Years back, I knew a work crew that had a Ford 4WD F-550 V10 Crew Cab with a utility body. Loaded with tools and men, the truck probably had a loaded gross weight of about 11-12K lbs. all the time. The crew told that, when driving 75 mph on the Interstate, the truck got about 4-6 mpg max. One day they were out on a job on the Great Plains that was blistering hot--106° F. They were working out in the open on equipment that, itself, was producing even more heat. So, they left the F-550 idling with the A/C on all day just to have a cool place to get out of the heat from time to time. They sad that, in their 12 hr. shift, the truck used nearly a quarter tank of fuel just idling. As you said, though, the V10 was a tough engine--that one went over 350K miles without even being opened up for any serious repairs, despite a lot of hard duty, with a lot of extended idling, winter and summer.
Love hearing stuff like this. My uncle ran some construction crews and had a early 2000’s 250 With the v-10. After running some errands and mashing the gas the whole way I was shocked to realize how much the fuel level fell. I actually put gas in it because I was scared my uncle was going to know I was beating it.
My dad owned a f-250 fx4 w the V10 10 mpg towing or unloaded four inch rear six inch front lifted with BFGs black body colored bumpers black wheels crew cab beautiful built ford tough truck
I used an 01 F350 based dump truck with the V10 in my first job. I agree with your assessment of that mill. The sound of one firing up still makes me smile as it takes me back to those older, simpler days. Thanks for the video. I'm excited to see this in the future challenge series!
To me this truck is still an all around road king even with modern standards so much room inside high towing capacity the only vehicle that makes a man say I don't mind if it doesn't have a bed its still a truck lol
The mileage is actually better than I expected, relatively speaking. It's not bad. You see guys with built up 4Runners and Tacoma's that barely get better than that, and his Ex has way more power and way more room. I think one of these would make an amazing overland rig. You could probably get 35 or even 37s on it without too much trouble, and with that massive fuel tank you'll have a great range, even with the poor mileage.
My Mom had a 2000 Limited Excursion with the 6.8 V10 growing up and she drove it without issue to almost 200k miles when she sold it. It got 10 or 11 mpg no matter how you drove it and it was a beast in the snow even with the factory pizza cutter sized tires. Great video as usual, Tommy did a great job describing this truck and engine.
I have a 1999 F350 superduty dually with the 4.30 rear end, averaging 11 1/2 miles per gallon, but the road manners are top tier with really low noise and smooth driving.
I have a F250 extended cab full size bed manual V10 and if is quite. A pleasure of a work truck. Can’t find a 2005 F350 v10 crew cab full size bed non dually that isn’t modified.
@@tengu190 A lot of people in today's society do tend to do stupid modifications to their trucks. If I'm being completely honest, I hate the things people do to their trucks to lift them, etc. Keep in mind this is coming from a 14 year old!! 😂
@@nicksevers8045 I don’t mind a slight lift like 1” and maybe uprated tires and wheel that don’t require recalibration. Cold air intake is a waste of money. Cat back exhaust is alright as long as not too noisy and done right.
@@tengu190 True true, an exhaust is nice depending on the vehicle; though if I was getting a truck for work, I'd keep it entirely stock, unless if it was a Dodge, then I'd rebuild the transmission because the 1st gen and 2nd gen Dodge RAMs have transmission problems, Manual and Auto.
@@tengu190 Mine's a crew cab, long bed dually with the "Lariat" trim level. I affectionately call it a "luxury farm truck" since the previous owner only used it to haul horse trailers back and fourth between Southeastern AZ and San Diego and it only had about 116K miles on it so for a (at the time) 22 year old pickup, it is in really good shape for it's age.
Surprised I’m not seeing a lot of comparisons to the 8.1 vortec… on the class a forums it’s always a hot topic for the used units. Our class a has the 8.1 and our Excursion had the V10. Love both but I do think the 8.1 makes better torque with the extra displacement. It is remarkable how smooth the V10 is and it was nicely paired in the Excursion.
It's kind of hard comparing the feeling of torque between two vehicles like that since most excursions have 3.73 gears and A class have 4.88 or higher from my experience.
There's going to be several Excursions, Suburbans (especially the 3/4 ton models), V10 Dodge Rams, and HD GM and Ford pickups for sale. Ford had the Triton V10 and Dodge had the Magnum V10 while GM had the 8.1 8100 Vortec V8. During the Young Bush administration, there was tax write-offs on heavy duty trucks and SUVs for businesses.
