  • Supporting Eradication of Statelessness in Kenya. The Shona Community arrived in Kenya from Zimbabwe as Christian missionaries during the 1970s. Despite living in the country for over 50 years, they remain unrecognized by the government and have not been granted Kenyan citizenship and cannot enjoy the services that nationals enjoy.

    Thank you very much Kenya 🇰🇪. Those are my people. If I was the president of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, Kenyans will come to Zimbabwe without a passport. Thank you. China and Myanmar must learn from the civilized Kenya in terms of humanity.

    I am happy listening to that man speaking shona fluently. That's my language.
    The surnames very similar with ours for sure. Kenya and Zimbabwe one country. I like it.

      But which Makonde brothers my sister?seems all or some SADC and Central Africa or if not all African states are all a result of one people emigrating to and from the continent zones for different economic reasons and to an unbelievable state for military reasons and as we understand more these reasons we can even solve the various conflicts

    No African person or person of African descent should ever be "stateless" in Africa...Periodt! These borders that we "confine" ourselves in are just pegs for marking territories put there by our colonizers when they were dividing the land of Africa among themselves ........ don't let them separate us and pull us apart! Let's learn to respect, accept and accommodate each other as Africans and as black people PLEASE! I hope our gvt leaders wake up to this fact! Edit: neither should any suffer xenophobia on African soil!

    • @brightchako1832
      @brightchako1832 ปีที่แล้ว

      Every leader who refuses settlement of fellow African for non military economic reasons is an agent of recolonization.....and borders MUST be removed for a greater more active economic activity..the greater Africa jus like the European Union Economic Zone or an even far much better economic zone than that of Europe because the African one would be planned upon all global races including Spanish, Chinese,Russians, Aussies etc and where no racial class exists

    Very interesting indeed!! These people are bring refered to as Shonas but I have seen Ndebeles and Shonas among them. Dubes, Dlaminis and Tshumas. How did they identify themselves as a Shona grouping? One thing I know for sure is they are Zimbabweans and Zim embassy shud assist as well

    • @crzyrdr
      @crzyrdr 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My thoughts as well. I guess it's easier to just say the whole community is Shona. Even though there are clear Ndebeles. If they use Zim it would be like Kenya vs Zimbabwe. So Shona in Kenya is less invasive.
