HOW TO TEST EGR VALVE ON MAZDA 2 3 5 6 CX-3 CX-5 CX-7 CX-9 MIATA. CODE P0401
If you have Mazda that has problems with the egr valve or codes that triggered the engine light on and the it is related to the egr in this video we will explain how to test egr valve and know if it is good or bad. EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Recirculation. We used Autel scanner to manually activate the egr valve that way we can see if it is working or not.

would a clogged egr hose or a dirty egr valve cause slow ignition? would it cause my car to turn off while im backing out of a parking space that was too tight.. ie the car wasnt just started and turned off while reversing.. then the ignition barely started the car. the battery has 14 v...

Not a very useful video. Most people will not have a scanner like that and even if they do you didn't really run through any troubleshooting.
