Those poor people on the boat with no working canopy, I know it was their fault but 😮 I was curious to see what a heatwave on the broads was like, we are travelling up as the next one starts. Thank goodness we are not on a boat this time😳. Love the sound of the birds in the background, lovely video ❤
Thank you Hev. I park under the trees. There is usually a couple of birds who wish to appear in my videos 🤭. Yes another heatwave . I need to find the shade these days. The people on the damaged boat had to go back to the boat yard. It was raining and the canopy wouldn’t close. I don’t know if it was the end of their holiday or if they were able to continue once fixed. Enjoy your holiday Hev xx

Anyone telling me about heatwaves and Hot weather in 2024 Obviously did not experience Uk Summer time in the 60/70/80’s - Golden Sunshine from Dawn til Dusk, June til October, and if Anyone was Too hot, an Ice Cream Truck was never Far Away, hearing the Chimes Jingle on the Summer Breeze, or you could go to the corner shop to get a Tip-Top or a “Jubbly”, which was a Huge flavoured lump of ice in a weird Triangle shape that kept us occupied for hours - Front & Back doors left wide open with only “Fly Curtains” from Woolworths guarding our privacy, not that we needed to cos most people minded their own business in my experience back then. Stay cool Maan 😂 😎
Interesting video as always. In the run up to my stay on the broads, I thought I'd give Herbert Woods a call to enquire about overnight mooring/using their services such as pump-out/water top up/shore power etc. This would have been just after 4:30pm so 30 minutes before they shut. Having rang for a few seconds I audibly heard them pick up the phone and immediately slammed, I got the impression they just wanted to go home for the day and couldn't be bothered. I was a bit stunned to be honest and felt quite rude. I've seen a few videos of rude staff at Herbert Woods, hassling people filming near their premises. Have you ever encountered rudeness or general negativity from them?
No never towards me. I’ve a video somewhere of when I stayed in one of their apartments. It was fabulous and the staff were very helpful. Sorry to hear about your experience though.

It has not only hot but humid too in my opinion. The hounds are very lucky to have their own paddling pool to cool down in! It was looking lovely down at Ludham Bridge with all the activity. I can now understand why the barge is always moored there to enable access to supplies. Were you by any chance down there this afternoon 2 o/c ish as I thought I spotted your car? I did not realise until I was going over the bridge coming home otherwise I would have stopped and said hello. I always find your videos so helpful as they introduce me to so many places of interest to visit. Have a great weekend!
Pure chaos on the north side of the broads from April to September wouldn’t catch me taking my boat up there the south side is so much better and relaxing Most people own there boats on the south side so people tent to have abit more respect and common sense people on these hire boats have no experience in boating what so ever the amount out hire boats that damage other boats is madness
