- Residents spoke out Thursday night at the Webster Town Board meeting - the first one since police body-worn-camera on Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley’s encounter with Webster Police following an attempted traffic stop was released. www.whec.com/top-news/residen...
She should have been fired immediately at the very least.
Reportedly, according to the NY constitution, only the Governor can terminate the DA. Due process is required. The Governor initiated the process by referring the matter to the appropriate authority for a complete investigation. Once the investigation is completed, I would think we will be hearing from the Governor again.
Talk is useless, *VOTE*
Need to vote ANYONE that has supported her out of office.
*Need to call them and let them know that. Even if they ever fire her. They are complicit.*
They are “investigating* is THEM telling us to go pound sand.
She should have been arrested and put in jail!
At the very least, she should be suspended, pending the investigation.
She is elected. It isn't that easy.
Why has she not been charged for fleeing?????
Going in and out of her SUV, her home in front of an officer - any private citizen would have been beaten, and the cop would have justified it by stating he was in fear for his life.
@@glenngallegosspare the hyperbole...
@@wilsonk1464 I see you believe in the two tier system
Because (apparently) fleeing from the police isn't a crime in Monroe County...at least, *that's the message they've chosen to send to the public...*
@@ianbattles7290 FALSE.
I like that argument. If DA stays, then everyone should be treated equally and have the Police Chiefs number. They should be able to drive home during a traffic stop instead of pulling over immediately.
Just imagine this woman trying to prosecute somebody else for running from the police...
I've been saying this. If thats the new rules I'm fine with it. As long as it applies to EVERYONE
Corrupt police chief should be fired. Doorley should be in jail!
Police Chief no show ??? What a surprise.
Chief is hiding
He's a coward
He’s hiding behind the thin blue line.
They’re all in hibernation 🐻 .. Bello ‘ Baxter ‘ Doorley ‘ Evans ‘ Kohlmeirer
They Duckin 🦢 🦆🪿
GO FIGURE REALLY I would have hid too if I threw my good officer under the bus. And thats exactly what he did. His Officer did the right thing< thats what Chief said, My question is did the Chief do the right thing? No he did not. He should have told his officer, this lady is no different than anyone else. Cuff and stuff her. But NO.. He dumped it on his officer. At the point that officer called his superior, his superior should have taken over, and showed the officer the right way, Not she apologized, all is well. And to me basically thats what he said in his little written or typed speech, why not face the people? Come out and talk to the people, let them ask you questions. DIDNT THINK SO!!!!!! You Chief owe your officer a apology as well the way you did him, when he did the right thing. Do you really feel good the example you made for your other officers there? Just curious. DO YOU?
How many people got the book thrown at them for the same crimes Doorley committed?
Or tased.
I’ve seen body cam footage of people being arrested for what she did.
@@spencer9488I have also seen footage of people being let off with a citation for doing much worse than her. What is your point?
Does this district attorney know cops are killed everyday? She purposely disobeyed direct orders and physically reached into “unknown” areas. She needs to resign immediately. She doesn’t get the “I’m having a bad day” pass. She is NOT genuine.
If her job is bad enought to make her break the law, well its time to give it up.
All citizens should have the Chief's phone number for when we get pulled over 😂😂👍 D.A. sets new precedent 😂
If the district attorney doesn't have to stop for the police, *why should anybody stop for the police?*
🤣
@@ianbattles7290I am guessing that from their point of view the answer is simple. You are not part of their club and they have guns. Not to mention by being in the club if they use said guns they will probably be investigated by their department and find no wrong doing.
She should resign if not fired...How is there NOT any accountability???
She can't be fired easily. She is an elected official. But she can be removed from office.
If she had any class and a sense of shame, she'd do the right thing and resign.
But narcissists never do the right thing and they are shameless.
Since when has the police or any other government agency been held accountable???
@@orlandoguitarist More often that you know, obviously.
@@AFAskygoddessagreed. If she had any shame, she wouldn’t have done all that.
