Bless up, fixed for me too. Been just dealing with it for months even after watching the video because it seemed like such a hassle. Spent less than $15 total, took me less than an hour and a half from start to finish. Thanks so much
Thank you very much! I was about to buy new pedals because I thought there was no repair for my problem but then I saw you video and decided to try it. Now they work again and I feel like I owe you the 60 - 70 Euros I would have spend without this video.
Brilliant, Did all that and problem solved, Cheers :-) (I did replace the screws under the gripper though, and seen as it was all exposed I added a rubber cube into to the Brake spring; i'm loving the new brake). Thanks again 👍
Well done, I was wondering when you would get to the screews under the carpit gripper that are a 'really someone thought putting more screews there will be fun' moment.
You said 2.5mn key for pedals but it doesn't fit for me, and 2mm is too small. Really don't know what is happening and why it won't go with 2.5 size. I have problem with losing power on throttle.
To anybody with this problem, don't hesitate to try it.. after dealing with this dogshit problem for 2 months after trying everything wd-40 trick really did it
It may or may not be an issue that my WD-40 had its expiration date about 8 years ago.. (there was some dust and unaligments in the cogwheels and i've confirmed that the remainder of my missing brake power is in the potentiometer)
so I got problem with g923 for ps4...and on gt7 throttle jumps between 90% to 100%( not all the time ) when pressed at maximum... is that a problem solving for that?
Having this issue with brand new pedals… is this beyond expectations or just bits of dust etc as I’ve read? Usually over a couple of years this starts happening so I’m a bit confused
I would not expect brand new pedals to have this problem. You might have a faulty potentiometer, in which case I would return rather than try to fix yourself.
You have no idea how much time, energy, and money I wasted only to have finally seen this video. THANK YOU MATE!
LOL. Glad it helped 😁 👍

Thank you so much for the video, didn't have contact cleaner so I used brake cleaner, but now it works perfectly
Worked like a charm!
Can joystick drift on the ps5 controller be fixed in the same way?
To some extent yes. Just make sure your device is out of warranty before doing it, otherwise get a replacement under warranty.
Thanks, I did the steps of the video and it worked.
Glad it helped

Haha indeed, I think they over engineered the screw design LOL.

When I plug my g923 into g hub it shows that all pedals are being pressed and I’m not pressing them, u know how to fix?
thank you so much for this just fixed mine ! 💚👽

It could be a sticky potentiometer on the accelerator pedal, so this method might help too.
@@HamVR it did...I pressed the shit out of wd40 cleaner 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That’s a dirty potentiometer, I fixed mine with the all time fix for potentiometers, a bit of Kontakt spray
my issue is the gas pedal sometimes doesn't go all the way sometimes it wiggles from 90% to 100%, will this video also fix this?
ye
What is that app you used to see the pressure on the pedal and test it works ok?
The standard Logitech G Hub Software

@@HamVR thanks a lot 👍
You are the dude!
Thanks a lot sir. Problem solved and i am faster at least 0.5 sec per lap :).
Good stuff

THANK YOU
it works with compressed air spray?
It's contact cleaner which will clean the potentiometer contacts better than just air blowing allowing.
Thx@@HamVR
what screwdriver did u use for the silver screws? those are a nightmare
Is it work with normal WD-40?
Possibly but not as well. This stuff cleans and regular WD40 is a lubricant.
mine doesnt stick it just keeps going.
"HEADSHOT!"
i sitll have the sticking problem after doing this
Might be time to strip or replace the potentiometer completely.
@@HamVR nut it worked yesterday perfectly isdk how ity broke in 1 dayy
but
@@banan33033 what did you do ?
How is this quick
It's quicker than stripping down and/or replacing the potentiometer but slower adding newer pedals to cart. Quickish.
