      Yes, but I have basically understood iPhone seems fine. Didn’t like the bit about Samsung corners digging into palms. I expected to hear more about specs not including cameras, focal lengths & so on. On to find another vid -

      I have both, and it ALL comes down to the ecosystem. I have an all Apple ecosystem so the S24 is worthless, until I find an exclusive use for it. So for me, the iPhone 15 Pro is better.
      iPhone, Galaxy S24, Google pixel 8 Pro. They are ALL 100% dependent on their respective ecosystems.

    • @BuddyFox
      @BuddyFox 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +28

      It's because at this point it's all preference. There really is no true "better". Specs are largely the same. All the companies care about is showing you the back of the phone. Anyone who says definitively one is better is lying to themselves out of brand loyalty. Apple fans will say "lol green text bubble" and Android fans will say "lol Apple just bad". Just get the phone you want more.

But if push comes to shove, I’ll switch to Android. Seriously if you were out on a date, would you be comparing phone specs with your date’s phone? Go out and live!

    In the US nobody switches from Apple to Android unless you're somewhat a tech enthusiast. It's overwhelming apple here. Even if the phone is bad. I work in the industry and it's funny how many people will complain about their iPhone and the moment you recommend another device they get quiet and stop complaining 😂. They would rather live in their little walled garden than improve their experience.

      It’s really, really hard to switch though when 90% of who you’re interacting with also owns an iPhone. I tried the pixel fold because i wanted something different and damn was it a pain to just get my photos on there, on top of that none of my albums were saved so its just thousands of misplaced files. Rcs is great and better than WhatsApp but just not as cool as iMessage yet. It was a very lonely experience as much as i liked the phone so i had to trade it in for the 15 pro max.

    Recently, I switched from an iPhone to the S24 Ultra and all the quality-of-life features make it, in my opinion, 1000x better, even the AI features that he claims you wouldn't use often. I mean, just being able to correct texts and messages of grammar and spelling mistakes or being able to translate something immediately on the screen with the circle to touch. Tbh at this point it doesnt even make sense to have an iphone anymore when a device like the s24 ultra exists.

    • @kaiichinose9590
      @kaiichinose9590 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +33

      I agree. Both are great but the quality of life features on the samsung make the device easier to use because you can tailor it to your needs much easier. I have both the 15pm and s24u. No fan boy just speaking from my experience of using both ios and one ui side by side for the better part of 13 years. Can't really go wrong with either, but if I could only have one it would be samsung.

    • @kaiichinose9590
      @kaiichinose9590 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @innnews6299 I think the devices last as long as the devs support them and also users. My mom had the galaxy s6 and didn't upgrade till the s20u. Phone still works. I've never had either samsung or apple devices really go bad on me. Except my iPhone 6 when Apple deliberately slowed the phones down on purpose. But no issues since then. My favorite iphone so far was my Sierra blue 13pm. My favorite galaxy device was the note 8. Now currently being succeeded with the 15pm and s24u. I give Sammy props for coming a very long way. But I usually upgrade every year cause it's my hobby but I kept my s21u which was another design fav for me and it works like new.

    i swiched from iphone to android after being with iphone for so long and honestly its been pretty good so far. (iphone 12 to s24 ultra) the screen is really nice and i dont really mind not having imessage and facetime. i use instagram video to video call my gf instead. the android is really cool and allows alot of customization and i actually prefer the touch id more than the face id because its fast. touch id works with my bank app and other apps if they have it. honestly i recommend to get the s24 ultra if you dont use facetime or dont care for imessage that much. its a good phone and the screen makes watching content more enjoyable. the only downside is that i dont have a fast charger and it can take more than an hour to fully charge but i ordered one so im going to see if that helps out. oh i forgot to mention you can charge other phones with your phone wirelessly on the backs of the phones. that was a woah moment for me. you can prob get alot of cool points from your partner or friends after showing them that. im from the US btw

    I’ve learned to like how boring my iphone is because of it’s consistency. I’m using an iphone 13 pro max coming from a Samsung Note and my last 2 phones were mid-rangers from Xiaomi. I love the customization of android. My iphone on the other hand has been boring but great in many ways like gaming, the cameras and most especially battery life. It’s been 2 years and even at 86% battery health I still get a full day of mid to heavy use. Let me be honest I’m planning to get a Samsung Fold cause I do miss the nerdiness in me using an android phone but for now an iphone is still an iphone and people will still look at you as sophisticated even if it’s the total opposite.

