Very Impressive work you are doing.
Working for me but some minor change for those who can’t manage to see the recovery option during boot. Got to start from beginning. Recreate the partitions. Only need 2 partitions, EFI (FAT) 10000MB and MACOS (exFAT) balanceMB. Dump 2 files EFI and recovery into EFI drive. That’s it! Boot up into that ext hard disk and voila!
Not working. recovery option APPEARS but when you click on it, it returns to the menu.

@@milandas9282it should appear on the left side pane or you have to re-do again and re-partition MACOS exFAT again. It should appear in disk utility in the recovery.

I followed the instructions exactly, but when I boot from the external hard drive the "macos Recovery" option doesn't appear.
Very interesting description. I tried also and i see 2 Boot Options: "Bootcamp Windows" and "Reset NVRAM" - The CPU is CoffeeLake at ASROCK Mainboard - What's my fault?

@@NewProfessor2024 I got the Tip to increase the first partition and put the recovery files also on this. Now i see three Options ... but unfortunately after booting the recovery system i stuck with "Internet Connection required"
@@michafischer i made the EFI partition from 100MB to 2000MB in order to keep as FAT, putting EFI and recovery files onto it. It showed the macOS Recovery option on boot up but it stuck at "MAC reboot" of the black screen.

for anyone having issues. he has a second video, where he installs directly on a PC/laptop. on there he has links to different EFI files(for a few more chip types) and a different recovery file. using those files but following these steps (as well as setting the EFI to 2000 and putting the recovery files on the EFI) i got it working 100%.
also, my PC seemed to have UEFI secure boot on which you need to disable in BIOS.
my next thought is, can this be done on an SD card? i don't see why not, if i copied it using DD in linux...we will see!

@@josingaqare you formatting it as APFS(apple file system?) also what is the size of the partition or drive you are formatting. it needs to be larger than 30gb i think.
format(by erasing and formatting as apfs) then go back to install option and it should show up

You can use any kind of drive you want. Even (although not recommended) a USB stick, as long it has the necessary space.

I increased the size of the efi partition and put two installer and efi files in it. Now the installation option is shown. After the screen goes black and the black writings are shown moving in the form of a list, unfortunately the system restarts after a short time and I repeated this process again, but I did not go through this part and only the system is reset at this stage. For fun its good but not for daily routine, Main reason is graphic only 7 mb
That’s not a hard drive problem, that is efi config problem, you have to patch gpu urself. Much faster than running it off of my old HDD, external ssd better
@@superaviation001 I didn't say it's hard drive issue, To fix graphic issue I have tried it before. read many forms and applied recommendation config but ended up with nothing, so I dropped the idea

Increase the size of efi to 2000mb, then put installer dmg on there which you can get from opencore. Should work then

You didn’t properly select the right partition i guess. Please ensure MACOS partition was initially set to exFAT.