@@hahaadventures4838 Not true. My gramps work at a huge construction site. The V 10'S ARE SUPER OVERLOADED. TO GET MAX. AND CARRY PLUS HAUL WAY BIGGER HEAVIER LOADS.CONCRETE, IRON, SOIL LOADED! AND TAKES IT ALL! EASY
My previous employer was a SoCal municipality which had a original 37,000 mile 1995 Chevy 3500HD dually dump truck with a big block 454. This truck hauled everything from concrete to wet sand/seaweed to dead seals and took it all in stride. It would sit dormant for weeks but it always started on the first try. Running a GM 8.1 is next on my bucket list.
We had an ‘05 Ex V10 4x4 limited. It routinely got about 11mpg, 13 Highway. Max ever was 15 in NM. We had the higher geared one and it was actually more “sporty” than a 5.4 Expedition my parents owned (talk about a dog)! We used to have to use two swipes too back in ‘14. Roomy truck, no skid plates though, so I never off roaded it much. Was good for pulling people out of snow and ice though.
As a fellow V10 excursion owner with almost the exact same miles, I feel your pain😂 That being said, there is no vehicle that can compare to it. My dad taught me how to drive on his Excursion and I have loved them ever since, so naturally I got one for myself😂
I looooooooove mine I have an 04 6.8l v10 4x4 and it is friggin awesome before I got my trailer I could fit my queen size air bed in the back with room to spare
@@travislupum YES! Absolutely. I love truck camping in it. So spacious, yet can haul quite a bit, then take all of your friends out to dinner comfortably😂👏 Truly a unique vehicle that I cant see myself ever wanting to get rid of, even with the fuel prices being high and fuel economy of them being low(er)
Avg price here in Australia is about $2.21 (we have a min of 91 here)/ Litre. Which works out to $6.10/gal USD. Cost is insane everywhere at the moment.
My local still less than $2/l but with wfh and a pair of Diesels we’re still ok. Still not so bad that I’d change behaviour too much but I’m glad I no longer have a ski boat!
i could be wrong, but the US & Canada uses a different grading scale when it comes to octane, so a 91 octane in Germany for example would be equivalent to an 87 in the US.
My Olds 442 gets about the same mileage but even when the gauge reads about 1/4, it only takes about 10 gallons. So my effective range is around 100 miles.
Just took my 2000 7.3L 262,000 mile Excursion from Texas to North Carolina. 19.7 mpg the whole trip filled up once on the way out, once during the 5 days there and once on the way back. 968 miles one way. Still not chipped or deleted. You can't give me a gas Excursion or anything else for that matter.
I daily my Excursion v10 limited. I only live 1.5 miles from my job. But I offroad etc. 430s and all my gear inside. I love it. It's my dream truck and I will always build it
I always thought Ford engineered the Excursion all wrong, instead of being F250SD-based it should've been two Focus wagons linked in tandem. 8 cylinders, 4WD (and four axles), 10 seats, 140 cubic feet of cargo space, and ulitmate towing capacity (already towing its' own weight). Three transmission options (manual, automatic, one of each), built in displacement-on-demand and if you need to be in two places at once you can decouple them and drive them separately.
Love this video. My parents had a 2004 Ford Excursion equipped with the V10 and with the same two tone paint scheme. You’re totally right on the mileage. Even on longer trips you never saw above 13-14 on the highway. Wonderful road trip car. Great cruiser. Any plans to add airbags to the rear? Excursion squat is a common issue.
@@harleyrobertson6746 It's funny that you think we HAVE a "shop round the corner". The rural population of America is bigger than the entire population of the UK and we often have to drive more than 30 minutes just to reach the nearest gas station or shop. It's like you Euros don't realize the US has different settlement patterns than you do and we're much more spread out with little to no effective public transportation outside major metropolitan areas that cover only a few percent of our nation's land area.
Hey, Tommy! Try to stay optimistic and instead of thinking that spending 2% of the car's value on fill-up is painful, think that you got a very great deal on purchasing the car 😊
I drove a U-Haul truck from Ohio to Missouri fully loaded and towing a small sedan and the truck had the v-10. I gave it a torture test and it never missed a lick lol. I remember when I wound it up to high rpm it sounded like it was screaming lol, but I don't think it had a tach so I didn't know how many RPM it was hitting. Thanks for the awesome video as always TFL!!!!
