I don’t think it is loyalty to Apple hardware but many are loyal to that ios software coz it is simply better designed and app design is better. I personally like Samsung hardware but don’t like Android design. Though I love Android open source coz I can sideload apps which I can’t do on ios.

    • @rano12321

@@pinakmiku4999 design is subjective. most other apps tend to copy apple's design to therefore using an iphone often feels more cohesive with other apps. and if you are taking about ux then there are more pointless stuff in ios than android, there's no universal back button/gesture, the camera settings are hidden deep in the phone settings menu just to name a few. also not everyone prefers software that just looks better but it should work, for most people their phones and computers are tools not toys.

Great key points! Although it's too late, I already have one. 😂
I kind of lean towards the box design as it is the only one in the market that makes it distinct from others.
The camera needs a software update. It's good but not great and definitely lacking in camera hardware.
Coming from Pixel OS, I hate the app drawer with horizontal scroll and the lack of direct access to search. I dislike having to tap the search bar every time I want to open an app. Do they really expect users to swim through all the apps? Or access that search bar on top?

    • @ThisIsTechToday
      @ThisIsTechToday  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Thanks! I know a lot of creators in this small scene and a lot of viewers make assumptions about us being sponsored by phone companies and it mostly comes down to people not liking what they’re hearing and having their own bias that leads to the assumption that phone companies are sponsoring them when in fact phone companies hardly ever sponsor tech creators.
Additionally, tech creators are statistically far more strict and transparent about sponsors than any other category of creators out there, so any assumptions a viewer has about sponsorships that are not disclosed is likely against the result of viewer not hearing what their bias wants to hear.
The only sponsorships I see phone companies do are from OnePlus with photography creators to make content about the camera, which is clearly disclosed. Google only has sponsored events is one of the most strict about disclosures of any of them to the point that they over disclose beyond what is necessary by the FTC and what is reasonable to disclose to the point it may appear they’re paying everyone for everything when in fact they only provided a phone or travel for something. Still, they never have influence over a review and make sure to never do that. Apple never sponsors anyone for anything unless it’s a celebrity or major artist performing at the Super Bowl. Samsung never sponsors reviewers for anything. They may license comments and segments of reviews after the fact or pay a streamer or Mr beast to promote something. Oppo owns OnePlus and does the photographer thing only. Never seen Xiaomi or Oppo sponsor any content. They may pay for travel and that allows you to cover something but that is always event or photo tour related be even then it’s limited to only TikTok and Instagram. Vivo has never sponsored anyone that I’ve ever heard.
That essentially leaves no one sponsoring tech creators
Hope that helps and that you don’t falsely accuse any of my peers or myself of being dishonest when they’re not.

I love Android, especially Samsung. I've been considering getting a new phone, but there's a complete deal breaker for me: I've never been able to get voice commands to work using the Gboard keyboard. Since I dislike the other keyboards available on Android, I don't really have a solution.
I've always stuck with iPhone because of this issue. The voice command on iPhone may not be the best-neither as fast nor as effective as on Android-but at least it works.
If anyone has a solution that works, I'd be ready to switch back to Android, because the Galaxy S24 Ultra is really tempting me.
The only Android phone where I find that voice commands work right out of the box is on Google's Pixels. The problem is that I don't necessarily want a Pixel; I generally prefer Samsung, especially their high-end models.
It not only allows me to write much faster to many different people, but I am also disabled, so it's much less exhausting for me to speak than to type long texts by hand

8:45 i feel like this is an incredibly important point about samsung cameras that rarely gets mentioned in reviews. Anyone that's ever tried to take pictures of their kid indoors with less than optimal lighting knows just how awful these are in that scenario. Pixels in comparison absolutely knock this out of the park upwards of 90% of the time in my personal experience. This, and lack of call screen from the pixel, have driven me away from the otherwise amazing Galaxy Ultra phones

The S-Pen is affected by magnets. Most cases, including the ESR one, will not have a magnet strong enough to affect S-pen performance. When you place it on an accessory, then you'll run into some issues with any MagSafe/Qi2 accessory because of how big and strong the magnets are. This is something that Samsung didn't add support to, and I'm unsure how they'll do it since Magnets are essential for this standard and it hurts performance of the S-Pen. If you take the accessory off though, you should be fine.

    • @bchery1

S24 is the phone for me that makes me wanna switch back to an Android. Been using an iPhone for the past 5 years, and the bugs in the iOS in the recent years has made me mad. I mean, some bugs were tolerable, but the accumulation of endless amounts of bugs, accompanied by the fact that I am using an “old” iPhone 12 Pro makes me wanna switch even more.
Android has been the best option if you wanna keep your phone for longer, heck, I had Samsung Note 5 as my past phone, until I switched to iPhone 7 that my dad owned, then to iPhone 12 Pro that I purchased by myself, and iPhone 12 Pro, in its initial years was so good, until iOS 16 came out, and then, the plethora of bugs that followed with it.
I have to accumulate money in order to purchase a S24, but, in the time that I will purchase it, S25 would be coming soon. So, I’ll be getting an S25 Ultra instead, as I so badly wanna go back to my roots as a Samsung Note user. And as I am typing this, my keyboard on my iPhone is lagging so bad. I just hate iPhones now! They’re not what they used to be at all!
But still, I’ll be keeping an iPhone though for my business use, and Samsung will be my daily driver. I’m also planning to trade in this iPhone 12 Pro, and getting a 16, maybe 17 plus instead, so that both my phones are USB Type C.

As far as the Note design, no I'm not a huge fan of it. Those corners look good IMO but they're definitely not comfortable in the hand 😅
And I'm not a fan of flat screens either. I mean it's great for screen protectors but it doesn't feel great. Every time I swipe I can feel the screen protector and it's not awesome. The curved glass feels much better.

I'm having a really difficult time with Apple right now I have all their products I have the Apple Watch Ultra which I really like probably my favorite Apple product and then I have my iPhone 15 Pro Max Win terabyte I have a MacBook Pro I have a 2018 iPad Pro Still works great but here's my issue. There's no multitasking on my phone which is killing me and my iPhone 15 Pro Max feels exactly like my iPhone 13 Pro Max, which felt like my iPhone 11 felt like my iPhone X and so many ways. I don't know if I'm going crazy, but it's really hard to buy the same phone over and over again and Siri is complete garbage and I really want company is going to lean into AI and also lean into strong features like multitasking and things that Samsung is doing and I think someone said it when they said Apple wants to sell you multiple products so if they make one product better than the other product, you might just buy one product. I feel that way about the iPhone if it were as good as the Samsung phones with multitasking in AI maybe wouldn't buy that tablets me know your thoughts I'm just getting bored with Apple and I feel like they never really innovate that much and I'm use all their default apps because I try to support the stock situation but I really find myself bored. Let me know if you can help me through this, I wonder if I should get a Samsung S24 ultra or S25 ultra down the line to feel something different.
Have you guys ever felt this way here's another thing voice texting on iPhone is painful. I remember having android phones and really appreciating how accurate the voice texting was that actually actually bumps me out about Apple to. Also, how can you sell? A premium smartphone has to have such a terrible assistant. Siri literally feels like they just forgot and literally don't care anymore.
Thoughts 💭 make it make sense I didn't wanna leave Apple, but I feel like apples leaving me and it's really hard to make sense of it all right now.
