Ahhh! I love the love for Modica! It's my ancestral hometown and I got married in the San Giorgio church there! Needless to say, our guests were definitely impressed with the food. 🙂
I had the arancini ragu when it just came out of the kitchen. It was probably the best Arancini I ever had. I regret that I only bought one. The egg inside is an amazing surprise. Loved it!!!
My best friend growing up was from 1st generation Italian immigrants and i loved when her parents would hand make ricotta and mozzarella. Her parents made everything from scratch. The food I ate at their house was amazing. I miss her parents and all the beautiful food they made and fed me with. ❤.
I’ve been binging all of your Italy vlogs. I can’t stop. You guys are so sweet and loving. The scenery and the food are so beautiful. I hope for more Italy vlogs on your next visit. ❤
Just came back from Rome and thanks so much for your suggestions! We had pasta, pizza, and even maritozzo based on your recommendations and such a great time!!
I shouldn't watch your videos before dinner - I always feel so full after watching you eating all those amazing foods! And then it makes my dinner taste so boring. But I wouldn't miss your updates for the world! Thank you for making me smile & making me dream I am right there with you! 🤩🤩
Italy is where you are surrounded by beauty that you can see, hear, smell, touch and taste simultaneously. There is so much beauty in Italy it sometimes can feel overwhelming. It feels like your heart is about to burst. Then you need to pause, relax and it let it just flow over you and you can't help but to feel grateful for every single moment. I literally cannot wait to get back there.
Over emotional and maudlin a bit, it seems. And its not surprising that most of these over effusive, and over the top, gushing, comes from women. People cannot survive on beauty alone. There's a reason why Italy had and continues to have a great outmigration. Ask Alessio.
I love to see all your videos coming from Sicily! My family comes from Sicily, I visited for the first time this summer and am counting the minutes until I can return. Thank you!!
Love this video - many thanks (as always) Jessi & Alessio for introducing us to this gorgeous, scenic and enchanting city - beautiful 🎶 The architecture, cannoli, granita, chocolate, savory sandwiches, everything - spectacular - amazing trip. I ordered a ‘Ciao Y’All’ T-shirt - totally cool and original greeting 😊 love it❣️
Thanks for the video! this is where my family immigrated from over a 100 years ago really cool to see! I hope to go sometime and eat all that delicious food!
I love love your videos. Such a beautiful city. I feel like I was walking along with you. Such a wonderful experience. I felt the wind and smelled the jasmine. I will watch again and again. ❤❤❤❤👍🏻🧓🏻🇺🇸Texas 23:45
I really appreciate a crispy cannolo shell too! And wow, that arancino was so uniquely shaped! This video especially was so much fun to vicariously taste through you guys!
I'm drooling. I need to go back to Sicily since the last time I went, most of it was spent of one of the islands. This next time I'm going to try to do it all. Just trying to figure out if two weeks is enough time. At least now I know where to eat, just have to figure what to do between meals lol.
Salve ragazzi. Realtà come Modica ne esistono tantissime in tutta Italia. Grazie e buon viaggio.
This is amazing. I've never heard of ricotta cream. I love that they let the chocolate rest to gain the flavors in the tins❤❤ I am planning a huge trip with my son when he graduates so I'm taking all the notes!
Oh you can see the crispy shell on the canollo. I have never heard of cremolata, and I must have this. I never thought of chocolate as medicinal, but it makes all kinds of sense. By now should know better than to watch you two late at night when I wasn't hungry and now I am.
Guys I'm from Sicily, I'm from a town in the center of the island. I'm so happy that you guys had the chance to eat the "Tavola Calda" (they are the Sciacce and the Arancino at the end of the video). Basically we call them generically "Tavola Calda" because it's better to eat when they are a bit warm. As Jessi at one point as spot out, the dough is special and made with the "Strutto" (a sort of lard). I live abroad and I use to bring with me a plate with 4/5 pieces of them when I fly away from Sicily. Furthermore, as you have said, it's very cheap. And Alessio, when it comes to food in Sicily, you should always listen Jessi :) One is never enough. PS. If by any chance you read this comment and you are still in Sicily, visit Agira.
There was a few times Alessio's mom has been on Camera. Especially the time they were having the different cheeses in the rain in the backyard. His mom kept asking if they wanted to sit somewhere out of the rain.
Thank you guys for your videos! they somehow improve my mood and i get calmer while and after watching your videos🧘♀ i would love to see your content guys more often and as an idea for that, Alessio's rating of in-n-out menu would be great, or let's say sharing some new recipes like lasagna or more pasta😊
I can’t wait to visit Italy... you make me fall in love more with this country. by the way, what’s the name of the last shop where you bought the bread for dinner?
Loved the video! Enjoy following your adventures and this trip was so fun. Do you have the name and website address of the chocolate shop that has the 3 ingredient chocolate and the metal box from Kentucky? I would love to order some chocolate from them!
I have heard while driving in Italy, some cities introduced kind of fees entering by car into a city, fees that apparently you can pre paid but if you are not aware of it or which district is subject to fees, you end with massive penalties. How to know the procedures? Any website for gathering city by city the information?
It depends on the town or city but yes, in general there are zones that should not be entered by car unless you live there and have a permit. That’s usually the historical center of the town. And btw Italians get fined all the time for these restrictions as well. A couple of years ago I went to Verona, took the wrong turn, realized my mistake and immediately turned back. Got fined twice for passing into the same spot! 😂
@avonlave I was wondering. I would love to attempt to make that peach thing Jessi was having some time later at home but wasn't sure if the ricotta at my local grocery store was the same as what they are having.
@@WestTXRedneck1972I'm sure it'll still be tasty. It's not like I haven't had some delicious cannoli in the US. Just not quite as good as in Sicily! (Of course with cannoli the other ingredient that is difficult to find in the US is high quality pistachio)
Ahhh! I love the love for Modica! It's my ancestral hometown and I got married in the San Giorgio church there! Needless to say, our guests were definitely impressed with the food. 🙂
I am in malta and you guys have opened my eyes to the many day trips we can do!!! Yummy
I had the arancini ragu when it just came out of the kitchen. It was probably the best Arancini I ever had. I regret that I only bought one. The egg inside is an amazing surprise. Loved it!!!
Alessio seems to be in Food Heaven in Sicily! It's fun to see him enjoy things so fully!
Jessi is so lovely and so nice, a true southern beauty
About food, never save money, in Italy, remember!😍
you right!
Loving the new content! Please keep it up! Italy has always been on my bucket list, in particular Sicily, and now even more so!
My favourite place in all of Italy- Modica, ahhhh, just beautiful…
Yummerilo to the chocolate! ❤
Listening and watching him speak in Italian is truly beautiful.
I always say it’s cheaper to buy more while you’re there, than to buy another plane ticket and go back.
Why don't just teleport?
Thanks for taking me along❤❤❤ I love watching these Italian adventures❤ I laughed at the Always Get More comment Jessi😂😂😂😂
My best friend growing up was from 1st generation Italian immigrants and i loved when her parents would hand make ricotta and mozzarella. Her parents made everything from scratch. The food I ate at their house was amazing. I miss her parents and all the beautiful food they made and fed me with. ❤.