Proud of his officer for not doing his job ? The chief needs to go also
The first officer did right. She is a public servant, this is why he called his superior. He was making sure he did the right thing, which is what a officer is to do in a situation like this. His Chief let him down. When the chief got there or the superior got there, there should have been no private conversations, he should have place her ass on cuffs, and made his officer proud for the job he did. No he didnt do anything but put the burden on his officer who was asking his superior for help. The Chief did this man wrong in every sense of the word. He should be gone. This is how we get corrupt officers. The young officers see the seasoned officers do this type of crap and it spirals out of contro. I sure hope this good officer finds a town with honest cops and DA he very much deserves it.
@annetteslocum2719 We don't know what police chief Dennis Kohlmeier said to the DA, Officer Cameron Crisafulli, or those supervisors (neither was him if you look up and compare). We won't get any statement from him given it's under investigation. The officer only did things half right
He backed down on lawfully arresting her for the failure to stop. He talked it out to both supervisors who didn't tell him what to do with his stop.
This is why people say ACAB
The officer WAS doing his job but the DA called the chief who called him off. That's why the chief is so proud of him, he obeyed.
She stomped his face in for 35 minutes straight .. made him look like a J.V Hall Monitor out there
Anyone else would have been tased and arrested, for fleeing , eluding ,and resisting, NO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER,
I totally agree with this..
Shame on her she should be FIRED!!!
Fire the Webster Town Board!
What did they do wrong. Fire everyone! Scorched earth policy.
@@sudano9958 "What did they do wrong" That is the point, they have done nothing. Meaning they are part of the problem.
@@michaelspring3915That is a stretch. Pull in your emotions and start using some rational logic.
@@michaelspring3915 You are playing a game of semantics without answering the question. The officer had full discretion before the call and had full discretion after the call and gave a ticket. The Board had nothing to do with the call. Sandra Doorley is the only one here at fault. Trying to blame innocent people hurts you more than you think.
Does the town board have the authority to fire her? Where's Hochul?
Any charges? sounds and looks like corruption...
At its best. And the Chief is teaching his officers this is ok what he did. SHAME SHAME and we wander why we have so many corrupt police officers, Well heres where it starts. This is this cops superior doing this. Come on now. Let me teach you how to push things under the rug here now, She apologized and thats all we need. BULLSHIT !!!!!! nThis woman needs some jail, bet she will remember the next time lights light up behind her what they mean.. If she does not get jail time, every American needs to stand up and ask Why???????????? She is not above the law. Hope her town demands jail for her, and let everyone see her nice new bracelets to go with her Tahoe. Hope the town demands this good officer a promotion, and show him doing right is the right thing to do. Keep up the good work. Bring all the corruption to light. If shes doing this, you can bet this isnt all she is or has done. Just my opinion. What else has she did that she was above the law for? HMMMMMMMMMMMMM one has to question. If you have the guts to run from cops, you will do anything I would guess. She is a criminal. She looked like OJ in front of that Cop. JAIL TIME
Make her arrest public. we deserve to see a tyrant go down.
She got her lil speeding ticket. Bunch of bs
@@Rolandeld1999 yep, you know it, it would be a felony if you are I did this
@@Rolandeld1999a speeding ticket that she will be prosecuting over as per her own words in the video.
Anyone else would either be eating dirt or taking a dirt nap.
Dirt nap 😴 with handcuffed 😅
Or at the very least, sitting their ass in a jail cell.
Without a breathalyzer at the scene she already officiated responsibility
I'm going to need Dennis's number! 😂
Needs to resign or be fired
so she has not been charged and not fired....talking about privilege at its finest.
