Someone said he absorbed 600k people which would be 3 million power assuming each human has a power level of 5, however, what they didn't know is that 3 million power is added to Cell's base power and is multiplied by 50 when Cell turns Super Saiyan as seen with his Super Saiyan aura

Assuming all humans are power level of 5 (which is very generous) that's only a power boost of 3 million, which is 3 times stronger than second form Frieza and as strong as Goku on namek before Super Saiyan
@@foster9315 this is my personal theory, so take it with a grain of salt... but I always assumed that at some point he started getting diminishing returns from absorbing humans, so when he felt powerful enough to go for one android, he dropped the human diet.

I’ve always found 17 getting absorbed so frustrating in both the anime and TFS. Like why does 16 just stand there and let it happen when he clearly has enough power to get there and save 17? Honestly I REALLY wanted to hear Cell's new voice beyond some power up noises, but I think this is the best ending you could have done. Just really sells the sheer "OH FUCK." feelings of the ending.

***** Problem with that is that the weaker guys get in the way, so if someone is on par, or close to being on par with the enemy while the rest are out of their league, they're an obstacle and would be used against the par guy. Now if it's like Broly and EVERYONE is out of their league, charge with all, but with Cell, 16 was almost on par and had the advantages of being a full android, such as not being able to be drained, won't get tired/lose power, if it were a dragged out battle 16 would have won, assuming Cell couldn't muster up enough power to destroy him in one blast.

A Goku v 16 episode would be great - it would have been filled with dry humor, friendly banter about food and birds, mutual friends - but it would have ultimately been sad; These two simple, happy instruments of war are ultimately fighting to the death.
They don’t hate each other, they’re not fighting to protect anything - but they know how it’s supposed to end, and how one of them isn’t coming back.
Would be a funny yet emotional episode.