I remember when the Hummer H2 was the "It" Car for a couple years one of the biggest complaints from owners was gas mileage. They weren't expecting *good* MPG of course, but they weren't expecting it to be *AS* bad as it was, and this was in 2004-5 before Katrina started the late '00s price spikes.
Colorado people and their compulsive need to remind us that they live at high altitude. Yeah, we get it. I live at 6,100 feet in a suburb of Nairobi, Kenya, and drive my vehicles across a range from 9,000 feet down to sea level at Mombasa within a single day and notice no difference in performance. We don't obsess about altitude here, we just get on with life. And we don't have a need to constantly remind everyone that we live at more than a mile above sea level.
I own a 2001 Excursion with the V 10 and love it. The fuel cost does suck but it's our puller, so not a daily driver and paid for. FYI I've replaced 3 spark plugs. Love your videos
11.9 mpg. That is better than I expected for this beast. If only used occasionally, this is a tolerable fuel consumption number for a big vehicle with its capacity and performance.
I get about 12mpg with my '99 F-250 5.4L with 3.73's. I've gotten as high as 14 empty on the highway and also as low as 7 while towing a 5th wheel camper. FYI, Ford's (and all manufacturer's) octane rating suggestion is at sea level. When you gain altitude, you can run lower octane because the air is a bit thinner. 85 is perfectly acceptable at altitude.
My '03 Excursion 4x4 with the V10 gets roughly 10-12 mpg. Always have to run the card twice! Most places shut off between $75-90 locally in South West Michigan
Haha, had to do the same thing with my 00 V10 Ex. So i just started stopping and filling up at half tank because it made me feel better not having to swipe twice. But I've kept it sitting since January and don't plan on doing much with it at current prices.
My Daily driver is an 04 4x4 5.4l Excursion. I love it! I also have a 7.3l 2wd Excursion Limited, that tows my Toy hauler. Best vehicles ever made if you ask me! 5.4 gets 8mpg and 7.3 will average 16 but down to 12 towing my toy hauler. I am in SoCal, costs me about $200 for the gas. Diesel fluctuates and I do not drive it often, I only have a 2 miles daily commute. But going places, or when the kids were in sports.....ouch! But hey, no payments and I have adequate safety for the things I like to do.....Oh, I forgot to say, those mileages are when I drive it. Somehow my wife will get 15mpg's out of the 5.4l....and it's lifted on 315's stock 4:10 gears....go figure...LOL!
@@angelgjr1999 odd timing bc the used car market is high right now so you almost feel like there's something wrong when these trucks are priced below 10 grand.

My dad special order a 2000 Excursion with the 7.3L diesel and got the upgraded 1 ton chassis, I drove it for a year and spent around 400 a month as I was 18 and had a lead foot. One day I will have it again, but in the mean time I have a 96 f250 with the old 460 and I am averaging 8 to 10 miles a gallon.
I have a 2004 Ford E-350 van with the V-10. I also tow a 32 foot travel trailer and it does an amazing job. Nothing better for hauling the camper, 3 kids and the dog in comfort.
I used to drive a 97 k2500 burb with the 45 gallon tank, vortec 7400 with supercharger. You don't know pain until you have to put 45 gallons of premium fuel in.
I have a 2000 Excursion as well, but I only visit the gas station once the low-fuel light comes on (unless I have a long distance to go, or am pulling my 34 foot travel trailer, of course 😉) and proceed to fill it to the level you went to the gas station at! LoL 😂. I'm considering placing a sticker on the Excursion that reads, "vehicle carries less than $40 of gas" in case we start seeing a spike in a-holes siphoning gas. 🤣
@@aussie2uGA, in Idaho (where I live) that would be like writing a suicide note! Not that I have a problem with this, in fact it is one of the reasons I moved here. I saw a couple that had a "F*ck Joe Biden" sticker on their Jeep when I was eating at a local cafe and I went and paid for their meal. Over a year ago, I used to put $25 to $30 in the Grand Cherokee I had prior to moving (pictured in my avatar), and that would last quite a bit longer than the $40-ish does in the Excursion. The Jeep really didn't get much better fuel milage than the Excursion, so yeah, LET'S GO BRANDON!!!
@@4WDriver over a year ago Covid happened and prices were lower so unless you’re saying T created covid so we could have lower gas prices, I don’t see your point. Also, if Brandon has control over prices, does that mean he has connections in Australia or Europe and raising the price there as well?
