Thanks Lisa, for taking us along to watch all the boats at Ludham Bridge at high tide, always interesting. Thanks also for more interesting news from the Broads, have a lovely week. Take care and all the best. Stevie
I still find it ridiculous that a hirer in a boat that has a board on the helm stating an air draught of 8ft6” attempts to pass under a bridge where the bridge marker clearly states there is insufficient clearance , it is irresponsible and shows lack of respect for the hire company .
There’s always something Hev. I only caught the sound as it was exiting the bridge but it was like that all the way along the bridge. That poor bridge.
I’m at my place in 10 weeks , you’ll have to both visit me aswell. I’m Mon-Fri ….. I think you arrive possibly the Friday I leave. I’ll still visit you though. Let’s hope it falls that you can visit me though. I’ll text you …
Do they dredge under the bridge(s)? A lot of new hirers do not anticipate beautiful but rather small for modern purposes upto 1000 year old bridges. They are a challenge for many people but worth it!
What relevance would dredging have here? Do you seriously think that dredging the bottom would create more headroom under the bridge? Like, the water surface would dip down to follow the shape of the river bed?😂😂
Interesting consultation regarding body worn cameras - I wonder if those staff will inform members of the public that they are activating the cameras and the reason why! Or just passively record and not tell them, in which case they will not be able to use the recording as evidence for anything other than an offence against the person? Yes that was a crunch and a half,
Another great video yet again,I hope the boat at the start of the video didn't get to much damage,,,, good video of the thunder storm, look forward to seeing you next video,,not long now till my boat trip 😅,
Thank you Stephen. I’m not sure about the damage but it sounded horrendous. I do love a storm. ⛈️ 😂 such a child 😂 I hope you have a fabulous sunny day ⛵️ If you’d like me to film it going past…. Text me your route and I’ll see what I can do.
It definitely did sound bad,I would have gone backwards instead of going on,,,I love a good storm as well you get some fantastic colours in the sky,,,,yes definitely if you get time it might make a bit of content for you,,,I think we leave how hill between 9/9:30 and then sale to ranworth
It seems to me that the boat makers are making larger and larger ie taller boats these day, unlike the nice lower boat that I encountered in the yearly holidays in the early 1970s
Probably 50 years from now , the boats will be totally different and we will be saying, they were much nicer in the 2020’s…… mind you , 50 Year’s time I doubt I’ll still be here :(
@@NewnameSameme I doubt I will be herein 25 years time, but I may last a bit longer and get the Magical Telegram from who ever is on the Throne at that time
That cruiser sounded painful under that bridge.... thought..... that clump of weed...could that tangled in a prop if you went over it...??? and some lovely clouds as the rain came in.......
The storm provided fabulous cloud formation. You really wouldn’t want to go over the clump of weed . I often see things floating down the river. Long planks of wood are spotted occasionally too.
wow , that first boat went with a right crush , Ouch , i sometimes wonder ,when they tell you at the boatyard what height your boat is , whether they take into consideration the bars on top as well , it looked quite stormy at your end .
@@NewnameSameme , hi leasa , we had really bad rain the other day , which slightly flooded our drive even though we have two long grates , but luckily it did'nt last long lol .
Another good reason to not own a boatyard... It won't matter soon anyway if left to the BA as they want the boats off the system and no one to go there just more examples of lack of investment in the system take a leaf out of the Belgian waterways much much better and more organised

Thank you for watching
As an ex native I find that watching your videos makes me realise just how much I miss Norfolk.
Oh my goodness, that’s a very touching comment. When you next book a holiday, make it be in Norfolk.

Another great video, as always! Hopefully summer has started proper now, so even more boat action! 🙂
Let’s hope so. 🛥️🛥️⛵️
Thank you for watching.
That's a great stormy sky, looks very dramatic!
Extremely dramatic. It certainly delivered. Then I watched it going out to sea. Best place for it.
🌧️ ⛈️🌩️⚡️
Thanks for that it was great to watch all the boats but a shame about the weather!! Have a good weekend.
It’s very busy out there now.
Have a great weekend, thanks for watching.
Ouch! That was quite a crunch 😳 Not what you want to hear. Ah the things that you see and hear on the Norfolk Broads 😅
There’s always something Hev. I only caught the sound as it was exiting the bridge but it was like that all the way along the bridge. That poor bridge.
Similar to the one that "shifted" his sliding hatch the other day... Interesting videos thanks.
Yes just like the other one. 😱🛥️
Thank you for watching
Nics to see a Weston 670 at @18:20 . Loved my one
Thanks for the mention .See you in 10 weeks

That was quite a crunch going under the bridge, doubt they got their deposit back!
It was certainly loud.
Thank you for watching.
I haven't seen such an absence of drama since the second series of Bergerac.
The noise of the boat roof touching the bridge all the way through.
Do they dredge under the bridge(s)? A lot of new hirers do not anticipate beautiful but rather small for modern purposes upto 1000 year old bridges. They are a challenge for many people but worth it!
You would need to check with the Broads Authority about dredging under bridges.
Thank you for watching. 🛥️⛵️

Listen to the quiet.... before the Summer
Not long now 🛥️⛵️

As for the cameras, I’ve no idea. 🤷🏻♀️

Sorry,I should have put the 25th😂
@stephenshippam9374 sadly I’ll be working in the morning. I’ll see if I can film you at Ranworth in the afternoon.

10 years we lived on a Caribbean " a low one" and never once found we were unable to get under
Spring tides do play havoc

It was extremely stormy Lori. Torrential rain, thunder, the full works. ⚡️🌩️⛈️🌧️⚡️

That’s his damage waiver gone then
Damage waivers are non refundable.
These poor people booking a holiday in July thinking the weather will be good 😢
I totally agree. 🛥️⛵️
My wife and I’s favourite spot to watch people being completely stupid with boats, sat on the bench on the opposite bank for hours.
It’s a great spot . I wish there was a bench on the car park side too.
He won't get his security deposit back will he! xxx
Apparently you don’t get it back anyway.,🤷🏻♀️
Lovely to hear from you, hope you are ok xx
why are those cruisers mooring in a sailing vessel de masting place its like parking in a disabled car park when your not disabled
You need to speak to the Broads Authority directly as they won’t see your comment on here.
People wouldn't.try it in their own boats or on the road in their car.
Well said 🙌👏🏻
