Good video mate, I have an old Mac and I just bought a new Mac, I want to transfer everything but the newer Mac has a smaller memory capacity, hence I bought a new Lacie external HDD, however despite of the fact that I could entirely use this External HDD for a Time Machine to backup everything from my old Mac and to transfer it to the new Mac, but then, will it become the new Time Machine for the new Mac? or what should I do? Should I partition the external HDD as well to have also the possibility to use it as an External HDD apart from as a Time Machine? I would really appreciate your prompt reply on this, many thanks!
Hi, I just followed your instructions for my hard drive, but I wrongly followed the instructions for an SSD. Then after I did that I did it again for hard drive. Will I be ok? Thanks

I’m sure it’s somewhere in other 13 minutes --bless you! It’s like me -- sometimes! I learned that the direct approach is what we are here for --it said “Time Machine!” And after 9:25 MINUTES we didn’t get to it YET 🚨😉🙃😉🙃😉🙃😉🙃🤗💖🧚♀️ have a great life!
on 5:10 is it going to delete all of my stuff if i put it on fastest? Because i only want “some” stuff to have more space i don’t want to erase to sell it
I loved this video but now my iMac won't let me copy folder to the Lacie. I get a beach ball going round and round on my iMac. it is only 3 years old so it is not because it is old. Do you have any suggestions for fixing this or how to get my pictures off my iPhone or iPad on to the Lacie? Has Lacie made it so if you erase their downloaded items it can no longer work?