@@djncrti2860 , way to get all butt-hurt, fanboy style and miss all the points of reality. Covid didn't really lower gas prices much, they were already low before covid. Yes the price of oil was low, in fact negative. The price of oil is but a component of the price of gas, however. Oil may have been selling for negative dollars per barrel, but gas was still around $2.00 per gallon. Did you forget that Biden's FIRST DAY in office, he cancelled the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline??? That had an immediate impact on gas prices, because markets are speculative. Lowered ability to increase future capacity will lead to them charging more now, because they know they won't be able to ramp up supply later as demand keeps growing. Also, Biden's WEAK foreign policy led to Putin calling his bluff and starting a war with Ukraine which has again driven gas prices even higher. His administration REFUSES to ease policies currently stifling domestic production, and for what??... To appease his base full of environmental extremists who can't even see that producing it domestically will actually be far better for the environment than buying it abroad (from geopolitical enemies, mind you) and expending all the resources necessary to ship it here.
I still owned my 1990 Bronco (351W/5.8LV8 & E40D) with it’s 33gal fuel tank and 8-12MPG back when the Gas prices out here in California hit over $4 a gallon the first time and I remember paying close to $140 a tank every time and about $90 to fill my 99 Silverado Z71 extended cab (5.3V8) 15-17MPG. I always had to go inside to pay with the Bronco since it was always over $100 to fill usually pay at the pump is $75-$100 max. They are probably gonna have to up that now. I just spent almost $90 to fill the tank on my new 2021 Ranger Tremor it was $6.39gal and half the cylinders of both old trucks and a 17gal tank 🤦♂️
My first Excursion was a 05 V-10 Excursion and I absolutely loved it! Now I have an 05 diesel 6.0 and love it even more!! Definitely better mileage with the diesel! 😎
As someone who owned an excursion with same setup I miss it but traded it in on a 17 f150 with the 2.7 eco worlds difference pain at the pump 13.5 on a good day on the highway to now 21.2
I upgraded my V10 to an spd y-pipe, car delete, magnaflow muffler, and a 5 star tune. It has way more rasp and pep. I have video of it on my yt page. Highest mpg highway I have gotten was 16.4.
I had a 2002 F350 XLT Crew Cab 2WD. Towed a 26ft TT effortlessly and averaged 11mpg towing. Unloaded I got a high of 19 mpg on the interstate. Loved that truck, regret selling it back in 2016 with just 56k miles on it.
a friend bought a 2010 f350 and he had 110 gallon trasnfer tank hooked up on a aux fuel pump switch. he paid 620 for fuel or something, he hauls a car or 2 on gooseneck overnights and such. makes a LOT of money
I actually drove a 2000 excursion the other day with the 5.4L and it was slow. BUT it did have 260,000 miles and ran great. Same color as this one just 2wd and not 4x4. I drive a 1ton Chevy express passenger van at work and with the gas at $6.09 I believe, I paid just over $164 for just over 25 gallons. Insane.
If you can purchase without a loan payment, drive it when you need the space/seating capacity, then it’s worth it in my opinion. Reliable, well built and still a cool looking truck, a win all day long.
That really isn't to bad gas mileage considering the altitude & it being as big & heavy as the Titanic, I have a 2008 F150 with the 4.2 V6 that only gets around 18 mpg & that's why it stays parked in the yard. I'm driving my 2018 Ford Fusion that's getting 33 mpg. But great video, really enjoyed it. 👍🏻👍🏻
I have eight siblings, so our family car is a 2002 Ford E350 four-wheel drive 15 passenger, and that gets terrible mileage as well it gets about 10 mpg, and then our car that gets the best mileage gets 40 plus. And all of our other cars are between 20 and 39 mpg, depending on how they are driven.
I have a 2001 Ford Excursion Limited, bought in 2003, no owner previously to us except a guy drove it to and from the dealership home as it was used as a "demo" vehicle, still had all the plastic on the inside, spotless. It has the 5.4L, 6" lift and 35" tires, high flow cat with a glass pack, and It drives like a Cadillac and sounds amazing! Only thing it needs to improve it's drivability would be to re-gear the rear end, newer cold air intake, etc. It doesn't need much. I would much rather have the 5.4L over the V10 or the 6.0, the only other option I'd die to have is the 7.3L. Yes 7.3's are slow and sluggish but the torque and the reliability is the better thing. These vehicles weren't made for speed so why worry about how much HP it has? Overall untill you've had an excursion and learned every single but and bolt on the vehicle and driven it for more than 19years, you won't look at it and think it's practical. Mine was in a 45 mph head on collision and took it like a champ and was easily fixed and you couldn't look at it and tell. No matter where I am someone is looking at it and asking what it is or can they buy it off me, and I tell them I'll never sell it bc me and mine are inseparable. There's a reason Excursions are called the King of SUV'S.