      Great perspective, I have my 15pm and s24u. I daily my s24u and my 15pm I use for video and editing via my Mac mini. For daily use the s24u or plus is better for me because of the quality of life features not just customizing. Both devices are great and I'm not locked down into any ecosystem which is the best part. I don't think people see me as more sophisticated using an IPhone, that's just silly. Never buy a product because of what you think people will perceive you as, you as a person and the way you carry yourself and interact with others makes the difference. Both phones are great and people should stop the who is better war lol. It all comes down to preference.

      How consistent is that cell signal cause countless iphones have terrible cell reception my s24 ultra destroys my iPhone 13 which for the whole two years had terrible cell signal and wierd bugs too lags with the keyboard and gets much hotter. This is something since at least 11 and even older. Plus 7 years of os and security on samsung now apple better keep it to that or more to compete plus apple products become obsolete and unusable when old enough where as apps can always work on even a 10 year old android or windows.

    5:24 I agree that face ID is usually just a simple easy experience. Effortless most of the time. One thing ruins it for me. Those moments when you know it's not going to work. Face half buried in a pillow, new pair of sunglesses, or back in the year we were all wearing facemasks before they finally added functionality. There's no way to skip that face ID or just bring up the keypad for your PIN by choice. You just have to sit there and let it fail to read your face until it decides you get to enter a code. Hate that.

    At this point the only reason why an iphone user might hesitate to switch to android is because of their ecosystem, because most of their friends/family might have an iphone and things like that, it is def not because it's a better phone. All of these phones are great and they all have improved on every aspect. But it is really not difficult to switch to android from iphone i've been doing it for years. Now i'm super happy with my s24 ultra titanium gray, it is simply amazing and i don't feel limited like i do with the iphone.

      Can you explain the ecosystem thing? I really don't understand it. Samsung has a great ecosystem and it connects very well. I also don't get the texting thing.....why is it a big deal that someone buys an iPhone for texting? That just doesn't make sense to me.

    • @amirstoudamire1390
      @amirstoudamire1390 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@camonly849 I suppose it's more about people who are already invested in Apple's ecosystem (iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, etc.) and wouldn't want to rebuy everything on Samsung's end just to get a similar experience. Plus some people may just like the Watch and Mac better than the Android/Windows alternatives which would make them hesitant to switch.

    • @MaxUlfhednar
      @MaxUlfhednar 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@camonly849 That is a perfect explanation. Android's newest and best phones will always have more and cooler features, which may later be adapted to the Apple ecosystem. But if you are in the Apple ecosystem and your family/friends use it, Apple just has a better ecosystem for that. All your gadgets work perfectly together, and you won't experience the typical Android frustration with apps working less fluidly than iOS. You will always have products that do exactly what they're supposed to, without extremely personalized futuristic features that maybe only 1% of Android users really use. Don't forget, you don't need the best or newest features; you need a phone that works great and makes your day easier. So, if you are in the Apple ecosystem with family, work, and friends, it would just be a better all-day experience with the iPhone :) But if all your friends are tech-savvy and use various brands and gadgets, you might have more fun with Android.

    One thing I really dislike with Apple's bigger models is they don't utilize that extra screen space. If I compare they layout and everything between the Pro Max and the Mini it is all the same. Whereas Samsung, now also thanks to their big foldables, really take advantage of every single inch of the screen, and when you compare something like base S24 to the Ultra, you notice the difference right away. I wish Apple really did something with the Pro Maxes, since all they are now is just a bigger version of the smaller phone, with just a bigger display and battery...

