For anyone who has this handbrake and uses it a lot. There is a plastic stopper inside of there that keeps the tension between the lever and the spring. Be very careful not to "drop" the handbrake after pulling it because I've had mine explode in my hands. It's going to break eventually but if you want to avoid that you can replace that stopper with a metal washer and then having it explode won't be a problem anymore.
I've also heard of peoples shifters being unreliable but mine has been taken more abuse than I could possibly put it through. Maybe some rattling here and there but just be careful not to loosen or tighten the tension too much and not to flip it into SQ while its in gear.
I just received my replacement handbrake after putting off getting it for over a year 😅 nice to have it back.

haha the handbrake is a lot of fun. I'm finding I'm now handbrake turning probably more corners than I should now 😂
Awesome.. i received my DD Pro premium bundle and shifter this past weekend and love it, might go with the V3 pedals and that same RS wheel you racing with in the video but not sure yet. I get my handbrake tomorrow, I currently have an ebay handbrake which isn't to bad
The V3 pedals definitely look like a good option for the adjustability. The Clubsport RS feels like a grown up regular car wheel but the official GT7 wheel (being small and light)l is handy for the GT7 and pairs well with the 5nm power pack.
@@HamVR I'm going to get them, and I have the 8nm pack and I have to turn down the FFB it's to strong, I have mine on a Next level racing WS 2.0 stand

great video! did everything plug into the base of the DD pro? did you have to use that splitter adapter?
Thanks.. Yes I've got everything plugged directly in to the GT DD Pro. No adaters were needed.
Quality video mate. Interested to know if you tested using the H gears with and without using a clutch peddle. What happens if you try changing gear without using the clutch? Specifically on GT7 but also Dirt rally.

Oh wow your S/N faded too! I received mine yesterday and I pulled it out of its packaging and it was faded! Luckily I was able to just make out the serial number and took a photo but it’s crazy how all the other products S/N’s are printed and this is stamped or something!?!
A bit weird in my opinion but I’ve sent an email telling them about what’s happened and what to do if my serial number was hypothetically rubbed out and if they would still offer a warranty!? Once I get a reply I’ll comment back on what they said to give a heads up just incase :)

@@GFG2gifted Yea they did but all they said is as long as you have a the serial number your all good they did really respond to my question very well at all probably because they are German 🤷🏻♂️ it would be one of those things were it will be a individual story on what they do in regards to have a customers serial number faded

Hi yes it does. I use it briefly in the GT7 demo.
do you need to set up Fanatec Shifter every time if I play GT7 on PS5?
No setup required. It works with both the paddles and the shifter at the same time. You just use the one you want to use.

He has an 8020 design rig. There's so many companies that make that design. I bought a Rigmetal basic for $430 shipped. Love it.

Hand brake is too much of a hassle.... I got sick of fixing mine and just stopped using it...