I recently found your channel. You are living my dream
Enjoyed every bite with you....wish we could just follow you around and eat what you eat. all so amazing and mouthwatering.

Thanks for taking us along; so beautiful.
I want to go to Italy just for the chocolate and food you tried!!😊
Visited those places and can really confirm that the Cannoli and the Granita in the video are simply fantastic
Awesome!😊😘💖
I get so hungry watching you both . I hope to visit Italy one day. Love you both 🤗🤗

I just got home from a Northern Italy trip and want to go back asap for the Southern!

The two of you should do your own tours. I would follow you like a puppy!😂
I really enjoy your videos guys! What's the music you used at 6:46, as you're walking up to the Duomo, please ? Love it!
Awww so sweet he apologized for taking too much pistachios… ❤❤❤
❤ Great content. Love Alessio's accent and gesticulations. 😊
Awesome, video. Very interesting. Makes me want to go back to Italy! Good music tracks, too. What camera/lens are you using for these?
Why do we never see Alessio’s family? Parents, siblings? That would be nice to meet them.
I know you right! because when we go to eat to my brother o with my dad e mom we don't film but I will do it
Maybe they only eat Pizza Hut. LOL
Maybe they don’t want to be filmed. Mind your business.
There was a few times Alessio's mom has been on Camera. Especially the time they were having the different cheeses in the rain in the backyard. His mom kept asking if they wanted to sit somewhere out of the rain.

My wife and i will be staying two nights in modica in august....is that enough? we are huge foodies. we are super excited
U have to many best 😮😮
How can anyone hate cinnamon? It's delicious.
Loved the POV segment! Hehehe
I can’t wait to visit Italy... you make me fall in love more with this country. by the way, what’s the name of the last shop where you bought the bread for dinner?
please don't be fooled by tourist traps, unfortunately in Italy, in the most touristy cities there are more local traps than authentic places
Where did u get the last food, the scacce and arancino?
Does anyone have the name and address of the chocolate shop?
Great video!
Sabadi Chocolate Factory
Antica dolceria Bonajuto, Modica, in province of Ragusa, Sicily.
Loved the video! Enjoy following your adventures and this trip was so fun. Do you have the name and website address of the chocolate shop that has the 3 ingredient chocolate and the metal box from Kentucky? I would love to order some chocolate from them!
You had me at “a city famous for its chocolate”.
Have you tried chocolate covered coffee bean? So good.😊
Fate un ottima pubblicità al Bel Paese!!!💪
Do you have a links to the chocolate shops?❤
I have traveled all over Italy in only a few hours tonight watching your videos! ❤❤😂😂
Cheers.
❤❤❤
jessi what is the name of the chocolate shop I want some now.

why guys you didnt go to Ragusa ?
What are the names of the chocolate places you visited
❤
Is the Ricotta there in Italy different than what we have in the US? That peach deal looks so good.
Yes it's either goat or sheep milk ricotta. Has more flavor.
@avonlave I was wondering. I would love to attempt to make that peach thing Jessi was having some time later at home but wasn't sure if the ricotta at my local grocery store was the same as what they are having.

Ciao amico!!!!
Certo che è diversa ! In Italia è buonissima
I see the Moor influence in Sicily.
It’s there along with the Norman, the Greek, the Roman… Sicily changed hands so many times it’s difficult to list them all
To the Mars needs to be a Tee shirt! 😂
Willy Wonka must have started all his dreams there. ❤
Wait, so thats why Patrick and SpongeBob were selling their chocolates saying you could lose weight 😂🤣🤣
Good thing you guys are young and can run up and down the hill, 😅😂lol❤❤
You guys remind me so much of Lucy and Desi
You didn't taste or show the impanatigghi. Cassatine made with ground meat chocolate and spices
No better food in all the world
Le impanatgghie...inimitabili