    What's funny is when people watching respond and the uploader and like minded individuals label the commenter's as fans, maybe some of these comments are technically sound assessments. The truth is you know when the critique is subjective, the ultra has no limits so once you say an iPhone can do something it can't, we know right away you don't know the device and either aren't willing to learn or care to give it proper kudos. Navigation functionality again what flavor do you prefer, both have the same amount of pros and cons, video and picture same thing, is one significantly better in those areas, of course not, what it all comes down to is money and total capability when addressing tech objectively. Yes in these videos the uploader will casually give credit where it's due but we all know what It sounds like when someone knows tech and the subjects. This video is a personal opinion of someone who's not ready to give another device a chance based on personal comfort and not technical assessment. That's fine but it's not accurate and as someone who appreciates accuracy anything less can be labeled in many negative ways

      @@Luisgarcia-fn3bn alright i’ll give proof this time. I own both, the s 24 ultra and 15 pro max. firstly, most games release earlier on the iphone. that’s common knowledge. secondly, geek bench is not a very convenient way to test their power, cus they switch around a lot, I’ve seen so many vids where iphone wins and many where samsung wins. next, game developers generally release higher performance options on iphone, even over gaming android phones. like there’s some call of duty game on phone, and in that, only iphone has the extreme graphic settings option. also, most professional gamers usually use ipads or iphones to game, like BGMI players. one of the reasons for this is that iphone never drops frames. although it may get hotter than the samsung, it never drops frames. it’s smooth. and also, looking at the chipsets, the a17 pro and snapdragon 8 gen 3 are extremely close at everything. they are both extremely good and extremely similar. the thing that gives iphone an edge is the fact that everything is done by apple, so the chip can be used to it’s full capacity.

Not only can I multi-control my devices like a multi-screen computer, but I get updates from the samsung washer that show up on the phone and TV. You can also prep the settings for the washer and start it from your phone. Samsung dex also turns multicontrol into a power feature along with the ability to split the sounds from different apps between connected devices. Also, the samsung notes app has an ability to share real time changes to a shared note project. My family uses it to go grocery shopping and to add anything to the list while I'm at the store. I have been an Android User my whole life, have changed to Apple from time to time but always went back to iphone.
      I stopped with android when samsung released the S22 ultra with exyones once again, did not upgrade from S21ultra, was rly angry and felt «let down» in a way, so i waited for S23ultra.
      I pre ordet that when it came and i ofc got the Screen defect in right corner, struggled with samsung custom service 1 month and 3 weeks to get a replacement, worst custom service ever here in norway, just insane. I got a replacement and phone worked good.
      Then i pre orded the S24 ultra, once again i get a phone brand new with dgm screen/scratches and what not. I feel the air blows right out of me and i once again struggling with samsung for almost 1 month, never get good replys or a good service. And then i just end up sending it back and got me a 15ProMax with apple care +
      Unboxing it and MINT 110% perfect condition, Apple service is also on a TOTAL another level to, they helped me with applecare and setting up/fixing the rest!
      Ofc i miss android features, some of it. But apple us just premium everything i feels just smooth and refined.
      I also got a macbook and airpods, works flawless and also better in some places then the S24ultra / Android
      Im almost 30 years old now, i dont need ofc all that the samsung brings, and i did not use almost half, but i think i liked the thaught that it was there, i used mby half. Splitscreen/spen/dex never almost . But samsung has always been cool and techy devices!
      But atm i see and feel apple has come ALONG way and i think they will be better also!
      Now my mind is at eaz, and i can chill.
      I just want good custom service and a device that is consistent and dont fail me.
      Ofc iphones can come with fualts brand new , but samsung is RLY bad at this, its a lottery everytime and its feels stressing, atleast for me and many others i now.
      I also had 4 other friends that also got the S24ultra with scrathes/dmg brand new…!
      Rly love this 15ProMax!
      Awsome product and Apple rly is chill and refined!
      Will stay here for a goood while now😃
      And every year they say the apps and camera is more optimized, every fck year. More optimized for social apps etc etc.
      the pics of my 10 month kid looked horrendus on s24ultra and he does not even move fast at all, like what the hell. A object need almost to stand 100% still to take a good pic.
      And the selfie camera / front camera aint near iphone what so ever. Just facts.
      What i rly wish was that samsung stopped release a phone for just 1 year, and worked an intire year just on software and camera optimizazion fot the phone. Like rly got everything optimized and fixed just like IOS is run ing and behaving.
      Just so frustrating and sad to experience a top/flagship phone from samsung and the OS is not top notch.
      Seems like ppls are just saying: freedom/customizing/dual apps ad once/multitasking and stuff like that as an excuse, instead of actually being honest and actually say straight forward. The OS aint there, the app optimizazion aint there and the camera def aint there at all, sad but true 🙂 !