Keep on the citizens, make her stan accountable for her actions. And I really liked how she turned herself in for investigation, to who? Her best friend in another office. WOW she really does think she is all that. There needs to be a ethics complaint, and compplaint made to the Bar Association, This woman has lost her right to represent any town, county in any way to do with the judicial system. If she is entitled here, where and what else has she used her position for, Well guess since we have saw this side ogf her, Well theres no telling what we dont know. She is coruppted and needs to go. How much do these people in office have to do before something is done. I have been watching 2 other towns where their Mayors have so much corruption going on, and instead of stopping it in the beginning, they let this mayor keep going and now the town has 20 million in lAWSUITS, AND 7 MILLION IN DEBT, ITS SO BAD THEIR ATTORNEY WALKED OUT AND QUIT. Wake up town, this woman is corrupt, Dont let her get the town into lawsuits because she is so privaledged, This is where is all starts folks. If this stuff was stopped when it started maybe things would not get as far out of control. If they would hold the people accountable a few times, it might deter the next official of wrong doing, But as long as the people are allowed to break the law, they have nowhere to go but deeper, She ran this time, got by with it, whats next. I sure hope this town really thinks this out and lets this woman go. How can anyone feel as tho they are getting a fair trial from a DA who cant follow the law herself? But she going to sit and judge others. CMON town, does this sound right. If you all do nothing to her it will be you alls fault when she really screws up. Then what????? Guess we should have did something way back when, but she was privaledged and we let her by with it. This is what we often hear after the fact. So why not stop it now>
What a horrible creature the DA is. And the chief is a coward that praised his officers for treating her special because of the power she has. It's not too late for her arrest but once a coward always a coward
When you fear integrity and accountability, you are NOT the good guys.
"Handling a dynamic event..."
She was speeding and refused to yield to a police officer and fled to her home.
THANK YOU CITIZENS - KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK then run for office :)
If only the police chief told THE DA that he is not participating in the conversation, hung up and called the police officer that she doesn't get a pass because she is THE DA. He didn't. So, the town board better have the backbone to do what's right.
He should be fired for saying words on a phone?
@@sudano9958 No, he should be fired for influencing the officer to not enforce the law and attempting to cover up the incident. After they get rid of Doorley, corrupt Police Chief Dennis Kohlmeier needs to go next!
@@sudano9958depending on those words. Absolutely.
She got the ticket!
@@sudano9958yes and in the video she pointed out that she would be the person prosecuting said ticket.
She already used her position to get out of the stop, arrest, and charges which were all deserved!
Respect for her and her office is gone. This was a simple traffic stop and she was an embarrassment to her position.
Above the LAW DA. Her statement to the LEO that she DOESN'T CARE about obeying the law she should be FIRED/DISBARRED NOW!!
The DA is bat-sh*t crazy and in a position of power.
Another win for the ladies..
Not crazy at all. Power hungry and arrogant .
Citizens are pointing out what others see - privileges for elected officials and LEOs. This is not a race matter, but it does expose a two-tier system.
It's both government corruption and a race matter. All you have to do is imagine what would have happened if Doorley was a black man. The officer would have drawn his gun and called S.W.A.T.
Nothing is going to happen, she'll keep her job
Sadly, you are almost certainly correct. The "investigation" into these obvious facts will probably take months, which will allow the public to forget what happened. Then the corrupt officials can simply resume their corrupt habits. Both the D.A. and the cop who showed her favoritism should've been gone yesterday.
She's waiting for it to blow over. In 2 weeks it will disappear from the news
extremely proud of his police department for what exactly? ... for allowing the DA to get away with DUI ... because that's what he allowed to happen
I want to know the phone conversation that she had with the police chief.
I think chief Dennis said why the hell you call me why you never stop why you tell me now we are under scrutiny the DA reply who else should I call
Same for what he said to Officer Cameron Crisafulli and those supervisors.
If calls between a DA Doorley and a Chief Dennis Kohlmeier on duty are not recorded and available for the public to scrutinize, then we know this incident is just the most recent case of corruption. Both Doorley and Kohlmeier need to go!
I totally agree! The traffic stop process needs to be the SAME ACROSS THE BOARD!
I believe DA Doorley needs to be investigated because God knows how many of her prosecuted cases need to be examined to see if she has made huge mistakes.
Makes me wonder how many people she has prosecuted for fleeing from a traffic stop...
We're supposed to listen to people who act like this ??
This is a woman who would put a innocent person behind bars to make herself look good, the only reason she called the chief was to tattle on his officer for doing his job. She thought she would get him in trouble for stopping the over privaledged DA. WELL HOW DID THAT WORK FOR YOU? Now look where you are.
Much respect for those who went up to that podium and spoke. Don't let this fade into obscurity. Keep calling for justice. Don't forget what she said: "If you give me a traffic ticket, that's fine. I'm the one who prosecutes it. " That's what corruption sounds like.
As if she has ever looked at anyones case when they committed a crime and took into account, "they were having a bad day."
