Yes, I too remember the Challenger cruisers from many years ago. I didn't realise Aquafibre are no longer in business. Too many of the old boat builders/yards are no longer with us. I too was wondering what the black tubes were for when I went passed them. There was some kind of framework on it as well.

I remember you saying you were invited by David and Vicky for a trip on their boat and did wonder if you went because the weather was horrible that particular day. It is not often we get to see that stretch of the river and I am surprised the abandoned boats are not removed by the authorities.

The Aquafibre Ideal 45 is another boat I have fond memories of with its distinctive looks. It’s a real shame this boat builder is no longer with us.

I do like to see the changing colours of autumn , but i hate to see bare trees in winter , richos yard was nearly empty when we were there last . Your holidays always seem to go so quick , too quick really lol .

That was a lovely barge , never seen it before , ive only been back home a couple of days from the broads & i'm still swaying 😅😅

Great video Lisa, as usual. I really like the dramatic sunset shots towards the end. The unusual barge, 'Hoogtij', is Dutch for High Tide, if anyone is interested.

Berney Arms - A little addition to the story. I was told that the station was built at the insistence of Mr Berney and the railway company dutifully erected it and then didn't bother to stop their trains there for many years after it was open, as a sort of petty revenge.

The Breydon crossing is always a big day when I go on holiday with my Dad. If you get the time wrong and punch the tide it feels very wrong (in a hire boat anyway, with nearly no power to spare) having the throttle nearly full ahead for such a long time. Would love to cross some time in a boat with a few hundred spare HP and then barely need more than tickover to get up the river against the last of the ebb tide 😂

When you were doing the live, I did not appreciate how windy it was until I just saw the cruisers crossing Breydon. It certainly was windy! I hope if you go live tomorrow as mentioned below, I catch you.

Lovely video as usual. Never been to these spots although we tried to go to burgh castle once but never found the river. Vicky will not let me go boating on Braydon so we have to stick to the northern broads which we know quite well . Hopefully we will be at Ludham on sunday afternoon and again on friday we will have the kettle on.

Me and a friend went to the Broads in 2017, we hired a smaller boat which was low level, san soleno i think it was called, anyway we managed to do most of the Broads within a week including Braydon Waters, that was a bit nerve wracking but thoroughly enjoyable especially the view of the many wading birds which cover the flats, would love to go back some day, thanks for sharing with us 😊

It seems to be busy everywhere today , we went to wroxham & through horning , but it was very busy & very noisy too lol , we're now sat at hunsett mill , & it's throwing it down .

I remember trying to get back under the Beccles bridge (the cruiser in this video would never fit under that one) and of course a pilot took the boat through and we had to get as many people aboard as possible so she would ride low enough in the water.

Hi Lisa, a lovely Sunday afternoon relaxing watch for Wendy and me. It really did change temperature in the week, we had a good frost with people scraping car windows. Wish we were sat there with you looking at boats🛶🛥️🚤❤😍🥰😘👍

It is great the weather is still good for those n the water even though it is not as warm now. Everyone is saying how cold it is but I have not felt cold when I have gone outside. I am cold inside the house if sat for too long😂😂😂. Enjoy your weekend!