    Both phones are brilliant. It only matters what is more important for a person because they both have pros and cons. I prefer Apple just because of my family, my ecosystem for study and work, and because the iPhone has some apps and options that Android doesn't have and wouldn't have. I used the S21 Ultra before, and it was a good phone, but my iPhone is more practical for me and has more features that are important for my everyday use. But I believe the jump between the 13 and 15 is not as significant as my upgrade was. If you need to upgrade, go for it. I don't think there would be a big difference between the 15 and 16 because most AI features would be for all new iPhones, and you wouldn't see a substantial hardware update between the two. They are focusing more on things like AI and iOS 18, especially after the 15 Pro, due to new regulations in the EU. ❤️

      I really love my S24 Ultra, especially with the recent update!
      Plus, once you add "good lock" app, customization takes on a whole new level! I love that I waited for 5 years before updating my old Galaxy to the S24 Ultra.
      My other love, is that galaxy can be used in the "galaxy ecosystem" but isn't "tied" down to it like you are with apple.

    Both phones are amazing, boils down to what you want and how you use the phone you have. These kind of comparisons are kinda pointless if someone expects to find "the best phone" after them. I've been a Samsung user for years, they make amazing phones, but I'm switching to Apple this fall, just waiting to see what's the iPhone 16 going to be like. I'm getting either 15 pro max or 16 pro max, if it justifies the price difference.

    For anyone who wants the answer because this is like the 1000th comparison and yet we still don't have really an answer
    so:
    If you're a tech addicted guy who programs and doesn't own any other apple products and you really want that futuristic techie hand device then get the s24 ultra
    If you're a tech addicted guy who programs and you already own airpods, an IPad, an apple watch then get the iphone 15 pro because it makes more sense then.
    Which feels more refined?
    both are equally good in performance minus the single core of the s24 ultra but the s24 ultra has 2 cores more so it makes it as fast as the iphone 15 pro in terms of multicore score
    You can't really compare the GPU'S even if the S24U has by paper more GPU power then it's probably false because the iphone runs on ios and all of the benchmarks works differently. Linux kernel is way different than IOS. its not even related even if google says otherwise. if you have a lil knowledge about OS's then you know the answer,
    if you dig a lil deeper then by technicality and hardware based the A17 PRO has more raw GPU power but the cons are that theres almost no apps or games on the iphone that supports 120 fps and all of the GPU benchmarks on IOS are capped at 59 FPS on the Iphone. So theres basically no way to compare the GPU. so the S24U has way better gaming capability.
    My Mom has the S24U and I have the 15 pro and to be honest theres some things that i like more on the iphone and more on the S24U. And so far I like both phone equally and
    i fuccing hate pro motion. Not 120HZ but apple's 120HZ it makes almost all games stutter even if the game only supports 60HZ. There's no fix for that. What i also hate is the keyboard you can't just touch between letters like on android nonono you haaave to drag your finger on the letter and 90% it's gonna be either in front of the letter you want to change or behind and i fucccing hate that too.
    the 15 pro makes way better videos and zoom is better on the S24U. I like the Display more on the S24U but i also like the dynamic island.
    Also I haven't noticed my Iphone 15 pro overheating actually the S24U gets way hotter in my opinion but Androids always have been hotter than Iphones so i dont care about it.
    build quality are the same by feeling but the corner of the s24U gets on my nerve kinda its too sharp for my liking but my mom prefers it over my iphone so its a preference.
    The iphone 15 pro has better speakers no doubt, way more bass and a lil bit more clearer but the s24u is way louder and the quality is still beyond incredible for a smartphone.
    Keep in mind i did all of the tests myself and its my opinion idc if you give me hate for that. and if i made a mistake then feel free to correct me and if you correct me then give proof for that too also english is my fourth language so sorry if i made grammar mistakes.

