Hi,maybe is the egg whites problem, you can try beat the egg white on high-speed until become bubble form, begin beat the egg whites on low speed added sugar separately for three times until firm peaks form, they become foamy and frothy it takes about 5-10 minutes to whip the eggs whites.

Hi,low gluten flour is more delicate than all purpose flour. can try to make,
for every 1 cup of all purpose flour remove 2 Tbsp of flour,and replace 2 Tbsp of that with cornstarch

0:16 warm 50 mL oil not to a boil ( 60 C ) remove from heat transfer to a bowl and add cake flour into the warm oil & stir 0:57 add milk & stir 1:23 add yolk into flour mixture and stir. 2:02 beat egg white & 3:09 soft peak. 3:16 fold meringues onto batter. 5:15 bake at 170 C for 60-70 minutes. Nice recipe

Update: Made this cake and it's absolutely delicious, a little eggy perhaps. I added Vanilla bean paste but you can swap sugar for Stevia and flour for almond or coconut flour and suit your fancy diet. Thank you for the recipe.

المقادير بالعربيه 50 مللي زيت و80 جرام دقيقه و80 ملي لبن يقلبوا جيداً ثم يضاف اليهم خمس صفار بيض وواحده السادسه بيضه كامله مع التقليب جيدا ثم في وعاء اخر نضع بياض خمس بيضات ونضرب بالمضرب الكهربائي ويضاف السكر 80 ملي وربع معلقه صغيره ملح
حتى يهيج ويصبح قوامه كريمي ثم يضاف معلقتين منه على الخليط السابق الدقيق و صفار البيض ثم ثم يقلب جميع المكونات مع بعضها من تحت لفوق بحرص شدي وتصب في صينيه وتدخل الفرن على حمام مائي

Mum and I have literally been making this cake nonstop for the past few weeks! We've tried so many other recipes but this one by far the fluffiest and complex in taste - almost tastes like cheesecake.
The only thing is that ours kept deflating - for those who come across this issue I recommend baking at 150C (no fan) for 80-90mins :)

So I’ve tried the recipe EXACTLY as instructed.
The consistency looks totally different.
In the video, it appears smooth and liquid-y.
Mine came out very dry and goopy.
I restarted over and turns out, you need a lot more milk than the video instructed.
Don’t add any more oil, as that was what makes it goopy.
It came out meehh

Hey, so I'm making it but 50ml of oil is less than 1/4 cup. In the video it looks like a lot more. Is it really 50ml?
edit: i ended up putting about 20ml more oil to achieve a consistency similar to the one in the video. It came out ok. The end batter is very light and soft prior to baking.

@@jennyjen1028 There are many reasons your cake didn’t turn out as the one shown in the video. I’ve used this recipe for so many times and it comes out perfect almost every time. I said almost because there’s times I didn’t make it as good due to different size of pans and eggs. If the eggs aren’t fresh, it makes a huge difference in the result too.
