If you look at your LazyRolling jacket carefully, you will see that inside at the centre of the hem at the bottom of the jacket..there is a loop that you can attach to the belt of your trousers to stop the jacket riding up your back in the event of a fall. 👍
I'm a daily commuter. I just bought the Garmin Varia rearview radar to pair it with EUC world, and that revolutionized my riding. I feel so much safer instead of having to look at my wrist mirror all the time. It tells me exactly when to turn and gives me around 10 seconds of warning when a car is approaching. However, it isn't very useful in heavy urban traffic but super helpful when traffic conditions are light (which is much more dangerous because cars are travelling at higher speeds). This is a must have for commuters!
Those are some great picks, being a city rider I have to do a lot more just to remain visible. My recommendations : Wide angle hand mirror - I velcro'd one to my left glove super useful! A GuardianAngel LED safety light (orange white) - basically necessary for night riding in the streets, makes you really visible Any smartwatch that has a EUC companion app - I find it way safer and accessible than whipping out the phone on a ride A direct drive 3D printer (Sovol SV06 or Elegeoo Neptune 4) - if it can print TPU, you can print your own EUC mods and accessories!
I attached a bicycle seat to my V12 for seated riding. It takes a ton of pressure off my feet and knees in long rides. I also play music on the V12 while riding. It is an safety feature. People hear me coming a mile away and move out the way and/or stop and stare when they see it is a EUC and my riding gear (look like Darth Vader when padded up)
Ok guys thanks for another awesome video- I'm actually dealing with a flat right now. Iv ordered a new tube and tire but I'm going to also try this 'Dillo to patch the tube. Appreciate you guys!!!! Tym. S22
You overlooked to mention the fact that you can convert the RUROC helmet with their Shockwave audio system. Aside from being able to plug into music, and take calls. It can connect to you Mr EUC and transmit the speed alarms into your ear without compromising the aerodynamics of the helmet. Anyway, I have 3 RUROC helmets but honestly if I had come across the “Scorpion EXO-R1 Evo Carbon Air Corpus II 2 Integral Sport” helmet first I wouldn’t own a Ruroc. They’re not only cheaper, they’re much lighter and smaller in diameter therefore not giving you the bobble head look. Both the Scorpion and Ruroc helmet line are DOT / ECE approved.
I recently just purchased a running lightweight running vest /chest pouch. My riding pants don’t have any back pockets and I have a few things I carry in my pockets.. so having the essentials on my chest will be very accessible instead of having to stop the ride and dig in my bag ..I also ride with a hydration bag/backpack so water access is very easy .. I keep a digital tire pressure gauge in my bag and a portable rechargeable portable air pump.
Just get a Dynamic from Bonehead Composites and they'll even plumb it for comms; love mine and zero wind noise (wind tunnel tested) as well as feather light and, well, invisible when you're wearing it. Yep, can't see the helmet while wearing, that was actually a design requirement - it's easy to drink from a cup or water fountain without taking it off. When I realized that I was going to be catching *all* the wind shear while floating a couple feet above the ground I started looking over in luge, skeleton, skydiving, flight, etc type helmets...found Bonehead and haven't looked back. The Dynamic is about as close to a skullcap made of carbon fiber as you can get - I love mine so so much. *(not an affiliate, just a very happy user)*
I love the e-works clark pedals. They feel so nice with the concave on my Master. The Begode spiked pedals are great but these e-works pedals make me feel even more confident on the street. My other favorite accessory is PinLock for my helmet, no fogging up is so nice in these cold months
Very informative. It's interesting that your Armadillo success rate is 100% while your Slime success rate is 50%. I'll take that into consideration next time I buy tire repair goop.
I ride an ebike as my primary transportation and a left side handle bar mirror is a great, small investment. Lots out there but the Hafny mirror is great.
The great thing about that summer jacket is that if you are getting too cold, you can throw on a wind breaker over it and still have all the protection underneath.
