I just need to look at this wheel and it beeps...it probably can handle drops well. The build quality is awesome. When it comes to speed, not so sure, but again is that the use case for this wheel, not really. Can lighter riders do more things with it? Sure. Can't wait for your videos guys.

Roger’s back was hurting on Marty’s demo ride so they had me jump on it and do all sorts of off road shenanigans with it and the wheel took everything we threw at it as you will see when Marty releases his video. You are a hundred percent correct this is a chill riding wheel, not a speed wheel, but you can have a lot of fun messing around at parks hoping up and down curbs or stairs, doing 180’s and other fun stuff. Got to try one with a knobby and I love it. So much power for how small it is. Wouldn't be my choice if I was trying to ride across town but for something to have fun jumping around on or a neighborhood store ripper it would be the weapon of choice. So so much fun. I really hope some other companies make wheels this size. I think it could open up the market for alot of new riders that want to start with a wheel under $2k that still is worth keeping after they want something faster with more range.
Just got mine with the off-road tire and I am truly impressed. I just took it out and stomped through some rocky bumpy and soft dirt section trails and it performs beyond my expectations for a $1500 wheel. This suspension obviously is not as supple as my Lynx, but it is totally adequate.
It looks really good. As you say..many of us aren’t interested in riding at full send, break neck speeds, and the shear weight of many wheels puts me right off them. I like just to do a bit of chill riding..just for me, by myself, I don’t do group rides ever..not interested..neither do I have an urge to ride 100 miles at a time. . I hope other manufacturers build for this sector of the market. Currently I ride a V12HT, which I like a lot, I’ve thought about a suspension wheel, but not at the weight most of them have.. So, yes..more sub 30kg suspension wheels please.
I wish they had kept the trolly handle from the prototype. I just unboxed mine hours ago, SUPER FUN! I have the knobby tire, would recommend. Hello Marty. I did know the advertised speed was 30mph , however as explained in my video, I had a pwm advertised of 82% at 30mph. To me that was a signal I could go slightly higher in speed. I intended to not hit more than 85-86% pwm. However that number was wrong, due to a power reporting bug from the wheel. A fw update is supposed to be released by begode to fix this, even though pwm monitoring is more of a high speed wheel test thing. Thanks for watching.
The Sherman was advertised as a 45 mph wheel and it cuts out at 55. When eWheels advertises it as 31 mph max cruising speed it is implied there is some headroom at that speed.
I don't understand, it's weight is the same as kingsong s18 , yes it's light, but it's smaller has weaker motor and weaker battery, ok price is lower, but what is wrong with weight? If it would be less 20kg would be amazing

It seems like a great wheel for short errands on a bike lane. Begode is pretty solid now, their factory is clean and the designer is really passionate and knowledgable about eucs. Basically every person working at begode rides an euc everyday
@Ronin_Ryder the fact that it didn't stop you from taking it to a speed that it can fail at IS a defect. Its safety 101
@@stevemiller123 Totally agree with you. Manufacturers of potentially dangerous devices should always protect you from doing the wrong thing.
@@stevemiller123 you mean the fact is he didn't set the software up correctly? 😂😂😂😂
Begode such quality such cutout such wow
HQ2 detected👀
There is no cutoff if you drive around 40Km/h, everyone knows that it is normal to cut close to the speed limit of 50Km/h. Smart people are never afraid of cut off and dont need a "smart" BMS but simply a BMS. It's just a question of logic and interest.
You didn’t address the elephant in the room. It’s a good bike lane wheel. Is this worth $1700? Absolutely NOT! Especially with Begode depreciation rates.
🙄 OK dad.
This wheel is slower and heavier than my old Begode tesla T3. The range is not even close. I am not impresed by this wheel at all...
great new direction would be if begode didn't allow testers to crash hope ur ok
Excellent suggestion :)
Electric Unicycle cost way too much notthing that sell under 400 i dont think not many people going buy and ride this in city also some of them dont have a seat lol pointless to buy or used it
