We people in the U.K. love black liquorice.
Give me a packet of Liquorice All Sorts and I’ll devour the whole lot.
I can definitely see the appeal, but have never been able to grow accustomed to the taste, for the record it’s the same for red licorice too 😅😅😅😅

Murray Mints are also called butter mints and are sometimes seen as a mint to give to a child as it doesn't have such a strong flavour. If you can get hold of the Red & Black Wine Gums, you'll have a unanimous OMD.
Something new to try - Black Jacks and Fruit Salads.
I prefer Spearmint Polos.
The liquorice all-sorts include an aniseed sweet it is blue.
Wine gums have been going for years.
Cadburys UK beats all other chocolate.

we don't really have grape flavoured stuff in the UK, so any sweets/ candy that are purple here are all blackcurrant!

Galaxy chocolate is called Dove in the U.S. Blackcurrant is pronounced black current.
Instead of straight in biting and chewing, try keeping the chocolate on your tongue to allow it to soften. It brings the flavour out.
Cookies are soft, biscuits are crunchy.

You should keep chocolate in the fridge, it’s so much more enjoyable.
Liquorice sweet, chewy, aromatic black substance made by evaporation from the juice of a root and used as a sweet and in medicine and the widely distributed plant of the pea family from which liquorice is obtained. There is no other than the black variety, you eat just Glucose sweets and call it Liquorice because red liquorice rarely contains liquorice extract. Instead, red liquorice is infused with chemicals that impart its cherry or strawberry flavour.
I used to chew a liquorice stick (dried root maybe) when I was a child, loved it. Not seen them for years.

You need to try the Kinder Hippos white and milk chocolate. They taste different and both are so good.

You should’ve tried the round ones (tyres) as you called them, they’re the best as not too muvh liquorice (if you aren’t keen on it) only a small amount in the middle, the outside is coconut
BonBon is a type it just means sweet, (French) We do have a sweet called bonbons in UK toffee balls coated in a shel and icing sugar
Vimto flavoured bonbons are amazing, for me, cadburys chocolate is the best, with fruit and nut, biscuits have to be ginger, great with tea,

As you liked Maynards Wine Gums then you should try the other brands as Maynards are just about the least flavored wine gums there are. Taveners, Lion and even supermarket own brand ones are better.

Murray Mints are perfect for long drives. They taste great snf last a long time so you dont eat too many at a time.

I believe Dove and Galaxy are the same company but just different names. Even the label looks the same.
I enjoy liquorice even straight without the icing coating! We have hard, soft and chews flavoured with it. I'm surprised you chomp on them as they're a sweet for sucking over time!