The system is so corrupt
Doorley's family must be truly ashamed to be related to her. Same goes for the chief and town supervisor.
If the DA gets away with this, then DO NOT expect anyone else to follow the law!
The chief is 'proud' that his officer didn't do his job? She should have been arrested and in cuffs. If they let her get away with this and allow her to keep her job, they are proving that the law is for civilians only
She needs to remove from her office immediately. Make that cop as a police chief.
The arresting officer needs a raise and praise for doing his job and upholding the law like he is supposed to! Great job officer for not letting her intimidating actions detour you from doing the right thing and doing your job...
Why does the Webster town supervisor say it was a very difficult situation. It was simply an attempted stop for speeding. He should explain what was so difficult. I suppose the situation could be difficult if your officer doesn't recognize the DA in her SUV and attempts to stop her. I suppose it is a difficult situation if the interaction is on body cam and someone requested the release of that footage. And then the footage reveals that Doorley lied in her first written public statement.
This woman fled and eluded the police and refused to follow the law. How is this acceptable??? People have lost their lives for doing what she did and there are no repercussions. This is unacceptable, and if this is not handled properly, I'm sure the citizens will never trust the DA to do the right thing. She needs to resign or be removed to show the public there is transparency.
*why do we need an investigation? we already saw the body cam footage. jail or resign!*
They should keep the focus on the DA and not go after the police department. I have seen several bodycam videos where someone didn't stop and continued to drive home and they were not arrested - yes, even black people. As long as you don't start a high speed chase, usually you are not arrested for failing to stop immediately
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE is attempted bribery of a police officer and or police chief by calling the police chief 😮
Wonder what she does behind closed doors on many of her cases.. she's not to be trusted at all.
I wish I lived closer I would be there. This woman is a 100% bully! Beyond arrogant! Police chief needs to be looked into! And obviously he does this on a regular basis or she would not have called him! Everyone in that district needs his direct phone number! That officer cowards under pressure. I would’ve been in handcuffs in the backseat of a police car!
Police officer and police chief should be fired, they let her slide....Da should go to jail. Period.
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE is failure to pull over for the police and knowingly, not pulling over by calling the police chief 😮
I hope the citizens stay on top of this like a chicken on a June bug. She is not fit to be a DA.
I’d like to see what she’s going to do to try and slither out of this. They have her on camera breaking multiple laws. There’s no way she’s getting away with just a speeding ticket.
She should had a field sobriety test WTH????
@@zeldalyons3457 Probably why she ran.
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE is the district attorney knowingly, instructing the police chief to disregard the law by telling the police officer to leave 😮
She should’ve “just complied.”
This is a legit concern if anyone else would have drove home and walked into their garage ect they would have been shot or place in cuffs!!! No fair!! She said it herself " I prosecute the tickets go ahead give to me" shame on her
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE is attempting to include the police by fleeing into the residence to avoid prosecution 😮
I 100% support the speakers in this video
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE in this video is judicial misconduct😮
I totally agree with the residents! Keep showing up! Get the Chief’s personal cell phone number so you can call him when you get pulled over! I would be upset too. It’s not fair that she gets preferential treatment. Would you let me off like that? This DA needs to resign!! The board needs to take action.
Fire her! She blatantly tried to use her power and authority to get out of that ticket. Then she called the officer an a hole. I have never seen something so disgusting. She literally thinks she is above the law.
WHAT I SEE IS THIS CASE and The more important question is judicial misconduct, for the judge, not recusing himself when he knows the defendant and prosecutor because a special prosecutor and a special judge should have been appointed 😮
I agree with these people, tired of these corrupt officials.
Let a public defender take her case
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE is police misconduct, and corruption 😮
Yet this is the same woman throwing people in jail everyday for the same circumstances. The whole town board needs to be replaced by competent people.
