Hi, I have a laptop but in CPU-Z says that my CPU is Raptor Lake but Raptor Lake only appears in the Desktop folder. Is there a problem if i use the desktop file having a laptop?
Intel xe graphics cannot be used in macOS, but raptor lake yes,so if you can add an AMD graphics to your laptop, you can install macOS. The best way to do this is use a thunderbolt dock 😂. For laptops there is another problem, you need to turn off the “CFG LOCK” in BIOS but this option is usually hidden in the laptop BIOS
Error : "An Internet connection is required to install MacOS",, even though I connect my system with ethernet to router,, it still won't continue further.
The solution is very simple friends, no need of LAN for WiFi users. Just find the WiFi kext folder of your system and edit the 'info.plist' file inside the kext. folder. In my case this (itlwm.kext) was needed for my laptop's Wireless-AC 9462. After editing the 'info.plist' enter the ssid_name and password of your WiFi in the SSID and Password section in the WiFi section and save the file.
Working for me but some minor change for those who can’t manage to see the recovery option during boot. Got to start from beginning. Recreate the partitions. Only need 2 partitions, EFI (FAT) 10000MB and MACOS (exFAT) balanceMB. Dump 2 files EFI and recovery into EFI drive. That’s it! Boot up into that ext hard disk and voila!
