, but for the story, the Predators were VERY OP, and therefore the most satisfying to play in the games.
i've been saying for years that there needs to be an AVP that is just ALIENS and PREDATORS. no humans, no dialogue, just awesome
Maybe put a terminator as a spectator 😂
But if you liked that movie I won’t judge you
I have to admit that's so much amazing setting in Africa.
Not just that, alex in the start mentioned that the temoerature alone can kill you. Then again the queen was frozen in the pyramid
Who says an alien can’t survive that?
We haven't had colonial marines since Aliens and I want to see them mowing down Xenomorphs as much as I do a single creature stalking people in confined spaces. So much room in this universe.
This script would have been great. Sounds more solid than what we have now.
Give me the MOVIE!
Your channel has been on point lately bro👍
I hope they bring sequel to AVPR Aliens Vs Predator Requiem back.
I love the comic books I just don't see the point in making movies unless they did make it set in the future way after the time line of the original alien and predator movies.
Well...Aliens in the present make sense actually...Aliens existed long time ago in ancient times because the Enginners created them long time ago
at least it was not set in the suburbs again, cause predators and aliens just don't belong in that setting
Well, Predator MIGHT be able to work, but you'd have to be really careful with the plot and such...which they didn't really do in Requiem...
yeah if they did it as a predator 2 type of thing, but it doesn't really fit since suburbs aren't exactly prime hunting grounds for the strongest humans at their toughest.
That would be the best idea for the avp movie :)
This would be a great thing to start off
Sweet timing. I brought this up at work today. It better not be another abomination.
Or a T.V show
@@Eshtian yeeeeee
It sounds like it would have been fantastic. Maybe someone can pick up where they left off.
I always wanted to see a film where the Predators come in contact with the Colonial Marines. I'd still love it if that happened, similar to the games.
Having Predator & Aliens injected with a tiny bit of District 9 sounds awesome. Fucking studios. lol
The first AvP movie was decent enough. The 2nd was awful but at least I liked its locations. I wouldn't mind to see another AvP film. It can't be worse that AvP Requiem
We working on the alian vs predator now the 3rd will b so bad as Mary j Blige will b the lead yessss
Dude we need a movie based on the Pred home world in this lifetime!! Lol and Would definitely like to see the female predators in action especially the black widow clan would be dope
This sounds very interesting wish this came to pass would have loved to see this in theaters.
I so wish we had an Aliens Vs Predators/AVP III on Xenomorph prime
either a briskly paced 2 and a half hour film or a 3 hour epic, I would do the Giant Queen Xenomorphs
the King xenomorph, and Xenomorph variants mainstream audiences haven't seen.
I would try to think of new Equipment for the Yautja.
Maybe set up something about the Xenomorph outbreak on earth because that's a whole other Story that has so much potential
The Aliens/Predators series has been so under utilized and I hope to see a comeback soon.
Alien Vs. Predator 3 a sequel to Alien Vs. Predator Requiem it makes me heartbroken.
Great informative video.
Cant belive they fucked the franchise so bad, so sad
elephant xenomorph? yes please!
Wolf from AVPR is my favorite predator on film. Such a bad ass.
@Hybrid Theory I'm not sure I can agree with you there. but we can aggree to disagree and more on or we could pod cast it out.....
At the end of The Predator when they opened up that pod and that thing popped out, I honestly thought it was a container for the black goo coz the slime from it absolutely looked like the slime from the black goo containers.
They do need to reboot of them and put them in the future w the colonial marines
Welcome back H!! It really sucks that both of these ideas were scrapped cause they're both better than the abomination that was alien:covenant!
The question is will we ever see another Predator movie at all?
Mmm what? Didn't you see the new movie?
@@janephoenix4530 | I did and my opinion is a microscopic comparison to all the other people that went to go see it, which is why I made that statement.
+Predator Collectibles ah ok.... My bad haha
@@janephoenix4530 | You're fine. I enjoyed the movie it is not the expansion that I was really looking for, but it was a fun and comedic ride none the less. Predator and Predator 2 will always be my favorites with Predators coming in behind them.
Oh well! Either way I won't stop collecting Predator related merchandise, so at least I can still enjoy that piece of the franchise..
Agreed it would've been nice to see this Plus the Preds, Do need to Win!
Great video Mr H! My idea that I started to write a story for, is the finding of the alien Queen from aliens vs predator in the future by accident. I didn't get it totally scripted out but I started and outline and some story boarding. I've never done anything like this so I don't know how to do it exactly and I don't want to put all my story online, because its my story.
As soon as I saw the title I knew I was gonna like this video.
AvP 5: an unlikely alliance between a solitary Xenomorph & a Yautja held captive by the humans...
Their only chance to escape is to work together and if & when they do, will they remain allies or turn into sworn enemies?
I liked Requiem.
I really hope we never have a unified, global government. It would end horribly.
Wish we could have had these ideas for films realized. Would have helped AVP franchise.
I’m hopeful. I would love to have seen this for sure.
This sounds really interesting, i would have gone for this idea, especially it being set in Africa, a future setting away from the US (where nearly EVERY goddamn sci fi movie is always set), and the whole African wildlife is a cool sandbox to play with regarding the Xenos and propagation of animals.
I like both AVP movies am still Hopi for AVP3
Our only hope is if Disney leave a part of Fox studios for R rated and odd projects.
This could lead to US dropping a secret bioweapon - an alien egg and this ensures the inevitable battle between predator and alien
This does lead to the end of both, but the impact of the predator on the African culture is deep and they still workshop for his return etc..