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE is the district attorney called for police reform and got what she wanted however, those rules don’t apply to district attorneys 😮
Just the fact that this woman, in her position, didn't "gather herself" within moments and understand the gravity and stupidity of her initial actions, and not PROFUSELY apologize to the officer right there IN HER GARAGE and take full responsibility of what she did, speaks VOLUMES. ESPECIALLY given she's the DA in the GHETTO city of Rochester, which has the undesirable claim to being one of the most dangerous cities in New York State (per capita it's on top, or close to it in murders and violent crime) and she treats an officer of the law in such a fashion?????? I am human, as we all are, but the fact that this played out as long as it did without her coming to her senses makes me think she shouldn't be in that position, and just the fact that she took as long as she did to address it and "apologize" for it is insulting. JUST THE FACT that she didn't - almost immediately - address her horrible behavior, again, speaks volumes. It's shameful that she doesn't have the decency and backbone to resign. It seems that her attitude and certainly her vanity and lofty opinion of herself isn't suited for the job of DA.
She should be fired and arrested!
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE in this video is speeding over 20 miles an hour and violation of the law 😮
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE From the video, is that new charges can be brought against the prosecutor even criminal charges for the traffic stop 😮
What I see in this case is failure to pull over for an emergency vehicle a.k.a. police car
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE in this video is prosecutor misconduct and/or special counsel misconduct for Miss handling of this speeding ticket case 😮
Tiffany is spot on.
The problem in this country is no accountability for the one's in charge
I love the woman says everyone should have his number to call him. Lol
I would like to hear that phone call with the chief.
She must be fired
🟥
Can the people of Monroe County ever have confidence in their justice system again? What a nightmare!
Of course they made it about race when it wasn't about race. If the DA was black he would of been treated the same. It's about a abuse of power not about race.
People keep saying that it was because she was a DA. Please don't be short-sided. The officer even said he did not know who she was when she was fleeing. She was able to drive home without any issues. We all have seen bad outcomes when we don't stop as quickly as the officer wants. She got home with no problem because she was a caucasian woman. You probably would have not been able to go home. You would still be alive, but because you are a man, your treatment would have been different. Just because you may not like that we bring up race, it doesn't mean that it is not true. I will call "bull" if someone throws race into a situation and it is not warranted. This one, however, is correct.
Who are you trying to kid? You think if the district attorney was a black male, the officer would have let him drive home, reach into his car and walk into his house??? He would have been tased or shot.
Agreed
WHAT I SEE IN THIS CASE in the video is failure to produce proof of insurance😮
All Monroe County residents should evade traffic stops until Doorley is prosecuted and fired chief needs to be fired as well
Finally Dennis name is being put out there and he is gutless and i loved when they are saying we want Dennis number too so when this happens to us we can give him a call......love it!!
Shinny badge does not give anyone special treatment... Chief say it was a difficult situation, what the hell is he talking about, it should have been treated as anyone getting pull over for speeding. It's only show special treatment for another power individual with a Damm shinny badge....anyone else would have been stop and if acted the way the DA did, beaten, kick, choke, taser, handcuff and thrown in jail and charged for at least 3 felonies. So Chief u need to be fired too along with that Damm DA who acted like a power driven fool. If both of yall can't handle your job correctly then quit, plain and simple. Nothing difficult about it.
I'm happy to see that DA Out-the-door-ley is not getting out of this easily.
Maybe Sandra and the Chief have a Bigger Connection ( NO PUN INTENDED ) than the towns people know
How many people in the U.S. have died doing less?
Comments are being seriously limited on here .. hmmm wonder why !!
I live in Iowa but I want the Police Chief's phone number so I can call him whenever I get in trouble 😱
Ultimately, the DA can't survive this.
Dennis should be arrested for defeating the ends of justice as well as DA
Police Chief no show ??? What a surprise.
omg yes, we need dennis number too!
A perfect example of 'rules for thee but not for me'. Wonder why there's mistrust of government ?
Good for these citizens for standing up against that DA. Like that first woman said, if it was anyone else, they would moat likely had been KIA or maybe even arrested. There cannot be a double standard in how the law works.
Anyone else would still be in jail for fleeing and eluding.
She should've been taken to jail that day. And lost her job the next day.
Bye Doorley. You are no longer welcomed.
"Just comply" is the defense they've used for countless lives lost yet when she fails to comply knowing her life her safety is not in jeopardy because as she says she will prosecute herself so now an apology and a slap on the privileged risk is consequences enough tell that to the families whose member was the victim of a do not comply that ended in tragedy
Thanks to the citizens for standing up to these corrupt authority. She needs to let ho of power and high paying job