    I own a Samsung S23 Ultra for personal use and an iPhone for my business. I don’t know why people rant and rave, bitch and argue about smart phones because essentially they are all the same. They are all too expensive, both operating systems have pretty much the same functionality even though you could argue that android is more open and therefore more flexible. You also have more hardware choices with android but you have better software optimization with Apple and often, slightly more reliable battery behavior if not better battery life. Having said that, Samsung phones for me have outstanding battery and much better than the iPhone I have. My personal personal preference is to use Samsung phones because I love the openness of android and it feels like more of a Swiss Army knife. My iPhone is really good but it feels more like a toy and I feel more and more like this when I sit on the metro surrounded by teenage girls who are all using the same phone as me. Controversial comment but for me android is more essential for running my businesses as the phone is far more flexible especially with Samsung Dex and things like that. The iPhone is good for people who don’t want to think too much and just want something more fisher price with simpler functionality. Also if you are a teenage girl, a soy boy, or just American then you will be happier with an iPhone. That’s just life I guess.

    I have the ipad pro M2 12.9 and also the MacbookPro M3 Pro, and love them both, they are fantastic but I still cant bring myself to buy an iphone rather than Samsung S24 Ultra, and its mainly down to that horrific 'floating island' which destroys looking at anything on the iphone screen.

    "i dont think most people will use this feature" is funny because the Notes/Ultras are for professionals who will use these features. Apple really diluted the meaning of "Pro". If youre traveling a lot, samsung dex is huge as you can have a full fledged computer on any hotel TV.
    Same thing for voice memo transcriptions and note summary. Those are huge for meetings and note taking

    Many reviewers compare S24 Ultra with iphone 15 pro max, but to be honest, 15 pro max is not at ultra level yet. Iphone 15 pro max direct competitor should be the S24+, because both of them have 3 cameras, exactly the same display size, both features top of the line processor (even though S24+ may have different chipset depending on region).
    S24 Ultra is too versatile to be compared to the iphone 15 pro max, with one extra camera, stylus, non reflective display on top of bigger display. Multitasking on S24 Ultra is 10x better than on iphone 15 pro max with ability to do split screen, support for dual apps functionality and multiple simcards. Dual apps is very important if you have multiple numbers on the same phone, which allows you to have dual whatsapp to be simultaneously active on the same phone, something that the iphone has none to offer.
    Oh dont get me started on galaxy AI...

    I switched from IOS to Android and back to IOS and I used android for 10 straight years before switching to IOS for a straight 5 years . Key points
    1. IOS is clean and crisp and easy which Android isnt. Just the fact that you need to swipe thrice from the top to adjust brightness or volume in android where as one swipe from right on IOS does all things
    2.Apps in android maybe more but I would always had to stay anxious for bloatwares. IOS apps on the other hands are more stable
    3. All the android phones literally take 5 mins after getting switched on to get ready. Screens are jittery, apps dont startup on first click. whereas IOS boots up the fastest.
    4. Still not a fan of in display fingerprint scanners coz most times face scans dont work on S24 . Unlocking iphones are super easy and fast
