Melanie, I first learned about this concept of codependency from one of your videos several years ago when I was in the painful throes of cutting a narcissist out of my life. While none of us deserves being the target of narcissistic abuse, we all need to come to terms as to why we are susceptible to these sociopathic manipulators.
Thank you for helping me understand this. I am pretty much healed these days with no narcissists (directly) in my life. These days I'm more disturbed by these "political and religious cults of personality" . It is a very disturbing trend in our modern world. I fear that sensitive and creative humans are losing this battle and worry about the direction of the world.

While I am grateful to Alanon in many ways , I also foud some real downsides. It sayd : Only take you rown inventory, not your quailifiers inventory. Yes I agree that you can not chamge others, only yourself , BUT when you drive an unsafe car, you shoud be able to take a good look under the hood. The it says to be encouragng to the Alcohlic", and that is confusing too.

Does anyone have any thoughts about a malignant narcissist, obsessed with pedo’s? Watching shows about them, constantly accusing other people of it? Everybody and anybody? Seriously fixated on it?
They are perverse and project
But I also am suspicious of everyone being a perve , these days the demons and sin is everywhere
@@JesuisLord I am also wary of people and far from naive, but this narcissist suspected almost everyone in our lives at some point, from family members, to work colleagues, to Facebook friends, neighbours, would immediately jump to that conclusion for example if someone had lots of nice holidays or a brand new car he would say “I bet they’re involved in a pedo ring” it was utterly bizarre. Makes me think about projection and mirroring.
I was pedoed as a kid _ today they come out of the shadows_ show their face and confess to me_ I'm throwing up everywhere _ I can't eat _ the world is so sick_ abusers everywhere
Jesus keeps reminding me_ only 33 percent will be saved _ radical acceptance.

I have a desire to love him selflessly, he’s triggered a mother instinct in me. I have not given him anything in 7 years only focused on loving my self and needs. We have a two year old and I’d like to see him do some healing work 😢 I am whole and not trying to get anything ❤ so at peace but not full if I want him to join me in partnership . Pride of his comes before a fall and that’s what it’ll take . I’ll be moving on just sucks still

Why is it so hard to see my ex as a narcissist?
Narcissists emotional development has been arrested and compromised (by early trauma etc etc, but who isn't?) and they are trapped as kids or toddlers in adult bodies, in Nature this basically makes for a biological monster. In this sense they are pathological. Let's face it: the same behaviour from a kid would be normal and accepted and can hurt but somehow it does not hurt because the the nature of the relationship and looks.
The problem and torment is never outside but always within, and there are never real "problems" in life, there are just different kind of "handlings", unless we want to feel and become "victims".
The narcissists are not the problem, they problem is why one is attracted and attaches and trauma bonds to them in such a way.
Cannot fix anything outside of us, only inside, unless we want to play the victim, staying more stuck.
The narcissist is a mirror unfortunately, one cannot blame the mirror, even if in the mirror everything is reversed, and one does not recognise oneself, because in the mirror the left is right and the right is left.
The narcissist is a stepping stone, cannot blame the stone if we stumble over it.
There are not victims and no blames, just new awareness and consciousness and new "Know thyself" thanks to them.
Otherwise it is always a loop, small or large, but a loop and return of the same.
