My 2022 Icon has been excellent. The video cons are it weighs more than most (but that is because it gives you more stuff like extended roof, seat belts, turn signals, radio and the charger is built in so you don't have to schlep the heavy thing around. Like most golf carts, you have to evaluate the dealer who sells it to you. Some are great, some are absolute clowns with bad mechanics and employees who constantly quit.
My 2023 golf cart evolution is absolutely fantastic. It looks great. It comes very well equipped with the touchscreen bells and whistles. It has great pick up. It has awesome drive. I wish it had a little better ter ratio, but most golf carts are the same as far as that goes, other than that, I would definitely suggest getting one. It definitely turns heads.
All these fancy features and dashboards will break over time. I have a Club car. Very basic and and aluminum frame. You can always get parts for it as well
But their warranty/customer care after the sale is sketchy. They don't seem to care about their customers if they have issues even under warranty. No thanks.
@@STATICmedusoid Assembled (not made)in US like most everything on this video. Polaris makes the GEM. Evolution has had troubles with controllers in the past, no disc brakes and steering geometry is a little wonky.
Evolutions are all parts shipped from China and assembled in US. The biggest problem is they say they have a warranty but there are no parts to fix them.
@@davidbethke1849 can't speak to the controller issue as mine is under a year old, but the Forester model has 4-wheel disk brakes and the rack-and-pinion steering is just as stable as an EZ-GO (my previous cart)
I disagree, Icon, Bintelli and Evolution are all great carts. Evolution is one of the best carts made and we have had very little issues with great factory support on them. One of the best riding carts that run straight at top speed when going over bumps.
DO you own an Evolution? I am considering one...seems like a good price for all the street-legal bells and whistles. Would you recommend it and what do you see as the cons? Thanks
@@katyharris4510I just took delivery on a new one, one month ago. The parking brake will not engage. The local company here is giving me a lot of grief and so far refusing to come out soon to adjust it or troubleshoot it. I have heard ten excuses from them. I am getter ready to push the nuclear option on these idiots. For now, they will remain anonymous, but not forever.
We bought it from a dealer who sells many different brands that happens to service which was a plus for us and yes, our evolution has been low to no maintenance whatsoever. I check the tire pressures and make sure I charge accordingly. Other than that it’s fantastic. It gets 45 miles to a complete charge, which is plenty for where I need to go a days worth of enjoyment riding.

Had my Icon since 2019 - trouble free !

I have not had any problems with the ICON
Same. I love my Icon!
I work on golf carts for a living and I totally agree
What have been the big issues with the Evolutions you have worked on??? Thanks so much. I was considering getting one.
What's the issue with Evolution Golf Carts? They're made in the USA.

@@katyharris4510i definitely suggest an evolution, we’ve had one for two years now and love it
Bintelli cannot be fixed. There are no parts or customer support. Mine broke and cannot be repaired.
Good to know, I was about to shell out 15k for a Bintelli beyond 4
I totally agree with narrator, Linhai Crossfire Golf cart is a waste of money!!
I love my bintelli beyond
my grandpa owns the icon golf carts company
I guess most of these carts are made in China
I hear evolution don't need maintenance
