How is the V10 in your car compared to, lets say the 7.3? What is the upsides of the v10 compared to the diesel? Im looking for a excursion as my first car, but I need some feedback on the matter. My dad used to have a 7.3 with a tuner and intake, and that thing was fast.
The v10 is a very strong engine in my opinion. Now of course the 7.3 would be better but if you had to go with a gasoline engine the v10 is a good choice pulls like a SOB and very reliable as along as you keep up on oil changes, common mantenence, you should have no problems. The mpg isn't so great I get 11 mpg city which isn't that good but i don't have a truck for fuel Econ haha Hope this helps, any questions just ask!
