@@timmorin69 maybe in other performances, but not here. None of the starlets give a good performance in this clip, whether its lack of rehearsal or the song not being in the right key for them - they all sound horrible and have pretty poor pitch control.

Not only in tune but also the only one who is capable of singing the higher notes of the melody in the chorus......
And for me as a singer and a long time Vocal Coach I must say......singing the verse needs only a really small range......I dont know the english word but in Germany we would say:

These "singers" will fade away fast. In fact, most of them are probably obscure at this very moment. The guitar player at 2:40 is very talented and did not get her chance to shine, since she had no opportunity to showcase her voice. Look up "Rollin' On" and you'll understand.

Alanis is STILL absolutely amazing!!!! These young "chicks" are reminding me of my 15 year old self in front of the mirror, rocking out thinking I sounded just like Alanis😂😂😂. Did anyone watch her sing "Rest" at Lisa Marie Presleys funeral 😢 I was LITERALLY SOBBING. One of THE MOST haunting, beautiful and heart breaking live songs she's ever done. And how appropriate for the occasion 🙏🏼. Alanis is SOOO underrated as an artist and songwriter!

Alanis is the goat. Also got to interact with her in a work setting before her daughter was born, for a solid hour or so. Her energy and reality is another level. 🔥

I was convinced after watching this video. She's actually not that good at singing. I think she got around the problem by adjusting the way her sing. And with the help of autotune. She probably knew that, which is why she drank, and she probably knew that she could use it as an excuse.

It's obvious that she can't really sing and you can't blame being drunk.... Even drunk you would sound more decent than how she sounded with the anthem it just goes to show that they manipulate the microphones they use . auto tone the truth is anyone can be a singer now because of what they're able to do. And if she has concerts you're pretty much paying alot for something you could hear on a radio.,...
Auto Tune wouldn't fix that bad of singing. She was definitely hammered. Doesn't mean she's a good singer tho...