Last week I replaced my 2003 Expedition with a low mile 2002 Excursion and this video is making me worried about my first big fill up. That said I think it was the high gas prices that pushed the seller to lower their price.
It is amazing how much the excursions with the 7.3 are going for I am in Oregon and there are 2 in my area. First one is selling for $28500 with 230000 Miles on it and another excursion going for $48000 with 150000 Miles on it
I've got 7.3 excursion gets about 11.5 mpg but it is lifted on 33x12.50r22 with diesel at 5 usd you better not think of putting anything less than 100 in it or your going no where
I have a 2020 F350 King Ranch with an auxiliary fuel tank and a total fuel capacity of 98 gal. I have pulled into stations that limit your purchase to $75.00 which just amazes me. My credit card cuts off if you make 3 transactions in the same place at the same time. So I can't fill it up in one stop unless I use multiple cards. If I notice the station has a $75.00 cut off I usually just leave. Enjoy you channel by the way.
Yup I also have one, that 44 gallon tank sucks, I also had one back I 2000 a diesel but at least fuel was cheap than and it got better mileage than my current V10
$80 to fill up my Camry & also people get it through your heads that the person in the white building does not control gas prices… America is not the only country with increased prices. Americans love to play the blame game.
@@wildbill23c exactly so. They say prices were lowest with T but forgot that the virus had an impact on prices everywhere as well. People are so divided between red and blue they forget how to think with their heads.
Privately owned gas station near my house...has the pumps cut off at $80. If you need more, you have to see the cashier to allow more fill up. The owner says he does it to prevent theft or run offs.
You all should do a college vehicle series. Best car for let's say 3500 (though let's be real, that's outta budget for most of those in college, my car was 350$ zx3 focus 5 speed) that can do college based duties. Long travel, cheap gas, cheap to insure, haul a crap ton of things and cheap to keep

Yep, average I’ve seen except for Costco is about $6.00 per gallon right now. My ‘07 Frontier Nismo 4x4 cost me $83 bucks to fill up all the way. It was over $20 bucks more to fill up at around 5.69 a gallon last week. It’s gone up about 50 cents so far at that same station it’s pretty insane.
Owning an Excursion with the 7.3L diesel gives me some relief, but I put 36 gallons in yesterday for a hefty $180. Keeping it at 65 mph and cruising on the interstate gets her up to 20 mpg. Just don't ask her to do stop and go city driving. Ford named it Excursion for a reason, it's for excursions not daily driving.
While driving my 00 Ex Limited 4wd 55mph on a decline, I reset the mpg so it reads 99.9 then goes down from there. It will usually read at least 15mpg at the end of the trip. Makes me feel better.😎👍
I have an 06 motor home with the 3v v10 and full banks kit. It sounds awesome and gets around 7.5mpg. Not to shabby for a 38’ rv with three slides and small flat tow vehicle.
For over a decade, I had this 6.8 10 Triton powertrain- it was on three of our shuttle buses on 5T frames. Common on RVs also. These ran even quieter than a v8.. funny to say but true. Honestly a super smooth motor for the daily grind but they did drink motor oil and fuel like mad haha though we were custom fitted with longrange 55Gal tanks. Punched through 180,000 hard miles before first rebuild- but after, they run like a top again. It's generally decent for brief lowend power, as Tommy showed. I would commend it for the quick reaction feel at acceleration for manuevers in traffic since it was a gasser. We'd get 9 mpg all day considering we often transport at max. cap. Compared to our duramax unit, we always needed to revv these Triton v10s a grand higher to achieve the similar torque by comparison. Would say these Tritons were smooth and gentle running that's the main takeaway- of how something so industrious could offer a somewhat refined feel. They're usually light on trouble as long as you keep good eye on the dipstick. We were still in a semi urban setting with outlying residential, and diesel pumps were still a bit further away for refuel, hence why we stuck with gas application. Then again it was a time before excessive international gas supply conflicts.