Just on helmets, I have a downhill mtb helmet for slow rides and a shoei for faster stuff. Look at the weight of the motorbike helmet - it can be from 1.2kg up to 2.5kg. I had a motorbike so already had a shoei. It was expensive, but vents and amazing and its one of the lighter helmets. I bought a TSG Pass because I got an offer and it looked cool. It steams up easy, and I have doubts about its protection - its a snowboarding helmet I think so isn't subject to testing standards like motorcycle helmets. I don't know what other markets are like but the UK is full of 2nd hand performance wheels with about 50 miles on the clock and 1/2-3/4 of the new price. Something like a sherman would be good as new with the spares market. My next wheel will be a 2nd hand one (with suspension). I bought an Abrams, but e-rides had done a lot of work on it and it was cheap for the performance you get. Its also a great workout hefting it around tight corners etc.
@@freshlycharged I’ve had a couple of tumbles in them and they’ve held up amazingly. Mids are great ‘cause they’re not too high which impedes ankle mobility but high enough to protect your ankles and Achilles. Really comfortable, minimal toe-heel rise which means better wheel feel. Been wearing them since 2020 and they haven’t skipped a beat!
I just started riding about 6 months ago. Came from many years of snowboarding and wearing ZERO gear. Hopped on the EUC and my first crashed whipped the ish outta the inside of my legs. Suffered a blot clot and nasty hematomas. I never ride without my Fuse Echo 125 Knee/Shin/Ankle Pads. They are hard to come by and one of very few that offer inside leg whip protection.
Pass on the Ruroc. Coming from the motorcycle community, Ruroc makes one of the cheapest quality helmets. Look at Shoei or Arai for well made helmets at speeds above 20mph
I actually put in an order and they accepted it for $15 off and then canceled the order. Then I put it in again, the code only allowed $10 off and then when I chose a payment method it said this has already been used and rejected it
Hey guys so I’ve done got all the e-scooters I could possibly want and now I’m wanting to try this EUC thing now.. not trying to spend a lot of money but I’ve been looking at the Begode mten4 and the begode A2. Which one would you guys prefer?
I've been looking for a pair of gloves that have wrist protection on both sides. The f(x)unction's have it only in the bottom and this 1Protect ones seem to only have it at the top? Dang. Any recommendations?
I try to watch all the crashes, 99% left hip. I saw it with down hill long boarders. Josh Neuman forever. And euc riders. Just saying opinion, gear up.
If the light is bright enough people will see it. I have a Magic Shine light on my helmet and it has 2 lights (one point back and one down) and it's are super bright. The Bottom light make a 360 around me while riding. The back light is brake
Most of these protective pads/armors and helmets are way over priced. I literally found the exact same type of armor and helmets for a faction of the price on Amazon and/or Temu. Quality is the exact same, but a lot cheaper. Nobody trying to spend $400+ on a Helmet, $200-300 each pants and a protective jacket/vest and around a $100 for some cheap gloves and wrist guards...Can buy another PEV for those prices
the predator helmets are junk for euc and scooter riding. If you want to protect your head get a motorcycle helmet snell or at least DOT certified. Not only are they junk they are totally over priced. You can get most really good motorcycle helmets for less.
I believe the whole fairing business is the worst thing to happen to the EUC market The only reason it exists is due to poor wheel design, a trend that has to go.. I ride an "old" Begode RS with bumpers right, so it might be a bit hypocritical for me to say this, but considering the performance of new wheels, and the price you pay, nobody should buy a wheel that is not fully protected from factory.. There are some great people out there making seats and other accessories that are amazing, but it is completely absurd to have to pay 20% of the price of a wheel just to give it a chance of survival in the first crash..
I am curious to hear what you think is wrong with TSG. Especially compared to the Predator helmet, which has fewer safety certifications. You think TSG is overkill?

One of my favorite gadgets for when I'm riding is the Garmin Varia radar that alerts you when a vehicle approaches you from behind.

Use the Varia with an Apple Watch and you don’t need to bother with your iPhone.
@@chestercopperpot9294 I can only afford a new radar, or a new smart watch, but not both though. Lol.

Yep, I agree Vans are the best. Something about the texture of the soles that makes them extra grippy on spiked foot pedal.
We love our Vans, they are definitely our favorite shoes to wear while riding PEVs.

To connect the Lazryrollings jacket to your pants: thread the belt on your jeans, through the loop at the back of the Lazyrollings jacket.
There is the one loop but we would prefer that it was zipped together. The little loop only holds it in the center of the back.