You can get 47.3 gallons in that tank. I had the 6.0 limited I bought new in 05’. Slowest setting on the pump gets that number. The slower the pump the less aeration in the fuel. Gas or diesel.
The diesel version of this SUV is more popular here in Norway, as both diesel engine vehicles and fuel is cheaper. But with diesel prices at $11 a gal. now, I think these behemoths are mostly stationary these days 😀
Are you at 25~30NOK per litre right now? Thats even worse than 2,20€ in Germany right now :o I remember paying around 17 NOK for Gasoline last autumn during a road trip. - And it was worth every penny, a beautiful country you got there ;)

The other day here in California, I paid $6.16/gallon for mid-grade.... I would be around $270 to fill 44 gallons. Even my Golf GTI cost $72 to fill up last weekend. I bought an EV last Monday, costs ~$4 to charge overnight.

This is the one SUV I don’t have problems with people calling a truck.😂
I have one of those and its a pump magnet. It starts a conversation everytime I go to the pump. She's a beast with 500k on the body.
I bought my 2001 Ford Excursion 6.8 last year with 120,000 here in Colorado for 2000.00 from a military family who moved away. I love it
Surprised I’m not seeing a lot of comparisons to the 8.1 vortec… on the class a forums it’s always a hot topic for the used units.

Couple years ago, we went about 2k miles in an Excursion V10. Most comfortable ride with loads and loads of space for your stuff

My Olds 442 gets about the same mileage but even when the gauge reads about 1/4, it only takes about 10 gallons. So my effective range is around 100 miles.
I have the 2001 f350 v10 with the short need and it only holds 29 gallons… when towing I barely get anywhere on a tank lol
And that's probably alright because you wouldn't want to drive that car too far anyway. For a short weekend drive that should do :)
Years ago I had an Olds 88, big old 4 door and I think the engine was a 425. It used premium gas and got worse gas mileage than the Excursion!
Yeah, we have a Ford Excursion and we have been waiting to take it on it's next excursion until gas costs less
So sometime in 2040 then?
@@ThePolaroid669 you mean around 2070

Hahah, in Germany today you pay 9,37 $/Gallon because of all the taxes they put on. 44 gallons makes a wopping 412 US$. 166 Liters or 9,37 US$/Liter

I was hoping you guys would daily the TRX for a week or two and see how much it cost you guys to drive it to and from work.
11mpg gonna add up quick lol

Haven’t heard of them burning too much oil before, but I’m not sure what your service interval was or oil type / quality.
Great video. Love it
I remember seeing one in person not too long ago. It looked like a tank next to subcompact hatchbacks.
Thank you tommy I love this content on this big Burley piece of forgotten ford history
Thats even worse than 2,20€ in Germany right now :o
I remember paying around 17 NOK for Gasoline last autumn during a road trip. - And it was worth every penny, a beautiful country you got there ;)
@@tsd560ti6 yup, 27 NOK for diesel now. Might go to 50 NOK by summer.
Pretty cool.
I had an 03 v10 f250 ext cab short bed 4x4. Believe it or not that truck got 15 mpg no matter what, always set cruise at 68.
I miss that truck, been looking for a 08-10 king ranch v10.
You know you have an Excursion when your pump shuts off before youre done fueling. Welcome to the club!
My 2003 GMC Envoy with the 4.2 gets the same mpg as that huge Excursion 😭
Something is wrong.. I used to have an '02 Trailblazer with the 4.2 and it averaged about 15-16 MPG.
Awd
Well as someone who rocked a 460 F250 in England as a daily driver for a couple of years that doesn't seem that painful. lol
Ditto on the GM 8.1. You all should find a 2500 Suburban with the 8.1 for a comparison. I had one in a 2500HD and loved it.
I have the 8.1 with the Alison trans in our ‘03 GMC 3500. I wouldn’t trade it or sell it for anything in the world.
8100 Vortec is the best ever! I own a few and will never get rid of them. Most reliable engines ever!👍
They did go to the twin valve in 2005, except in the Excursion. Other than the production year, it is the same as an 04
Brilliant video
The other day here in California, I paid $6.16/gallon for mid-grade.... I would be around $270 to fill 44 gallons. Even my Golf GTI cost $72 to fill up last weekend. I bought an EV last Monday, costs ~$4 to charge overnight.
